This hotel offers real touch of Istanbul spirit 👍🏻. All rooms in the hotel are dedicated to Sultans, each lived a legendary life . The staff I met here are very hospitable. Aref is exceptionally helpful in arranging my limousine service which made my journey from / to airport very seamless and comfortable 👍🏻. The car is of superb class and delicate Islamic design , wonderful . I must mention that the location of the hotel is exceptional convenient , just outside Sishane Station ( Refik Saydam Cad exit) with escalator service 👍🏻. Galanta Tower is just 5 mins walk away. There are many nice restaurants, museums in the vicinity. Surprisingly I find that the Jewish Museum of Turkyie is just fall on the way to Galanta Tower. This is indeed a location with Islamic, Jewish and Christian heritage. Daru Sultan Hotel offers all … I highly recommend !

Excellent location, room decoration (impressive TV/mirror combo), and the personnel serving breakfast was so kind and helpful. The view from the top floor restaurant was very impressive.

I would have preferred breakfast buffet rather than given food that I would not eat; but, it was of good quality and quantity.

Everything was great - the room was big enough, everything looked very fancy in our room (with golden chandelier and golden taps on the sink). The location is awesome - only a couple of minutes walk to Galata Tower, 10-15 mins walk to the tram which brings you on the other side of the city. The staff was super friendly! And the breakfast was good too, you will never stay hungry, many options to choose. I’d definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Istanbul!

The door to the toilet and a shower is made of glass and did not close till the end - no privacy :) But we were ok with that, it did not really disturb either me or my family member.

Looks just like the pictures the room was perfect especially the view over the river. I didn’t make it to breakfast but I’m sure it would have been yummy! Would definitely stay there again. Great location and easy to walk around.

I had the pleasure of staying at Daru Sultan Hotel Galata during my recent trip to Istanbul, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The location is ideal, just steps away from the iconic Galata Tower and a short walk to Istiklal Street, offering easy access to Istanbul’s vibrant cafes, shops, and historic attractions. The hotel is also well-connected to public transport, making it effortless to explore both the European and Asian sides of the city. The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and truly committed to ensuring that my stay was perfect. They were always ready to assist with everything from restaurant recommendations to transportation tips, and their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop breakfast. The spread was absolutely delightful, featuring fresh pastries, local cheeses, olives, and Turkish tea, complemented by a variety of international options. What made it truly special was the breathtaking view of the Golden Horn and the historic skyline. Watching the city wake up from such a serene spot was unforgettable. Daru Sultan Hotel Galata perfectly blends luxury, comfort, and an unbeatable location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul, and I can’t wait to return for another stay!

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay for anybody who would like to soak up something of the traditional Ottoman atmosphere with all the associated standard of service. Chandeliers and paintings. We had a large room with high ceiling and a beautiful view over a part of the Bosphorus. The lobby was large with many armchairs where you could settle in and relax. The staff and particularly the reception staff and porter and cleaning staff were really very helpful, smiling, professional and efficient. The breakfast on the top floor of the building was really wonderful and of a large variety as you sat and looked out over the panorama of the city. Location is particularly good since the hotel is located on the corner of a wider road with a metro entrance immediately in front of the hotel doors. We took a taxi directly from the international Airport, but you could also take the metro if you don’t have a lot of baggage and so save money. There is a small supermarket nearby on the main road side of the hotel and a cheaper restaurant, among others, that is on the stairs further up towards the main shopping street. And Galata tower and the Tunel historical rack railway downhill towards the bridge to Sultanahmet is not far away from there. A great experience for travellers for the price and romantic place for a couple. We hope to stay there again.

Our room had a great outlook and the hotel is close to the Galata tower, Metro, and many interesting shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a varied buffet served on the top floor with an excellent view. Sadly the air-conditioning had failed just prior to our arrival. To their credit, the hotel informed us in advance, offered us a change of room and a discount. We chose to stay in the original room and found the cooling fan to be adequate. Good communication by the hotel.

The hotel was on a busy corner and there was some traffic noise on the Saturday night. We slept through it.

Fabulous location, with excellent public transport connections to every district using the intanbultravel card. All the staff were superb, recommending local highlights and restaurants , checking the best routes, helping with our daily plans and they organised airport transfers for us. Nothing was too much trouble! Everyone was wonderful but to call out Harken and Aref, thanks for everything you did for us. The rooms are authentically decorated in ottoman style with each room themed with a different Sultan’s story , which was a nice touch. our room had amazing views of the Golden Horn and the 6th Floor terrace (for breakfast) has stunning views of Galata , old town , Golden Horn and including most of the Mosques. It’s a ten minute walk from the main bustling street (shopping, bar and restaurant area which has fabulous atmosphere), just 5 mins walk from Galata Tower.

Breakfast was great especially if you eat meat but we were a little limited as vegetarians (fruit Choice could be improved). Would have also been great to have vegetarian sausages or omelette instead of cheese and boiled eggs every day but this is no different to most European hotels. It didn’t spoil our trip or stay, and we would stay there again 100%.

The staff were super, trying their best to make our stay comfortable. They responded very quickly to all our requests. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked two rooms, one with fabulous Golden Horn view. Breakfasts taken on roof top terrace with panoramic views have plenty of choice for different needs. Location is excellent with options of street food down the road towards Galata tower, lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Beyoglu is an area where you can find interesting, independent shops on atmospheric, narrow streets and alleys.

The room is a little bit small.
