The location was always with good vibes, hotel manager always on site going around his hotels and speaking to the hotel guests. The breakfast is served directly opposite of the hotel in the restaurant, which at night had a very chilled vibe, for having a turkish tea, beer and/or wine and very reasonably priced compared to other places.

The shower is not handheld, it only had a rainfall shower head, so it was a bit uncomfortable for the wife to take a shower without wetting her hair. Soundproofing could have a bit more done to it, sometimes people drinking, laughing stay up till 4am and can easily be heard, not really something that I did not like - but sometimes you would not mind some peace and quiet. Also, the room could use a couple of more lights in the room, the lighting was a bit low - but it seems to be everywhere in Turkey.

The room was everything one needed! Modernly decorated, clean comfy and central to many great attraction. Getting around was very easy especially thanks to Cabriel. Cabriel welcomed us and was so helpful, efficient, friendly and hospitable. He gave us good guidance of where to go and how to get there. There are many great restaurants and shops on your door step. It really is a great place to stay!

The surrounding restaurants are a quite noisey at night but we were so tired after our sight seeing it didn’t keep us up. I would recommend they perhaps get double glazing windows in future. Also just a suggestion to get a full length mirror for the bedroom.

Very nice hotel located in a small alley next to Istiklal street. The street and the nearby alleys are always packed with people, and lots of bars/businesses around are open 24 hours. Plenty of options and stuff to do. Room was comfortable, as fulfilled expectations!

As mentioned by many other reviews, it is a noisy hotel. But with some good earplugs its more than fine!

LOCATION WAS GOOD , STAFF WAS EXCELLENT SPECIALLY Mr. CEBRAIL DELICE AT THE RECEPTION. HE IS A GEM OF A PERSON. THE HOTEL HAS NO DIRECT APPROCH FOR TAXIS & THEY ARE PARKED ABOUT 150M AWAY FROM HOTEL ENTRENCE, CEBRAIL WAS VERY KIND TO COME & HELP US UNLOAD THE BAGS FROM THE TAXI AND CARRY IT TO OUR ROOMS , HE ALSO GAVE US EARLY CHECK IN AS WE HAD AN ALL NIGHT FLIGHT FROM LONDON & REACHED HOTEL AROUND 9AM. HE CARRIED OUR BAGS TO THE TAXI WHEN WE CHECKED OUT & WE DID HAVE SOME HEAVY BAGS AS WE WERE RETURNING FROM A MONTH LONG TRIP OF UK & STAYED IN ISTANBUL FOR 2 DAYS. HE BOOKED A WONDERFUL CRUISE FOR US WHICH WE REALLY ENJOYED & ALSO BOOKED THE RETURN TAXI TO AIPORT, IF THIS HOTEL DESERVES 5* THAN 2 OF THESE FIVE WILL GO TO CEBRAIL.

THEY COULD IMPROVE THE BREAKFAST , MAYBE ADD JUICE .

The whole stay at the Kamil Bey Suites was excellent. The staff was very friendly and so so helpfull. We also booked a transfer from and to the airport and they were exceptional when it came to the organisation. The breakfast was rather simple but very good and enough to keep one hungry till lunch. The room was very spacious, very warm and the water pressure and temperature were perfect, even though we stayed on the fourth floor. The location of the hotel was also very good especially if one likes shopping since the main street is full of shops and the side streets were also full of little boutiques. Taksim Square was at a walking distance exactly like the Galata Tower. Everything was like it was supposed to be. Will come back the next time we are in Istanbul! The thing that impressed us the most is that the host messaged us after our transfer, to ask if everything was okay and we are very thankful for that and for how friendly the staff was.

This review is based on a very reasonable price paid which makes my stay excellent value for money. Regarding the noise - yes, it is noisy, especially during the weekend (it didn't bother me much), but it is the most central location it could be so you can't expect peace and quiet. It is surrounded with bars and pubs so it is very lively area. I, personally, liked it. The location is perfect for the first-time visit. Staff is nice, polite and and welcoming. Design of the room is very nice and interesting, but don't expect luxury. Towels were changed every day, shampoo refilled and free bottles of water given every morning. Breakfast was kind of basic but okay to start a day (only sausages as meat option). For the regular coffee and drinks, there's a nice bar just in front of the hotel.

Breakfast could have been more various (it is exactly the same every day). Deluxe suite didn't seem like 30 square meters but smaller. Bathroom also small but functional.

We stumbled on Kamil Bey after a disappointing hotel experience in sultanahmet. The staff could not be nicer & considerate. Its clean and rooms are well appointed. There's plenty of bar/cafes with comfortable seating directly outside and nearby. Taksim square and shops are one block away and we enjoyed stepping into main street energy and retreating back to the bars/cafes in front of Kamil Bey. Plenty of shade when it's hot. There is music from the surrounding bars at night, so if you sleep light ask for a room on a higher floor - it didn't bother us.

Central location (the noise at night was not problem for me, more important that hotel is located in really safe area in old town) , hospitality of all staff, clean sunny room with comfortable bad, perfect bathroom (excellent water pressure- problem with many hotel in old town, modern dryer, good quality mini toiletries), small breakfast imcludeed in the price of booking, elevator

The club near the hotel can be a bit loud on the weekend.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice to set us up for the day! Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Would like to have some coffee sachets in the room and there should be more toilet rolls (had to keep asking for some) The room was very noisy as above lots of bars- it didn't bother us as we were up until late, but maybe bring earplugs if you plan on a good night's rest.
