Superbly located just minutes from Taksim Square. Beautiful period building with fabulous terrace restaurant and great views of the city. Five minutes from Istiklal Caddesi with its shops bars and restaurants.

Whilst not an issue for us, there looked to be no easy access for disabled travellers. Through likely this would be addressed as the hotel reception and staff in general are very receptive. In general, I was surprised by the apparent lack of ease of disabled access in Istanbul. Step access everywhere. Could be an issue for some travellers. Visited in late January 2025. A few degrees warmer than UK, generally lucky with weather and Beyoglu area lacking crowds at that time.

Good location located in quiet spot. We were on the 5th floor. Not much traffic in the narrow back street. Didn't hear the early morning call to prayer, and yet every other place we stayed in Turkiye we did! This was a bonus, because after very long days travelling and sightseeing you are tired. I was so excited when I woke up at 4.40 am as it meant I had slept through the 1st call to prayer for the day by about 20 minutes! My body was obviously accustomed to the early starts, but, I didn't hear the call, so the building is relatively well sound proofed.

Location and the building itself. Old world charm. Fabulous, attentive staff. Great breakfast.

The bed in the room we booked was too soft and a bit lumpy. However,we asked if possible to change and upgraded to a larger suite, so not a great issue. Unfortunately, the terrace with restaurant and bar was under renovation so there was no onsite dining or drinks. Again, not a big problem as there are great restaurants and shops selling wine nearby but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Breakfast was good, but an indoor option with AC might have been a nice option with the temps in the mid 30s. The location is ideal. The front desk staff is very good within the limitations of what they can actually affect.

The A/C In the room wasn’t great (admittedly I like it very cold). Not having air conditioning in the hallways probably contributes to the problem. The room itself (Superior Room with Balcony) is listed as 30 meters, but there’s no chance that it’s that size. Best you pay up a tiny bit for a Corner Room or Superior Room (with no balcony), listed at 35 square meters, which it likely is.

first of all it is quite....I have visited a lot of hotels in istiklal street and this is by far the best hotel for light sleepers like myself and the rooms are big I believe its the biggest you can find in taksim area plus I liked the breakfast although the varieties are low but it was excellent for my taste and the rooms are clean and last but not least the staff are friendly and always willing to help I would and I will come back and always stays in this hotel

Beautiful rooms and good location. I recommend to book a room with a balcony with city view. Also, the restaurant Terrace41 was finally opened (it was closed two years ago) and you can have a breakfast with wonderful view. The staff is very friendly

It certainly needs some reparations. There was a bad smell coming from bathroom. It gets pretty loud at nights because of cars passing by with loud music. I was there two years ago and staff was honest and very helpful however this time before leaving I felt like one employee tried to get some extra money when we asked to call a taxi for us. I advice you to call Uber or something relevant when you go to the airport as it will be cheaper.

I like everything about this property and its location. Politness and kindness of staff is touching. Good food for dinner. Breakfast cannot rate as I almost never visit it. Amazing roof terrace restaurant. Stay here everytime I come for my business travels in IST. Most of all like the rooms with small balconies. That's a pleasure after long business days to find myself in the old historical district. You should love oldness, traditions and history to enjoy the stay. If you prefer brand new places this one is not for you. All the negative feedbacks to this property here is a result of wrong choice of travellers. Otherwise it's a best place for all of us who likes to feel truthful cultural vibes of the country.

Istanbul is a crazy and action packed city. Corinne felt like a calming oasis away from the chaos. The staff were all very lovely and helpful and the feeling in the restaurant was very peaceful, with great food and drinks. In your room at night, you can hear noise from outside due to the location being so central to many bars and restaurants. But that's also just part of the Istanbul experience, it's a vibrant place. If you can't embrace that then this city isn't for you! One nice highlight: it was my girlfriend's birthday and without asking, one of the staff (I think his name was Orhan but I am terrible with names, sorry!) prepared complimentary glasses of wine and cheesecake in our room. That was really thoughtful. They were also helpful with other requests and always ready to be of service. The room was clean and spacious and every day the staff spruced it up while we were out. It's a beautiful hotel with great classic style, friendly and helpful staff, simple but very tasty breakfast, excellent rooftop views, and a great central location. I highly recommend and hope to come back again one day. Thank you to all the staff, the front desk, the restaurant, and cleaning crews, for helping us have such a pleasant time!

The person who welcomed us when we arrived was very helpful to us and remained so for the whole stay, the man on the evening shift continued this hospitality. The bar/restaurant staff were very pleasant, we even had a free backgammon lesson from the owner. The girls cleaning the room were just as delightful. It's a very clean hotel and full of character. The location was great, off the main drag and not too noisy. We walked everywhere and decided we had picked very well.

i cant really fault the hotel or the experience. We had a small suite which suited us well.

I've stayed here a few times before and I love this hotel and the staff. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Istiklal Street. Most rooms are spacious and quiet. Special shout out to Burhan, Rahmi and Deniz on reception who were all lovely and extremely helpful - thanks so much guys

Unfortunately the room I specifically booked and paid for was unavailable due to maintenance issues. The room we were given instead had a spa which was nice, but unfortunately the room was quite small and dark with only one small window. We were eventually able to change to a larger room which was much better
