This lovely, small hotel is strategically located within a mere two minutes walk from Taksim Square. It has a certain old world charm and character to it, and is currently discreetly upgrading the rooms and public areas in a quiet and a manner that we didn’t find obstructive or bothersome while staying there. The hotel has approximately 17 rooms, spanning four floors, with standard rooms of a decent size( which we stayed in) as well as larger, more elegant rooms in a higher yet not much more expensive category. I took a hotel tour and saw all the options. All room types offer an excellent value for such a nice, well positioned property. Murat, the gentleman who assisted us with checkin and greeted us so kindly as we came and went each day, is a professional, kind and knowledgeable man who is also a tremendous asset to this great hotel. Beds were comfortable. Lighting was more atmospheric than bright, but rooms boast large windows allowing natural light in to the rooms. While breakfast isn’t included here, as there is no in-house restaurant, you can get breakfast at many places nearby. You can also order room service from the restaurant downstairs, whip offers a well rounded menu. One thing to keep in mind about the Taxsim area, it certainly is a noisy part of town, with many people wandering the main pedestrian boulevard out front, until all hours of the night, and police cars with sirens, street cleaning trucks and voices of revelers will be unavoidable unless you wear earplugs. But that’s the nature of this lively part of the city. With that said, would I stay here again and would I recommend it? That answer to that is a bold and positive YES! Great value, great price, great place to return to.

The area is truly wonderful and exciting but it can certainly have its noise issues. Having stayed in other parts of this city, I can say you are trading in the very loud early morning call to prayer for the late evening party reveler’s “ call to party”. Again, in spite of the noise in the area, I would definitely stay here again, and I would certainly stay here if it’s available. The hotels in this area can not be held responsible for the sounds of the general public enjoying the district.

Overall I I am very satisfied with and enjoyed my stay at Ragip Pasha Apartments. The location is excellent. It is in a prime location right in the heart of the famous Istiklal Street so plenty to see and do in the area. The apartment was also very clean and the staff were all excellent. Super friendly and was always willing to help me with anything I needed during my stay. A special mention to Oran, one of the staff there who was very warm, friendly and helpful, offering me plenty of practical advice and suggestions about things to do in Istanbul as it was my first time there. Highly recommended this place!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ragip Pasha Apartments. The location was ideal, right in the heart of Istanbul, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant culture and history. The building itself exuded a charming historical character that added a special touch to my experience. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a restful haven after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Istanbul.

One downside I encountered during my stay at Ragip Pasha Apartments was the frequent road closures in the vicinity, which made it challenging for taxis to reach the front door of the hotel. This occasionally required a bit of a walk to catch a ride, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

ULTRA ULTRA prime location, in the begininng of Istiklal street too near to taksim square and metro station, many friends booked in other hotels but when they came and saw my location they said am very lucky with this hotel, thanks Mr Yasser and stuff for kind support and hospitality, hope to visit Istanbul again and will be as my home.

The room is clean and wide, had a double bed room with a sofa bed that fits 2 … bed and pillows very comfy, hot water and heating available, clean bathroom with towels, shampoo, soap and shower gel. Hair dryer is also available. Would be back again? Yes !

No car parking… basically not recommended to drive in istiklal str area and around, faced many difficulties bcz of that.

From 2021 till 2024, every year i travel to istanbul and stay in Ragip paşa hotel, its the most amazing place to stay among all hotels in istanbul , specially this year , where we meet Dinçer Buyan, the receptionest , he helped us in everything, i totally recommend this hotel , its worthyy , i highly recommend it 🙏

The location was perfect. All the staff were extremely friendly and supportive. We would like to thank each and every one of this fantastic team, especially to Orhan on reception who was very nice and very knowledgeable about Istanbul. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return in the future!

Everything was great, especially their personal, very friendly, kind and helpful. We asked to change our room to have a better view and in a minute our request was satisfied. Definitely recommend it!♥️

Location and very clean. they gave us an upgrade in the first 2 days because they made a mistake they booked our room for another person but in the end they give us royal room with big balcony wich was nice

I cannot thank the hotel manager enough for his hospitality. After a very difficult arrival to Turkey, he let me know that if I needed anything at all, he was there - and went above and beyond on this promise on numerous occasions. The location was also great and rooms were clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. Truly could not have had a better place to stay during my week in Istanbul.
