Good location if you want to be in the middle of Istiklal nightlife. We had the suite with the terrace on the 5th floor, so we had no issues with street noise. But be ware, that is not a quiet street. Neșe kept in touch with us from the second I made the booking until the day we left, making sure that we had everything we needed.

The ac had a mind of its own and couldn't be controlled. Mostly, it didn't bother me, but there was one night that I couldn't sleep because of its noise. The rooms need a little TLC.

The location is right on the Istiklal street, close to everything you might need and right above a very nice Irish pub! The staff were the best part! Very helpful and friendly, and willing to help you with a smile no matter how many questions you ask!

My room was a bit noisy because it was directly above the pub. Booking the rooms on the side of the street can get a bit noisy but nothing too uncomfortable. For light sleepers, I would recommend avoiding the room directly above the pub. my friends were on the higher floors and had no issue with the noise.

Everything was perfect starting from the location of the hotel that exists in the middle of Taksim to the vibe of the hotel that looks cozy. Also The reception staff were kind and helpful.

The only thing we'd like to suggest is to take into consideration the installation of smart TV ( Youtube, spotify , netflix... )

Great location.

Comfortable, but if you want to relax after all day walking this is not your place. There is an Irish pub in the lobby and the music is very loud. It wasn’t problem for me but for some people it can be.

Great location, very generously sized and clean rooms, nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Excellent value for money.

Was noisy outside on the first night as some event was taking place, but otherwise external noise wasn't too loud on other nights. However the air con generator in the room was very loud so I had to turn it off at night. Can sometimes be a little tricky to find hotel staff as the hotel is above a pub and the reception on the first floor is not always manned. The view from the window was just to an internal concrete area - there also seemed to be lots of pigeons in this area which could be heard from inside the room. Bed was large but was two double beds pushed together.

The location is just perfect. For people craving for night life and lots of amusement in the tiny streets and pubs around.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and better equipped.

The location was great! Just keep in mind that asmali mescit it one of the most vibrant allies in the istiklal Street, and therefore, very noisy at night. You would love it if you're a party person and like bar crawling (like us!) or get back to your room after midnight, but if you have difficulty sleeping or wish to go to sleep early, this isn't the place for you! There is a small supermarket that is open till very late and another carrefour within a few steps. The sishane metro station is just across the street (2 minute walk!), and you can easily explore the beyoglu District on foot Our room was bigger than the standard size of central istanbul hotels and had a nice design and decoration. The room was clean, and they had room service every day who cleaned the room, topped up the toiletries and towels (except for our last night - they said you're checking out tomorrow, so no fresh towel for you!) The breakfast was very basic and simple but enough - one boiled egg with some cheese and a few olives, small portions of jam and butter. So if you're looking for big portions of traditional Turkish breakfast, consider going out to have breakfast and skip the hotel breakfast. The staff are very nice with fair command of English - and responsive, of course, for the things that were under they control. They tried to accommodate all of our requests as best as they could.

The air-conditioner didn't work for the whole time of our 6-day stay, which wasn't great. Thankfully, the temperature dropped a bit for the last few days in Istanbul, and we could survive the heat by leaving the window open overnight (but obviously with the noise...) The TV didn't have any audio. We didn't use it that much but noticed that it's mute all the time. I don't mind a dimmed room - I even think the room being a bit dark gave it nicer vibes and made it a bit more romantic. However, if you like very bright rooms, request one. That was not the case for room 43.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. As far as I can tell it was probably very recently renovated and all the furnishings were modern and clean. There is an elevator so no need to lug your heavy bags up the stairs, although sometimes it is very busy. Quite easy to get to from the airport from public transport. Staff was friendly and helpful when I spoke with them

As others have noted, it is very noisy at night but I always travel with earplugs so it wasn't that big of an issue. The name has recently changed so the signage was confusing and I couldn't find the hotel without help from random people on the street, which felt awkward as a non-Turkish speaker

I recently stayed at West Pera Hotel , and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay, ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. The room itself was spotless and provided a level of comfort that exceeded my expectations. What impressed me the most, though, was the soundproofing of the room. Despite being located in a bustling area, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was inside. I couldn't hear a single noise from the outside world, allowing me to enjoy a restful night's sleep undisturbed. Overall, I highly recommend West Pera Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful stay with excellent service from the staff.

The location is one of the greatest for this trip. Lively and with everything you need right at your feet. The room design was impeccable, filled with light and great details, all the amenities provided. The pub is cute and plays amazing songs. The girl at the frontest is the sweetest and everyone provided details to make the stay great. The room has also a desk which helped when neede to work. Highly recommended.

If you want full silence when sleeping that won't happen in the neighborhood in general. It's a great safe neighborhood but it's like a big party. I didn't have problem with that since the hotel has done it's best to soundproof the building.
