Our stay at Galata M84 was fantastic. The rooms and facilities are excellent, very spacious and comfortable. The staff was great, very cordial and helpful. Huge thanks to Murat, Hassan, Ali, Ziya, and everyone else (my apologies if I didn't remember your name :) ) The location is simply excellent, short walking distance from Sishane metro station, Tünel (to Karakoy), Galata tower, and Istiklal street. Pharmacies, shops, mini markets, cafes, and restaurants are all a very short walking distance.

Everything was great. We will definitely be staying here again.

Location was very central in the tourist part of the city, very easy to walk to nearby attractions, restaurants, bars and the metro. The reception team was helpful and courteous.

There was no air conditioning, the weather was chilly so it was not a huge concern, but lack of air flow, made us crack the windows at night for ventilation, the street noise was considerable. The room was overall nice, but could you use a fresh coat of paint and some deep cleaning. The shower pressure was not great. The hotel definitely needs to upgrade their door locks to key card instead of physical keys, which were difficult to keep track of.

This apartment was absolutely fantastic. Very architectural. Spacious. Great furniture. The staff were really helpful. The location was perfect.

Probably common to all hotel accommodation in Istanbul but the place always smelt a little bit of cigarette smoke. It started off quite bad…as if the room cleaner had been smoking in it or previous guests. Even the furniture and towels smelt of smoke. It got a little better after a few days. We put a towel across the door of our room in case it was coming in from the hallway. Unfortunately these are the current rules across Istanbul. It seems everyone including the hotel staff smoke too. People are allowed to smoke in the accommodation. Very hard to understand for us Australians.

This hotel is ideally located and just minutes away from the funicular and tram which takes you to the Old Town and all the tourist attractions. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Our Apartment was spacious and extremely comfortable and daily cleaning was included (which was a bonus). The staff are extremely pleasant and always willing to help with any questions we had - we will be back!

The only negative was the noise at night. Istanbul is an extremely crowded city and our room fell onto the main road so there was lots of noise from the traffic during the night. You could perhaps ask for a room that does not fall onto the main road.

Great location. Uber is super easy to get around or the metro stop is a couple of 100m away. A lot of reviews comment on the noise from street; It really wasn't very noticeable (could be that we were floor 3 however), but bring ear plugs if you a light sleeper. There is a good Chinese/sushi place opposite, and an Irish style bar a few doors away. Pharmacy opposite. 5 mins walk from Galata tower. Tips: bring your own coffee sachets if you don't like 3-in-1 Nescafe. There was a cafetiere, so bring your own ground coffee. A few tea bags and sugar lumps.

The flat is lovely and tastefully furnished. Spacious with a good kitchen and dining table, a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine - always a bonus! There is a good lift in the building so luggage not a problem. The reception has staff on duty 24hs a day. The flat is very close to many attractions and surrounded by restaurants and shops.

The area is noisy and busy until very late. Sound insulation could be improved.

Galata M84 made our Istanbul stay unforgettable. The location is ideal - it's right beside a subway stop and very close to the funicular. It's also located in a street full of restaurants and stores, and just a few meters away from Istiklal Street. Our apt was spacious, stylish, and very clean, with thoughtful amenities and comfortable beds. Easy to use washing machine was a plus! Majority of the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooftop terrace is a gem. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Istanbul and would definitely stay here again.

While our stay at Galata M84 was generally pleasant, we found the first receptionist we encountered a bit cold and unfriendly, which impacted the warm welcome we expected. But he was just one and the 4 others were so nice and helpful. We could also hear the loud noise from the streets all night. Maybe the apartments need better soundproofing.

This a large apartment considering the traditional hotel options in the same price point. The location was perfect for access to the metro, funicular, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. I would highly recommend staying here. We didn't use the kitchen so can't speak to the quality of the equipment but it is ample to entertain.

Stop pumping the floral air freshener in the hall, it was nauseating. If you were trying to cover the smoking smell it just mixes with it and is worse than the smoke smell alone.

The location is perfect with tens of restaurants around and a metro station opposite the building The size of the apartment and rooms is big The availability of all amenities and the daily cleaning facility was very helpful Simply it felt like our own home

The noise coming from the street was annoying although we were in the fourth floor but we could hear the noise especially from cars. It’ll would be good if the owner fix the noise isolation in the windows

The location is absolutely perfect, the tube station is right across the road, the tunnel train station is just up the stairs, pretty nice restaurants and cafes are also right outside the door. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, also available 24 hours a day. The view from our Junior Suite terrace was amazing!

The area the hotel is in is pretty happening, which is good on the one hand but isn’t so great if you actually want to sleep well at night :) Our bedroom windows were pretty old, the living room had newer ones, so it wasn’t as noisy. Some blackout curtains for the bedroom would also be great.
