Very helpful staff at the reception , the facilities are clean very well designed , and the location is very good close to everything !

The personnel at the Spa and The hamam treatment !! Unprofessional staff , not near value for money an unpleasant experience that almost ruined our day :/ Don’t choose the ottoman hamam expensive option ITS A SCAM extra money for nothing . They didn’t even ask if we have any health problems that they should be aware of , they weren’t even professional therapists they only cared about taking the money the moment you step in « hello how would you like to pay ? » very sad and unexpected for a hotel like this .. hope they improve

it was my first time in Istanbul, the choice was hard, but I didn’t regret it to stay in this hotel; since the first day everyone was kind to us especially Jawad and Barq and the rest who I don’t recall their names. great location next to Lebanese delicious restaurant few steps from Galata Tower and Galata port mall. the Spa, swimming pool and the gym are wonderful. The suite we stayed in was spacious and shining.

The lighting in the room was particularly relaxing, and the shower was lovely. The staff on reception were wonderful and the hotel had a nice calming feel to it, which is just what we needed after a day in the city.

On most days the housekeeping didn't replace things in the room like tea bags, cups, drinking glasses, shower gel etc and I regularly needed to remind reception that we were without these things which got a little frustrating. Unfortunately the steam room and the jacuzzi were out of action for the whole of our stay which was very disappointing as the spa was one of the main reasons for booking the hotel.

Location is great for a first time tourist to Istanbul. Walking distance to many restaurants, the modern art museum, and Galata Tower. Also the tram stop is so close! Helpful front desk staff and a lovely spa.

It is a really beautiful hotel. I had a large double room with plenty of space for one night and then joined a friend in a twin room for the rest of the week. The twin room was a bit tight but still comfortable and had everything you might need.

Great location and recently renovated building. Good traditional Turkish breakfast offering. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Good sound proofing from the street noise. Pool was amazing and had a small kids pool which was great. Location was great - right in front is the tram which takes you to most of the attractions, plenty of cute streets pockets around and close to the Galata Port which has a great sea view and upmarket dining and shopping. Street itself is quite dirty, but thats just Istanbul for you!

Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities somehow quiet right on the main drag of Karakoy, convenient to shops, restaurants, and the tram. Staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming.

The rooms are quiet, but there is no ambient sound, so if you are staying with someone and they need to use the bathroom or snore, everything is heard. This is also the case for hearing neighbors enter and exit their rooms. The shower and bathroom are encased in opaque glass, which means that when you turn the light on in one, the room is illuminated. This is problematic if your roommate is sleeping and there is no way to avoid it.

Review for Burdock Hotel, Istanbul I cannot recommend Burdock Hotel in Istanbul highly enough! From the moment we arrived, every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional stay. Whether it was the front desk, the concierge, or the spa staff, everyone was incredibly attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous—exquisitely decorated with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The attention to detail in the design made it a truly luxurious experience. The location is unbeatable! It’s within walking distance to a ton of amazing restaurants and less than a block from the tram station. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city, including Sultanahmet, the Grand Bazaar, the port, and so many other must-see attractions. If you’re looking for a beautiful hotel with outstanding service and a prime location, Burdock Hotel is the place to stay in Istanbul! I can’t wait to return.

I loved everything!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—very close to tourist attractions and public transportation. The hotel is clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Check-in was quick, and I was even given my room before the official check-in time. Highly recommended!

The only thing I didn’t like was that the sink was not inside the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, but it’s something I could overlook. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel.

The best and friendliest reception team in town. Came as a guest and left as a friend. Really a great experience. Thanky you. ;)

Location, friendly staff

City room is very noisy specially at night as windows r not sound proof. No parking in front of hotel. Safety (2 times the staff opened the door on us although do not disturb was on) once early morning and one at noon. Bathroom not practical at all
