It seems that the hotel has been recently renovated. I had a large room with an excellent view to Galata and Golden Horn mosques. The bed was very comfortable. There was really everything to have a comfortable staying for one week. Unfortunately, I stayed one night only and could not appreciate the bar on the rooftop and spa facilities. A decent traditional Turkish breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant. The staff was welcoming and spoke good English.

The only thing I did not like was a leakage in the shower probably it was not well fixed. It was spreading over the cabinet and as a result there was quite a lot of water on the floor after showering. Room 602.

The location is excellent. Directly on the Sisane metro station and the little square in front of it. One can go from the metro station to the hotel and will need only a small walk to the Taksim main Street. The room was big and comfortable. I had a nice view on the square.

The door couldn't be locked from inside and the door's isolation was terrible. I could hear all people passing by and speaking near the lift. The safe didn't work. A pity I couldn't drink a coffee on the terrace restaurant upstairs - all booked according to staff for dinner only. I actually was looking forward to it when booking.

The location of this residence is perfect for us, touristic area but not so noisy, subway station right in front and the fact that we can keep the car parked while we stay in the city. The view from the 7 th floor is spectacular. Good value for money.

Parking had a cost that we were not aware of. There are many signs, not all good, that ownership change since our last visit in 2022. The breakfast that used to be an option from 5-6 types of meals, was transformed in a sole option that was not so good and the coffee is really bad.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in the spring 2024. Firstly, the location is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Istanbul, it provided easy access to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff was very accommodating and responsive. They provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and were always available to answer any questions. Overall, my stay at Tunel Residence Pera do nice. The combination of an excellent location, modern amenities, and outstanding hospitality made it a memorable experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul..

The reception staffs are all accomodating, i forgot to get their names but all of them are nice. The rooms were superb. Very clean and spacious and perfect for families. Location is also perfect, in between galata and taksim. Everything is a walking distance.

Since the breakfast is at a restaurant beside the hotel, it wasnt a buffet breakfast setting. They serve you ala carte meal. Menu is the same everyday.

The courtesy at Reception, especially Con and the supporting staff is comendable.

We were not at All satisfied with Breakfast options. It's very basic. For a Hotel of Good repute, this is the most Negative aspect of Tunel Hotel. Some of the the waiters are not at all respectful. If we ask butter for bread they say Extra. I am yet to come across a Hotel of repute who doesn't serve butter with bread. Pan cakes are given with Chocolate. I asked take away chocolate and give me Jam. They said jam will cost extra. It is really stupid. A Tourist who stays at Tunel can afford to pay 15Tl for butter but why pay for replacing Jam with Chocolate ?? Big Chef must be ordered by Tunel to be more courteous to Hotel guests and coperate with such small requests. In short my sincere advise is breakfast scope should be broadened for better rating of Hotel.

I can’t speak for other rooms, but the room where we lived (on the top floor with a balcony) had such a beautiful view of the city that it completely covered all possible shortcomings. In addition, the hotel is located within excellent walking and transport accessibility from all the best places in the city. metro right at the entrance, the main tourist street with cafes and shops is a 5-minute walk

unfortunately many services offered were not available. swimming pool was very cold. the sauna was not working properly. hamam had low temperature. Breakfast is very modest, with one dish to choose from. The renovation in the room is not the newest. some things did not work, for example some sockets. problems with hot water

I was lucky enough to spend only one night in this hotel and it was great. The friendly and helpful staff greeted me upon my late check-in. The room was very comfortable and large, the breakfast was excellent! And the view from the window to the Galata tower is a special pleasure. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next long-term trip.

The only one thing that was resolved was that there was no Internet in the room in the evening, but it worked well in the morning

The location of the hotel is fantastic; you can reach Galata Tower within 2 minutes, Istiqlal Street within 3 minutes, and Sishane is only 10 seconds away from the hotel. The hotel restaurant, Bigchef, is very delicious. The view from my room (the sea view room) is incredible, with a large balcony. The room service comes every day to clean the room, and the lady is very professional. I booked my ticket for Istanbul in February, and for sure I will be back at the same hotel. All the staff are very kind. The hospitality is incomparable. The location of the hotel is fantastic; you can reach Galata Tower within 2 minutes, Istiqlal Street within 3 minutes, and Sishane metro station is only 10 seconds away from the hotel. The manager gave me 45 minutes after noon to check out without any fees, and they kept my luggage in the hotel for 6 hours without any extra fees. the room needs a little bit of maintenance, And after that, the place will be one of the greatest hotels in Istanbul.

The family room was spacious with great view and everything you may need, there was a small pool and sauna which was very fun for the kids. The reception guy was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was definitely not acceptable and not in the level of the hotel. The restaurant “Big Chefs” was the only downside of the hotel. The number of staff may not be enough to support servicing the guests in the morning. You may need to wait until the end of your breakfast to get a tea for example. The options of the breakfast are very limited with poor quality and no taste, so it is only good to make you full for couple of hours.
