Spacious room with a great bathroom and little things that make you feel special. View was of Galata Tower and a peek at the Bosphorus. Bed was comfortable and aircon worked in the hot summer weather. Rooftop view is great and can be enjoyed with a glass of wine or coffee from downstairs. Yes, it’s on a hill. Hence the view. Walking distance to Karakoy and across the bridge to tourist Mecca. Also can walk to Taksim square. Many little boutiques around the corner and down the hill to explore local craftsmanship. Breakfast was in the lobby seating area. Hot food can be ordered and coffee made to your liking.

There are no words to describe, this hotel, all of the best, are (as my 2nd stay here): ***** Location most sights close and walkable and easy to use local transportation to go where you like, ***** Room 42, spacious, facilities available, small design details, view day-night, tip the elevator, you will have to discover ***** Breakfast, anything you need is there and if not, you can order by staff, as they try and do their best, from all positions either reception - recommendations, either housekeeping Of course, I will choose it again, for next time too.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and a girl who served it was nice. It is a modern new place in a nice vibrant area full of shops and cozy cafes.

Take into account that it is a hilly area and elder people or people with health problems can be challenged by this.

Very well situated, within walking distance to the main sightseeing areas. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and the breakfast is a little Turkish breakfast feast! Our corner room (king size) was spacious with a little kitchenette and a good view onto the old town. The little rooftop area is an added plus and nice space to sit and watch the buzzing waterways below. All recommendation by the staff for restaurants, hammam etc, where spot on!!

The rooftop area could be even more comfortable with a few cushions or lounge furniture.

We had the most spectacular room (Presidential suite) and view of Istanbul’s from the huge balcony. Every day, the room was flooded with the warm winter sun and we just spent hours watching the beautiful city, the sun set behind Galata Tower. The facilities and comfort of the room were unparalleled. The hotel is a steep walk up from the Main Street , but it’s hardly 300mtrs and you find yourself thick in the action with Galataport right there. Breakfast was very healthy and we liked that it’s a small hotel so very calm during breakfast time.

The hotel and staff were as we expected. They were extremely helpful. The only suggestion I would make is for them to have a more rounded list of suggested restaurants at different price points. It is great to have fine dining but it would have been nice if they would have suggested a few reasonably priced places as well. P.S. The hill up to the hotel is no joke but we felt like it provided good exercise so we didn't mind it. Overall, it was an excellent stay at a boutique hotel close to everything.

Maybe a happy hour time around sunset would have been nice.

Spacious, comfortable and very clean suite. Attitude of staff - all very friendly and helpful. Good choice and quality of food at breakfast. Roof terrace had amazing views.

We booked a suite with a balcony on booking.com's website. When we arrived, our room did not have a balcony. It was a French Balcony (railings across the French Doors) which we were unable to sit out on - very disappointing. We queried this immediately - the staff member we spoke to said that this has happened before with Booking.com. We were offered a room with a balcony to sit out on for 3 of our 6 nights (due to availability) for an extra 240 euros per night. The terrace needs more tables and chairs. There is a very steep hill from the tram stop to the suites.

The design and size of the room were amazing! Knowing this was the former Turkish headquarters for Ogilvy and Mather, the setting gave off "Mad Men" vibes. The server at breakfast was attentive and friendly. Staff were helpful. I would recommend staying here again in the future - it is a bit more off the beaten path location wise, but having stayed in Istanbul before in a more tourist-central location, this was perfectly suited for our needs. The rooftop views were stunning.

The breakfast could have included a bit more Turkish specialities. They would run out of items and not replenish.

Amazing super clean suites and wonderful views of the city from the fifth floor suite. Cozy rooftop. Delicious breakfast and super attentive staff. Ozan in particular made our stay awesome!

Our only complaint is that the bed was not very comfortable- a simple mattress topper would do wonders. Also there is a huge hill to climb from the nearest tram station but it’s a good workout and worth it for the views!

Love this boutique hotel. In a great area of Istanbul , 5 stops in tram from the square with most tourist attractions. Nice to be out of the business. We had a lovely spacious suite, lovely furniture, lots of big windows and an amazing view. Breakfast and staff were lovely.

Not that I didn’t like it…… but he warned the hill to get to the hotel is ‘short but very steep ‘ not for the faint hearted but good exercise!
