Old building but well kept, clean and comfortable. Location was excellent. Good value for money.

The breakfast area was on level -1 and did not have any heating! We visited Istanbul in February during very cold weather and it was very uncomfortable in the morning. We had to eat with our coats on!

The location and staff most of all. The building itself is very nice. The staff is cleaning often. They have been very helpful with whatever we asked. The breakfast is delicious and in a beautiful space.

The rooms do feel a lot like hotel rooms with only beds, not too much space for storing stuff, to put stuff on. Bathroom needs some space like that. Some small renovations could take place.

I had a wonderful 10-day stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making us feel very welcome. A special thanks to Sazgin, who worked in the breakfast area—his kindness and attentiveness made our mornings even better. The breakfast was good and tasty. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The hotel’s location in Taksim was perfect, with easy access to public transportation, making it very convenient to explore Istanbul. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

The only minor downside was a bit of noise at night due to the lively area, but it didn’t personally bother me or my partner. the juice in the breakfast area could also be improved.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights. The hotel rooms are large and very clean. The hotel is located right behind Istikaal Street which is a bonus. The daytime team leader Kadir is experienced, friendly and was willing to answer all our questions. Thank you very much Kadir, you are an asset for your hotel. The staff at the restaurant also had exceptional customer service. Deniz, Gurbet, Ahmed and Shezgin were welcoming at the breakfast time and always said hello to make us and other visitors comfortable. The variety of breakfast changed daily and we never got bored of the food. A special thank you to Deniz for her kindness and assistance with breakfast. All the staff give their best to ensure people get what they need during breakfast time. I recommend this hotel to anyone and when I return to Istanbul, I will only stay at this hotel.

The staff were very nice, they were helpful and we could change our room easily. The rooms are very good, and modern. The breakfast was very good. The location is amazing for those who want to be in the hart of Isteklal street, it can be hectic though.

We booked double standard room, but for the first couple of nights, the room that we had was tiny, I think it was more like economy room, then the staff were nice enough and changed it. it was difficult for my partner to work as there was no desk in the room. There is also the noise issue at night, but that what is like to stay in taksim square.

Friendly stuff, helped us with the luggage and with ordering the transfer to the airport. OK-ish breakfasts; lots of different food and good coffee but super weird sausages, didn’t like them, never seen sausages like that. Great location to stay; everything’s pretty close.

Extremely noisy neighbourhood and not in a good way. The bars are literally in the same building so you will hear everything up until 2-3 o clock in the morning. Couldn’t believe that it’s real. A big no if you plan on sleeping at night. The doors are also not quite soundproof and you will hear people talking outside your room. An old TVset, maybe like from 10 years ago, definitely not a 4 star hotel quality.

Great location. Right near the shopping of Istiklal St and 5 mins walk to the metro. Also, a 15 min walk to the Galata Tower. Sinan at the reception was great. He helped us book our Bosphorous Cruise, our airport taxi and provided us with lots of help and tips to get around. Thank you, Sinan. The breakfast was also a good spread. The waiter was very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was amazing with great pressure of hot water.

The air conditioning in the room was not consistent. On one night it barely cooled. It was a cool night so we opened the window a bit. More variety of eggs could be served at breakfast. Although the spread was good, there isn't too much variation. The were barely any English channels on TV. Mostly just Turkish channels, which was actually fine as we're too tired to watch TV on most days.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We werewas satisfied with the facilities, the convenient location, and the breakfast provided. Additionally, I highly recommend Kharon Cafe, which is located near the hotel. The food there is very good, reasonably priced, and the environment is welcoming and comfortable — a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The area around the hotel is quite noisy, but that’s common for this part of the city, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. The main inconvenience was the air conditioner — its position directed the airflow straight onto the bed, which was uncomfortable at night. Additionally, it didn’t have a remote control, so we had to get up during the night to turn it on and off.

We had a very good stay at Taxim lounge hotel The hotel is in an excellent location , walking distance to bus station and to the subway. The front desk were very cooperative Mr Mustafa and Mr Ahmet were of great help . We asked for the airport pick up service and they were very punctual the car was excellent and our drivers were very friendly , the car dropped us exactly in front of the hotel door the same on our way back car dropped us at the airport . Breakfast was very tasty and every day had some new plates besides the regular daily ones . I really enjoyed the food and the restaurant itself was cozy and the waiters there were very friendly and always greeting us kindly . Our room was very well maintained and clean Ms zeinab always had it cleaned and supplied us daily with water bottles , AC worked very well The only draw back was the size of the room , it was really small . The hotel is surrounded by some cafes and pubs , so at night it is a bit loud , the front desk did supply us with earplugs and we were lucky to be in the third floor , so it wasn’t that bad . I would definitely like to stay there on my next visit but would make sure to take a bigger room .
