Hotel & location were great -just behind Istiklal street so it was easy to shop/eat & take a break at the hotel whenever. We were 3 girls & felt very safe. Stayed on the last floor (during the weekend) & didn't hear any noise. Rooms were clean & spacious bathroom. We were lucky to have early check-in as we arrived a few hours early & a lovely man helped us with our luggage. We had a little medical emergency & the staff went out of their way to help us which we really appreciated. Big thank you to the lovely hotel staff - everyone was very friendly & helpful. Looking forward to staying there again :)

The staff was very helpful with check in, helping me with my luggage, helping with directions and helping me get to the taxi stand in the wee hours of the morning. It’s very easy to get to from the metro but in the metro it was hard to find the right exit. The Taksim area very close but also very crowded.

The room is quite small. Hard to maneuver around 2 suitcases on the floor. The noise from the bars was minimal but the beat of the music was constant until closing. The A/C noise drowned out the sounds.

The hotel has a very good location, it is in the middle of Taksim square. Within 10-minute walk you can arrive the Metro station. The room is clean and neat. It has elevator and air conditioner. The staff in the front desk is friendly and helpful. You can store your lugguage there if you would like to check out earlier. Update 17.12.2022: The hotel Staff Mr. Sayed was so responsible who read my review and then talked to the taxi office again. Eventually he got the amount back what was charged additionally by the driver. I am very satisfied with the handling and his extra effort. Thanks a lot for it and I really appreciate his professionalism and his attitude.

The lobby is a bit dark, this accommodation does not provide breakfast. The room itself was clean yet a bit tiny if you travelled with a big luggage (29 inch), you might not have enough space to open it without blocking your ways. As a side note: I had a communication problem when booking the taxi via the hotel. The accommodation booked the transfer service for me. When I arrived my destination, the driver overcharged than what was agreed and he was rather impatient. The issue was reported and the hotel was responsive but for me it was not a very pleasant experience.

Amazing Stay at Mint Residence Taksim! We had a wonderful experience at Mint Residence Taksim. Mr. Ümit, the owner, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh towel changes, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The location is fantastic—strategically situated, safe, and close to everything we needed. The WiFi was excellent, which made our stay even more convenient. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience. We truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Mint Residence Taksim legitimately had the best service of any hotel I have ever stayed at. All of us were so moved by the thoughtful and caring hospitality! We especially wanted to highlight Peyman, who, in addition to giving us great recommendations and advice, went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He met us at 4:40 in the morning to make sure I had my medicine from their freezer on our departure day. He let us know which stores to avoid and which restaurants had great quality and great prices. He wrapped some of our souvenirs and brought them to our rooms to make sure they wouldn't get damaged in transit. He really made it a great stay and we highly recommend staying at Mint Residence Taksim because of it! Also, the location is great and the bedrooms were nice and cleaned daily! It was a great value for the money, especially considering the service!

It was really a great stay. The only thing that could have improved it was a duvet or softer blanket.

The staff was very polite, hotel was very clean. Location is behind Istiklal street and next to Taksim square. That's very convenient because you're next to bus and Metro station as long as taxi station. I've heard that maybe it would be a little bit loud in this area but we didn't have any problem with that as long as we had the window closed. I surely recommend it.

In total there wasn't something that I didn't like. If I had to mention something that I would prefer differently, that would be the size of the room. It's not bad but I would prefer to be just a little bit bigger so we could be comfortable to move in it because when I left a big suitcase it really made the room smaller. Also the TV is small. However I would book the hotel again.

Excellent place 10 out of 10. Very friendly and hospitable staff: the owner Mr Umit, the reception guy Kadir and the housekeeping lady Ainur. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back again. The rooms are so nice, warm, cozy and sunny. The bathrooms, large and comfortable, have a hair-dryer and toiletries. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms deserves 5 stars: daily bed linen and towels changing, providing shampoo and soap. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. All nights we were sleeping like angels despite that the hotel is located right next to the busiest Istiklyal street where you can find lots of shops, cafe's and restaurants. Things that we liked most of all: location, spacious lift at hotel, TV with Russian and English channels and fridge in the rooms, fast and stable wi-fi. We spent unforgettable time in Istanbul which has become our second home thank to Mint Residence Taksim 🤗

The hotel has good location. Just few minutes walk to the Taksim, Istiklal street and public transport. Owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful to meet our needs. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

It would be good to provide at least one bottle of drinking water and two ceramic cups or glasses in rooms for guests who just arrived to hotel after long flight or trip. Also, having an electric ketlle to boil water, a little box with tissue would be very appreciated.

We stayed at Mint Residence Taksim hotel for 6 days, and we were absolutely impressed by the excellent hospitality of the staff. Everything we asked for was provided immediately with courtesy. Maybe the best service we ever had in a hotel. Also, the location of the hotel is the best for a short trip to the city. 2 minutes from Istiklal, not even 5 from taxim square (metro station). At a distance of a few meters from the hotel you can find restaurants and shops. The rooms (although a bit small) had all the comforts and were very clean. Highly recommended!!

The location of the hotel is excellent, the street is not hilly :) There is a grocery shop, a vegetable shop next to the hotel, and there are excellent shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood because of Istiklal Caddesi. It is centrally located near Taksim Square, so public transport is very good. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a very quiet room, so we had a good rest. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, it was our first time in this hotel, but I hope it will not be the last.
