beautiful design/aesthetics. Nice breakfast. Massive room (suite)

Our room was on the 4th floor, yet the street noise was incredibly loud. We barely slept for the 3 nights we were there as people yelling, music played etc. also clear prostitution happening - there’s a literal brothel across the street which was pretty seedy.

The decoration and the atmosphere and the architecture very beautifully well made! And timeless!

The only issue that made me feel skeptical about coming again is the visitors policy! The only reason i loved the hotel in the past is the bring visitors and its allowed !!! It was a stand out amongst other hotels!!! But now im unfortunately disappointed about the new rule! As i booked a penthouse and couldn’t enjoy the freedom of inviting friends over and fully enjoy the experience! Oh well.

Great stay here, the place has really beautiful decor and was clean and modern. They provide all the basics of a 4 star hotel. And location wise it’s near all the action if you want to stay near Taksim or istiklal street. However after spending a few days in Istanbul I would opt to live lower down Beyoğlu next time as it’s a bit more high end as you will notice with the restaurant and bar offerings.

Location is good as I mentioned in terms of it being nearby the busy streets (bare in mind I was not a fan of the mini street bars and restaurants around, as the area reminded me of the run down bar areas.) the location of the hotel is slightly dodgy as from what I could tell is nearby a drug den so you have many sketchy characters in the road and many trans as well. A bit weird but doesn’t bother me as I grew up in the hood, but I can see how it might bother others.

Location, the staff and the rooms. It's probably the 5th time that we stay in this hotel. We love it.

Some of the furniture needs to be replaced, the years and the continued use begins to be noticed.

The staff were super nice, the terrace room was perfect, the lobby was greatly designed, the views of the room.

I would upgrade the towels, they seemed a bit old, other than that it was great!

From the very moment I stepped inside the hotel I experienced fantastic hospitality. Ömer, the wonderful receptionist went above and beyond to assist with whatever I needed. A restaurant reservation or a taxi to the airport to avoid overpaying- no problem. Thank you Ömer for you wonderful hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful. Located on a quiet street only a few meters from the main shopping street of Istanbul. I loved staying in the heart of Istanbul and found everything within walking distance. Everything inside the hotel was modern with a sophisticated yet classic look. The bed was very comfortable. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is extremely centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood in Istanbul. It's a relatively short walk to a bustling high-street and Taksim square if that's what interests. But it's also just around the corner from countless bars, cafes, antique shops, restaurants, and more. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the restaurant was generous and tasty. The top-floor room had amazing panoramic views of the city and the water. The room was immaculately clean. It was a great value for money in an incredible location. My only warning to travelers with possible mobility issues is to look out--this is a *very* steep neighborhood with lots of hills.

Second time staying after a disaster at another hotel so booked Room Mate Emir in an emergency. The hotel was again fantastic and Gokhan and Hussyein in particular made sure we had a great time. Funny thing was that the hotel I had issue with was rated the same and very slightly higher in booking.com but this hotel is much better. So I actually think this hotel is rated low. We stayed at the junior suite which is MASSIVE for a hotel room. The design is super cool.

The property design is FANTASTIC. Really cool, boutique, and intentionally designed. I'm an architect so I really mean that. The staff are truly fantastic and went above and beyond to help us! Especially Ali and the other Turkish guy with a nice beard (sorry I forgot the name). The location is also excellent. I'd recommend going opposite form taksim and explore Cihangir. The rooms are also great value.

I thought room cleaning could be more attentive with changing towels.
