The staff are amazing and so helpful. Both front desk guys helped us with every single thing we needed. We had heavy bags and he carried them all. The hotel is right by istikhal so you walk out the hotel and have istikhal a few steps away. I cannot thank the staff enough for how great they are. Thank you!

The staff was very efficient and the only thing I’d say is that the hotel should increase the staff so that all of the duties are not only on one or two staff members as they do more than enough already.

the staff! would give you all the free bottle water & coffee supplies that you needed(just ask at the reception desk). upstairs terrace is open 24/7. sofas, tables & chairs & there is a microwave up there that you can use! self serve laundromat in 2 blk. late night food & alcohol & Ice sold on street below. the room frig includes a freezer section for the ice you can buy. great loc! 5 min walk from taskim square where airport metro drops you off in 1hr. love how the room had a DOOR between the bedroom & the living room & kitchen. like a mini apartment. ac worked great in march. & so did the WiFi!

stayed 6 nights but no house keeping & no sweeping of the floors. only replaced towels & pulled garbage after 3 nts.(just fyi) also, 2 flights of stairs before you get to the elevator, but I found that this is common here.

It was in the beginning of Istiklal, the best area that comes even more alive in the night and is a good start for daily excursions and late night strolls.As a family with two kids (5yo) we wanted a room with communicating rooms and it was exactly what we wanted. Keep in mind that it is a low-mid range hotel so comparing it with a 5 star hotel it would be unfair. Internet was decent and they also had a mini fridge that came in handy. Great selections for food so no need to cook in my opinion. Metro and havabus are close to the hotel so it’s easy to go to airport and other places. Also you can easily walk and use the train and boats to visit Eminonu, Kadikoy, Princes Islands and go to Sultanahmet by tram to visit all historical monuments or even walk down to Galata tower.

As everyone is saying there are two flights of stairs but the staff is very helpful with the luggages. The overall cleaning of the room could have been better. It could get a bit noisy from upper rooms. The street might seem a bit weird but the police is on the opposite of the hotel and it was really safe.

The people working here were so nice. Fatih, Yalchin, and Seyit (sorry if spelled your name wrong guys!) were some of the best people I've met in Istanbul. They speak English really well. They were very insightful, helpful and kind, made my stay very easy. They were very respectful to me and I felt safe staying at this hotel as a solo female traveler. The location is great, very close to the main area and the historical tram stops right in front of the alley. It is very central so a bit of noise is expected, but earplugs work well. If you take the airport shuttle to Taksim, the walk from the bus stop to the hotel through Istikal Street is flat, and takes less than 10 minutes, so no taxi needed. The building is a bit old, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The minifridge is handy to keep leftovers, and the kitchen is enough to heat up food. The wifi is decent and I like to spend some time upstairs in the common area where it's sunny and quiet. The building is a combination of elevator and a bit of stairs. The staff helped me with my luggage, so there were no problem at all. They don't charge extra for late check in (I checked in slightly after midnight) and there's always one staff on standby. I would come and stay here again!

If they have a normal chair to sit in the room, the desk could have been used to work. The couch is a little bit low for the height of the table, so I had to add a bit of cushions to be comfortable, for 1 hour it's ok though. If i need to use my laptop longer, I'd go to the common area upstairs.

Perfect hotel , the location is so good and the room is clean , the most important thing is (( Anas )) he was so helpful in everything, any thing i need any questions,, everything he helped me ,, many thanks anas for everything you are so kind

The heater is not worked in my period this is the only negative thing

The hotel is in a perfect area , at istakla street near Taksim square , you can go literally everywhere and going back is easy and safe , you have around everything you need. The hotel is not fancy but you will not miss anything , hot water all the time , hot room and clean room and towel ! Overall a great hotel if you are looking to explore and go back to it so you rest!

I would like a renovation new furniture tv etc ..

Every thing was perfect 😍 · I liked a lot the location of the hotel,the hospitality of the staff especially Mr. Yalçın ( I hope I wrote it right) the rooms was clean and spacious. We found almost everything we needed around the hotel and public transport was easily accessible. Anytime I will visit Istanbul Alba hotel will be my choice 😍

Fab location. Just a few steps away from Istiklal street. Front desk guy Enes was nice & helpful. Clean rooms with a seating TV area, tiny bathroom though but manageable. Overall had a pleasant stay

Stairs to reach 1st floor. No elevator. Elevator starts from 1st floor.
