I had a great stay at Pera Capitol Hotel in Istanbul. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Istiklal Street and close to many restaurants, shops, and public transport options. It’s perfect for exploring both the historical and modern sides of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made me feel welcome and were always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything I needed. Although breakfast was included, we didn’t manage to catch it as we enjoyed the nearby pubs until morning every day! Luckily, water, tea, and coffee were always available, which was a big help. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pera Capitol to anyone looking for a cozy, well-located hotel in the heart of Istanbul.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location is perfect, just a short walk from Istiklal Avenue, which made it super convenient to explore the city. The staff were absolutely amazing, incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Their warm welcome really made us feel at home. The cleanliness was impeccable. Everything was spotless, from the room to the common areas. The breakfast was goo, simple but sufficient, I’d give it an 8/10. It had enough variety to start the day right. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

I liked the location most. It was a short walk to the incline, near a lot of bars and right off of the main shopping street. If you want to be in a quiet area this is not for you. The place is very dated, but has a fridge, elevator and the staff were nice.

The walls are very thin, someone in other room seemed to never go out - tv on a lot. Breakfast could benefit with more western variety included. The lighting in bathroom obviously designed by a man. Can’t see to put makeup on. They need a bright white light over mirror in addition to existing single light in bathroom.

The hotel location is great (close to the Sishane metro station and pretty close to Karakoy). The hotel staff are amazingly nice people. There is also a cute and friendly cat. The breakfast was perfect for my taste. Clean room. I saw some comments from different travelers about the noise. Well, not sure you can find something quiet in this neighborhood, especially in the weekends. Maybe you consider different neighborhood if this is the issue.

The hotel is very central, very good location with lots of options to eat, have a drink, or public transport. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. For the friendly price, you get a lot of quality! The hotel staff is also very nice and the breakfast has wide selection of everything! I would definitely return here!

I personally did not have a problem with it, but there’s a lot of nice coming from the street in the night. If you are a light sleeper, then it might be a little bit annoying.

This was a great stay, with amenities exceeding the price paid. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast provided was good - a variety of breads, hot dishes, and veggies.

Overall, noise was an issue. I could always hear people in the hallway/I'm sure people could hear me in my room, which made it not feel super private. Additionally, while the location is great, on Saturday night there was very loud noise from the streets past 3am - I think they could benefit form better insulated windows/doors to make things feel more private.

I planned a short trip to Istanbul and stayed at this hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom too. The soundproofing was excellent. Even though there are bars and restaurants in the alley, when you close the window you can't hear the noise. The hotel staff is distinguished for its excellent service, always smiling and kind, willing to help with anything you need. I will definitely preffer it again!!

Everything you need in the perfect location to explore Istanbul. The location is excellent, on a really cute street and walking distance to dining options, attractions and transport (even if you have big bags). Bonus it has a lift! The room and bed were comfortable and the shower was great. Really clean room. A great breakfast and the people that work there are lovely and very helpful. Great value for money. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it.

Unbetable in terms of quality-price. You won't find a better place in Galata for this price. The location is just perfect with all the restaurants and pubs nearby. The room is super clean and tidy and the staff is amazing (they helped me a lot with a lost luggage from the airline). Also the breakfast is really great (buffet) with western and Turkish dishes. 100% recommended

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. The hotel is at a central location, shops, restaurants and public transport are really close. Good value for the money.

It didn't bother me personally, but if you're a light sleeper it might be good to know that there's quite a lot of noise from outside and you can hear the people in the room next to you talk.
