We had an amazing experience during our stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the location was perfect—right next to Istiklal Street. It was incredibly convenient, and at the same time, we felt very safe returning late at night. What was truly remarkable, however, was the outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, always genuinely willing to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend this hotel—it was also excellent value for money!

It’s not big, but cozy and remodeled. It’s warm in the room, the right temperature. The shower is cute and very good water steam. I love the mattress! For my bad back and long flight it’s exactly what I need. The street on which hotel located is small, but the cab was easily able to stop right next to the door. Room smells good and fresh, windows can be opened, there is a smoking area. Front desk assistant was super nice!! He ordered for me food to the room and it was quick, and also he helped with the luggage. Also there are cool restaurants around, safe area to hang out. Oh, they do have elevator. It’s not big, but do work well:) going to try breakfast I’m the morning, cause it’s provided:) the most important, I do feel safe here, traveling along. And about my photos, I’m not professional photographer:))

If you like super quiet place, maybe the city noice will be a little laud for you, but truly, the noice is level 3 from 10. And not bother at all!

This is my second time in this hotel and I love it. The location is amazing just few steps from Istiklal street and 2 minutes to metro station. It’s a walking distance to Galata tower and port. The room is very clean and the towels are changed daily. I enjoyed the turkish breakfast and the fresh baked pastries. And above all the staff are very nice and helpful.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Clean, cozy place, great location, friendly staff. The receptionist Novruz was amazing, gave us a lot of tips and suggestions, spoke perfect russian and english. Thank you!

There were three of us in a spacious room on the top floor. Comfortable beds, large bathroom, we really liked that. We didn't use the balcony much because unfortunately it was cold. Because of the cold we slept with the windows closed so we can't say it was noisy. Maybe in summer. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast simple but ok. Location great. Close to the main busy street, as well as the old part of the city. And definitely very friendly staff, always ready to help and advise

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Kemal (The Man) was great because he spoke fluent English and gave us a lot of insightful information on Istanbul (the do's and don'ts) and made our stay at the Devman quite enjoyable.They accommodated all of our requests (in room coffee, etc) and were very helpful. The Devman for the price served up a great breakfast to get you going for the day and we thought the location was great because it was in an area right next to Istiklal Street (good nightlife) and a stones throw to the Galata Tower. We would definitely stay again!!!

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Devman! The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were happy to assist with anything we needed throughout our stay. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable—we truly appreciated your warmth and hospitality!

The location is very good. Everything is close and it's easy to move around the city. The staff was very friendly and also spoke English quite well. The breakfast was ok, but it could be better. The selection is quite small. Adding some better bread, joghurt and fruits would make it a lot better. Also there where no glasses for juice, only paper cups. The staff was very friendly and they brought more food when needed during the whole breakfast time.

It is a very noisy location, specially during the week-end because there are many bars and restaurants right next to the hotel. With earplugs and a room towards the backyard it was ok.

Staff were super nice and friendly. Specially I had nice talks with "Kemal" which was so nice. The location of the hotel was so great. A nice street with a perfect location in the city. Though lots of restaurant and bars with loud music till 2 AM which was ok to me.

The breakfast could be better. It was good but I expected a bit more options but the most important point was that things like omelet or sausages just left there without anything to keep them warm. So, one day that I went for breakfast 30 min after the starting time, it was already cold which is not so pleasant.

The position of the hotel is great, few minutes walk from main transportation hubs (Şişhane Metro station, Tünel to Karaköy, Tophane station of tram T1). It is nestled in the heart of Beyoğlu, a very lively and commercial area, and it is also quite easy to reach from the Istanbul airport. Staff is nice and helpful, room and common spaces were clean and in good state. Breakfast was good (but with a weak point described below) and I would definitely come back for the price I paid.

The overall experience has been very good, the only improvement I would suggest is the breakfast time. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10am, but until 8.30 you would not find all the food available.
