I really liked the location and also the staff, who were very friendly (the 3-Ms), whose names started with the letter M. The location was less than 1 min walk to the famous Istiklal Street and there we plenty of places to eat and shop around. Yet, inside the hotel and my room was very quiet to sleep peacefully. The staff was always eager to advice on local travel and local activities when asked and even made arrangements on some local activities. I took the bus from the Airport and also on the way back and I could walk to /from the hotel, via Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, from / to the Havaist bus stand. I will surely stay here when I return to Istanbul.

There was quite a variety of food at the breakfast buffet that I liked. Unfortunately, the items were not labeled and I did not learn the names or the contents of a number of the dishes. The kitchen staff spoke Turkish and I did not! I wish the hotel management would pay attention to this and describe the items, for those who are not familiar.

The Staff was great. Kind and helpful anytime. Location also is very good. My room was nice (despite being a bit too small) but I appreciated the fact it had balcony. Overall I had a great experience and for sure I will come back next time.

One minor comment is on the breakfast, eggs (boiled, scrambled etc) were always finished also 1 hour before breakfast time closure. I was asking the staff to prepare more for me and they were always happy to help. I just believe you should consider to increase the quantity of eggs (more plates for scrambled - more plates for boiled etc) in the buffet selection and remove some of the other offers people were not really getting. I was asking to refill eggs every day, some people would just not say anything and complain with a bad review afterwards.

We visited Istanbul for a weekend and were looking for a hotel in the middle of the city, with easy access to all three main parts of Istanbul. We chose The Tango Hotel, which is located near Taksim Square, close to the metro, bus stops, and taxis (just be a bit cautious with taxi drivers), and it was a great choice! The price was good, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the reception is open 24 hours. They also offer breakfast—personally, I didn’t eat there, but my friend did, and she was really happy with it. If you prefer eating out like I do, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés right outside the hotel. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Istanbul!

The room came with just one key, which was a bit tricky since we were two people with different plans—but we managed to arrange it somehow.

Location: 1 minute away from Istiklal Street, 5 minutes away from Taksim Meydan, Metro & bus tunnel. Great location, close to a variety of restaurants, shops, and cafes. Şok market is right down the street. Safe at night, so you don't need to worry about getting back late to the hotel. Room: Our room was big on the 4th floor with a nice balcony viewing the mosque near by the hotel. Facilities were good, the AC worked fine. Bathroom shower is amazing with hot water and strong flow. Tea and water were provided daily. Cleaning ladies are very friendly and nice. They checked on us daily if we needed anything. Clean towels were provided as well. They upgraded our room for maintenance with no extra charge and moved us to the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and nicer. Breakfast: Buffet kind of Turkish breakfast, which I personally like. It was a mix of cheeses, eggs, fruits and vegetables, Turkish dishes, jam, honey, desserts.. They added something new every other day. Staff: Very hospitable, friendly, and helpful, always greeted us with a smile and always checked if we needed anything. English and Arabic speaking receptionist so language wasn't an issue. Staff were very helpful, and had even reached out in advance via Whatsapp to offer assistance in booking a taxi from the airport if required. They showed me how to use the safe in the room to secure my passport during my stay. Also they were very willing to offer advice on the local area and recommendations on where to go and things to see. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had a good selection of cooked and uncooked options. Rooms were kept very clean by the cleaning staff. The location of the hotel is really convenient for Taksim and the main shopping boulevard. I felt very safe walking around the area even at night.

On one night I was woken up at 3am by very noisy people in the adjacent room who had come back to their room very late and played music at full volume in their room for about 10 minutes, totally disturbing my sleep. This isn't the fault of the hotel per se, though be aware that the sound proofing between the rooms is limited so if you have noisy neighbours you may hear them.

The location was good and the hotel itself was very clean. The receptionists and kitchen staff were all so lonely and helpful.

The porter was useless. He did not help carry any of our bags when we arrived (We were 2 females) and when we didn’t tip because he didn’t do anything, just walked us to the room he had an attitude with us our whole stay. The other staff members also called him up on it but he did not care.

Very helpful and nice personnel. Everyone speaks English (an achievement at Istanbul!) Nice breakfast, good internet, big towels, strong shower. Safe lock box in the room is spacious and easy to use.

Price list on service is inaccurate. Laundry costs 50tl PER ITEM thus I've paid 225 per kilo although a manager made a discount and took 200tl. Window view is pretty much covered with the next building, but it's hard to find better in this area. Room seems smaller than on photo although I didn't measure it with the meter of course.

The hotel is close to the istiklal Cd. ( the main tourist street) and Taksim square. From hete, it is convenient to go to the old town by public transportation. The breakfast is good, about 20+items to select. The staffs are nice and friendly. It takes about 15minutes walk to get to the airport bus station which is nice.

The location is excellent, just a short distance from Istiklal Avenue. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Mr. Mahmet was always available to support us and provided useful advice while being very attentive to our needs
