Amazing Experience at Sometimes Hotel Taksim – Highly Recommend! Our stay at Sometimes Hotel Taksim was absolutely fantastic, and I can confidently say this is one of the best little hotels I have stayed in! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Taksim, close to Istiklal Street and within walking distance to many key attractions. Despite being so central, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful retreat after exploring the vibrant city. Opposite the hotel, you will find a mini market, and just around the corner, there is a pharmacy. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with charming interiors and clean rooms. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the comfortable beds to the bathrooms. The breakfast was a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and offering a great variety to start the day. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the exceptional service. Farouk, the manager, was an absolute gem! He went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, helping us plan our days with insider tips. Just listen to him. He gives you little notes that he prints on the spot with places to go and how to get there. His knowledge and warmth made us feel at home. He recommended some hidden gems for dinner and places to shop, and his advice was spot on. If you stay here, don’t miss trying the local food spots he suggests—you’ll discover authentic flavors away from the tourist traps. He also organized transportation for us and gave us detailed guidance on how to navigate Istanbul’s public transport. Sometimes Hotel Taksim truly feels like a home away from home. I had a wonderful stay at the Sometimes Hotel in Istanbul. The owner, who is also the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. He generously upgraded our room and provided us with useful information about the area. The room was very clean, nicely furnished, and housekeeping was done every day. The hotel is perfectly located in a calm neighborhood in central Taksim, just a 5-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and all the main facilities. The manager even helped us with arranging a taxi to the airport, which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend the Sometimes Hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul – great service, comfort, and location!

We loved everything about this place. Its right in the heart of Taksim. If you look on maps it is on a side street but it is extremely safe and oddly enough blocks out the noise at night. The owner is an absolute gem of a man. When we would ask for recommendations he would personally walk us there. He made reservations for us, helped us navigate, made us coffee and brought to our room. Too notch service. We will definitely be staying at the sometimes hotel next time in Taksim. Please please please stay here when you come. The owner deserves your business and will do whatever is needed to help you enjoy your trip. 20/10 experience.

Everything was superb, the owner was very friendly and helpful, he even upgraded us to deluxe room for free, we will definitely be coming back!

Breakfast was delivered to our room at our requested time - full Turkish breakfast - excellent The owner is absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help and speaks good English which made our life easier the hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to the main attractions of the city. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable We stayed in January the room had super warm heating which was easily adjustable and also the had bathroom under floor heating We enjoyed our time at Sometimes Hotel - Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Istanbul

The hotel is located in a very convenient, central area, very close to Istiklal Street but it's very quiet without the hassle and bustle of the road. The metro station is within 5-7 min walking distance and visitors can find whatever they need just around the corner. The room is spacious enough for two people and very clean. Mattresses are comfortable and the breakfast is very tasty. Faruk (the owner), is very kind and hospitable and helped us a lot during our stay. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely amazing!!! The best host ever, went over and beyond, accommodated all our needs, which were specific... he's actually not just a host, but a tourist guide as well... he's always there for whatever you need, gave us directions and great advice for where to go, how to get there, where and what to eat... BREAKFAST spectacular! Not to mention a photo he took as we were going out and gave us as the best memory to have! Greatest recommendations!

My mom and I had an incredible time at Sometimes Hotel in Istanbul. The location was super ideal, making it easy for us to explore the city’s attractions during our short stay. The location is also close to the tunnel and ferries. A lot of nice places to eat in a very close distance. For example, breakfast cafe Yigit Sofram or restaurant for tasty dinner (Mahkeme Lokantasi). The owner was exceptionally friendly, ensuring we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The facilities were superb, and our room was cleaned daily, leaving it smelling fresh and tidy. It was also super warm with heating on. We enjoyed our time at Sometimes Hotel and plan to return in the future. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Istanbul. Central and not noisy at all.
