The location is fantastic, the tram station Tophane right in front of the hotel. Also the ferry to the Asian side is just a quick walk away. The hotel staff (especially Emre and Aslan) was very helpful and dedicated. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms tidy and we enjoyed a full Turkish breakfast on the terrace in the sun.

You should know that there is a cocktail bar (with music) in the ground floor. And a Mosque with frequent muezzin calls is opposite of the Hotel. But hey, that is Istanbul.

The hotel met my preference, the location is at outskirt of the city center, very peaceful area, there are restaurants, cafes and bars behind the hotel, a nice place to chill out. Near to galata mall by the bosphorus, a super nice place to hang out. Convenience store also nearby I love the peaceful Azan. Tips- Taksim - take the Tram near the hotel to Karakoy 11lira and take Tunel to Taksim 23lira, smooth down hill back to hotel. or you can climb up the hill and have smooth down hill back to hotel Aya Sophia - take the Tram near the hotel to Sultanahmet Grand bazaar - Beyezit Grand Spices - eminonu Topkapi Palace - Gulhane These popular places are all about 50 meters to each other, you can stop at one of these and walk. Use 1 time entry ticket (11 lira) The hotel also arrange trip for boat tour, and many more activities and site visits. Room is as published, we rented the 25m square fit room size which is good enough for two pax. Hot water functioning very good Heater functioning Any problem, Cihat the hotel owner is ready to response.

the lift was not working on our last day in Istanbul, but its fine. Im sure the hotel will perform maintenance check of its room and facilities from time to time.

Well, I used to stay here few times. Two times the guy at the reseption was really great. He was friendly, helped me with taxi, services, etc. best service. Onse another guy was grummy who rejected to help me with anything. Gues, it was a bad mood.

Well, the flor carpets to be replased. 100%. No issues with other stuf, its ok more or less, but the flor carpets a terrible.

The staff was very friendly and helpful; they even helped us a few times and got us some taxis, because none of them was accepting on Uber. The location is perfect, in Karakoy, which is very central and perfect to walk around, as there is the tram station exactly outside of the hotel. Our breakfast was room service type, since they were renovating the kitchen and the restaurant. Besides all, the quality-price report is amazing, one of the cheapest hotels I have stayed in istanbul at, and one of the best for the price and for what we needed for a short stay in Istanbul. If it is your first time in Istanbul, I could recommend staying in Sultanahmet, as it easier to reach the main attractions, but for me, this hotel will be added to my lists and will be remembered for when I am back.

It is not a tragic happening, but we were not announced that the breakfast would be room serviced. However, they brought us enough food for two people(I also appreciated the constant water bottles in the room, which were very helpful on such a heat). The only inconvenient was the door, which would break easily off the wall if forced, but again, for a short trip, that was not a big problem and we did not feel unsafe just because of this. Most probably, if we had gone to the reception, they would have changed our room, but we did not feel the need to.

Lift))) It was important for because of breaking leg. It was enough comfortable with cratches. Clean, comfortable and carefully.

First day they don’t wait me for the breakfast. I have to wait for an hour. This day it was not so important, but mostly I like to start day early.

Best location. 50 meters to the mainstream station link directly to Grand Bazar, Aghia Sofia, Faith and everything. 50 meters to the trendy Galata Port. 5 minutes walk to the pier for water us link to Asia.

Perfect location, very close to Tophane station which has connection to all touristic sites in the town. Really liked the receptionists, very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable

In my experience (4 times in Istanbul) this hotel location is the best in Istanbul! Just around the corner are wonderful, fairy lit streets with lovely buzzing cafes, bars and restaurants. The best baklava in Istanbul, called Karaköy Güllüoğlu - is just a 2 min walk away!

The breakfast on the first day which was simple Turkish breakfast on a plate. We mentioned it wasn’t a ‘good breakfast’ how it’s listed on their ad and from the next day there was a buffet with more food including fruit. Still needed more variety food.
