The staff were generous with their time and very helpful, a special thank you to Saba😊 The linen was clean, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the room was a very good size, basic tea and coffee facilities, shower was very good ie hot water was reliable and good water pressure, there is an elevator, there were options to put your bags somewhere. The location was excellent only a few steps from Tophane tram stop and a 10 minute walk to Galata Tower and Karakoy. Close to a supermarket and very good cafe on the corner as well as other restaurants etc less than 5min walk.

The biggest drawback is being able to hear guests in the next room, no problem if they are quiet but one fellow talked on the phone late into the night which was annoying, a clock in the room would be nice, the basin was cracked so drops of water escaped onto the floor.

Location at is best!! Walking distance to Galata port, Galata Tower, Galata Bridge, Taksim Square and Karaköy. Tophane (T1) Tram station is just outside the hotel if you’re going to Sultanahmet area to visit Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia & Grand Bazaar. There’s also a bus stop station outside of the hotel if you are planning to get somewhere else. I felt safe while staying for 3 days in this hotel.

Hotel rooms are not soundproof, you can still hear noises from outside and hallway.

Great location that allows to get to many points of interest by walking or a few stops by tram. The personnel, Murad and Ibrahim, are very professional and always helpful.

Palestinians neighbors were a bit too enthusiastic in their graffiti and behavior.

Location was great. Tophane has a nice vibe about it. Very handy for the Metro and Bus. Morat on the desk couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The balcony was our favourite.

Location was excellent. Very close to tram. No uphill road to get to the hotel. Staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. Excellent Wi-Fi in all areas of the hotel.

We had two rooms. There were no duvet covers on the comforters and the linen and towels were dirty. After two days we complained at the reception. They were very apologetic and immediately got our rooms and linen in order. The cleaning lady needs to be trained. She is our only complaint. We missed Breakfast, but hotel does not offer it. I suggest it should be added.

We enjoyed our stay at Waw hotel, the room was nice and clean, we had everything we needed available to us and if not we could ask for it at the reception. The staff were very nice as well and the location was perfect. We were far enough from all the noisy areas and yet very close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The room also had blackout blinds which helped with getting better sleep.

During our stay the hotel had an issue with wifi so we ended up not having it for roughly 3 days which wasn’t a huge issue but still wasn’t very nice. The staff did keep us updated on how the fixing went so we don’t have many complaints.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious compared to what we imagined and compared to the price we paid. The room was very clean. Essentials from towels, tea, coffee, and shower gel were available.The location is great, is just a few minutes walk to the Tram station, Bus station, and New GalataPort mall.

At first, the neighborhood seemed a bit weird, but we got used to it and it is very safe.

the photos of the hotel on the booking.com are much more attractive than hotel is in reality. also it was written that breakfast is available but it is not.

It was a perfect hotel, excellent location,exceptional and cooperative staff, especially Murat and Eysi on the reception they were very helpful and patient with the guests, ,by far this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stay in Istanbul felt like home, thanks also to the house keeping staff especially Sabah they were polite ladies, i needed help regarding a missing part for my smartphone Murat and Eysi did their best to assist me finding it, thank you for a wonderful stay,definitely will be back to this hotel in my next visit to Istanbul.

The city views from the 6th floor were spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel was situated in a quiet neighborhood and close to all modes of transport. I definitely won't hesitate to return to this hotel.

There is no breakfast served at this hotel, but they do have an app to order food from the hotel room.
