The room was very comfortable and it served as a great jumping off point to a number of great neighborhoods. Additionally, the Cihangir neighborhood is so fascinating- great shops and fabulous restaurants !! And the hotel manager was extremely friendly and his recommendations are GOLD!!

While the space in the room was stylistically arranged and offered a number of amenities, it was tight and I was just one person; I can’t imagine how cramped it would feel with a second.

Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants. The terrace was the best part! Great view of the city with privacy. Perfect for a solo traveler.

Bathroom was pretty small and ceilings were fairly low.

The host was great, he was very helpful and managed to meet all our needs. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The area is lovely.

Nothing to complain about, the first room didn't have a washing machine but the host was nice and responsive and moved us to another bigger room for free the day after!

Very central and lively location, but at the same time we did not hear any noise from outside. It’s nicely decorated, spacious, has everything you might need during the short stay. Communication with stuff also was nice and they were very helpful

It definitely need some renovation, some things were broken. It was not sparkling clean and rather cold in there

The images of the patio space are not what you will get with your room.

This is not a standard hotel, so don’t there is no 24-hour reception desk. This is a home away from home. For getting to know a city, this is much better, in my mind. Enes, the manager who checked us in, is often in the reception office across the tiny street from the apartment we stayed in, and when he wasn’t in the office, he was available by WhatsApp and phone any time. His English is fantastic, so he understood all the questions we had, and he was full of good information about what things to do around Istanbul, how much they should cost, and how to get there. He was as helpful as any concierge I’ve come across, and super friendly. He even had a Metro card for us to borrow during our stay. Even though it is called a suite, it is really a tiny apartment or convenience, complete with a kitchenette, which we used. Everything we needed was there, and Enes seemed to have anything else we might have needed. Including a ball pump for my son’s football. It was also very nicely decorated with modern conveniences, and yet with enough Turkish flare to remind us we were in Turkey. It felt very warm and local. We stayed in a one-bedroom flat, which included a sofa that pulled out into a double bed, and a little balcony overlooking the street. But, do ask about their other rooms, which includes a two bedroom flat with a large terrace and beautiful view. The neighborhood is also very sweet. There are definitely tourists and expats about, but they seem to be the more independent, locally-oriented travelers. Plenty of nice cafes and interesting shops around, but none of the touristy Knick knacks, or tour touts. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the Galata Bridge, and a 5 minute walk to the Galata pedestrian mall. All in all, I totally recommend MySuite.

Really, nothing. But the building is old, and the floor is a little rough (he gave us slippers, which we didn’t need). Just beware, especially if you have little kids. My elementary school kids loved it.

Enes was at the office ready to greet us, he made us coffee and we had a friendly chat which made us feel very welcome after our journey to Istanbul. He kindly upgraded our room so we had a slightly larger space than expected for no extra cost. We had everything we needed in the apartment and Enes was readily available to offer advice and tips for our stay.

The apartment's main room was a little chilly, although in fairness it was probably unusually cold when we stayed. Maybe a blanket for relaxing on the sofa at the end of the day for this time of year might be nice.

Apartment spacious, location great, near taksim Square and the shopping area. Close to tram and the port should you wish to take a ferry to prince's Island. Staff attentive, Enes was very helpful. We were greated with turkish coffe and there were fruits and water in the Fridge. They also provide with istanbul cars which was very thoughtful.

Pictures are misleading, especially the view from the balcony completely untrue, certainly not from the location where we stayed. Basic kitchenware missing, no cutlery or plates. They recommended some restaurants but absolutely not worth going to.

The apartment is on the 5th floor in a very nice location, bang in the middle of a neighborhood with lot of restaurants, shopping etc. The apartment is smaller size, and you have to walk up 5 floors as there is no lift but the terrace outside the room more than makes up for it. The views are spectacular and you can see a lot of the major old town attractions from the terrace. Day and night, both offer amazing views. Check in was a breeze, Enes was very helpful and shared useful information that helped us plan our itinerary in Istanbul. There is a tram station close by (5-10 min) walk that takes you to all the major attractions. All in all, an excellent stay.

Nothing, all good. Not for people who have trouble climbing stairs.

1) Good location; T1 tram is just a few minutes walking distance away and can take you to most of the must-see places at the Old Town, 2) Many hippy and nice eateries / cafes nearby, 3) Away from the chaotic tourist crowds so you get a little bit of quaint and local feels, 4) host Enes is friendly and always helpful

The location is at uphill but it’s Istanbul where everywhere has staircase or at slopes. Furnitures are a bit tired. Room is not very soundproof.
