We had a weeks stay at Upside apartments and it was perfect for our needs. First of all Vera who deals with all the communication is an absolute gem. Ensuring the app for the key worked, also leaving a physical key card as requested. Unfortunately, as we were leaving the lift had to be worked on and Vera was straight over to help with cases and it was very much appreciated. The flat was spotless, bed comfy and the air con a much needed delight. We were concerned it may be noisy as the street below is extremely busy but the soundproofing is superb. I have recommended the apartment to friends visiting in September and would have no hesitation in booking again. Thanks for a wonderful week.

- Fantastic location, lots of food just downstairs and they close quite late if you want supper - Check-in and out were done easily with an app, very convenient! - Apartment had a modern design - Lift available - Washer/dryer, iron, hairdryer, smart TV worked great - Nearest transport is a tram just 1 minute away that takes you to Taksim Square, or walk 10 minutes to the nearest metro/bus stop

- Shower water pressure was poor :( - The bathroom ventilator, when switched on (same switch as lights), was extremely noisy (just ensure you switch it off before sleep) - Shampoo & shower gel bottles were a little faulty on the pumps

5-Star Review for Our Stay We had an amazing 4-night stay at this apartment! The location is absolutely central, making it easy to explore the city and access all the key attractions. The apartment itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. A special mention to Vera, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay—any questions or requests were answered promptly, Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free, clean, and centrally located place to stay! Nothing really

All of the reviews said it was a great location and it did not disappoint. The open plan living alongside the three large windows which allowed plenty of natural light to fill the room, made it very comfortable and enjoyable to rest while i was bed ridden from surgery. The bathroom was large and modern, alongside a kitchen filled with more than you need. The windows faced the busy street which allowed me to soak up the atmosphere and have perfect view from above, without having to leave the room. Also, very easy to get the tram as its a walk down a hill to Tophane platform which will take you straight into Fatih to view Blue Mosque among others, as well as visit the Grand Bazaar

It gets loud at night, with constant noise until 12am and people still roaming the streets until 4am. This can be heard from the room, so ensure to close all windows and blinds to block out as much as possible

Clean and beautiful apartment with worthy views. Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube available on TV. Location is perfect; restaurants, attractions and metro everything is on walking distance. Totally recommend it and would love to stay here again. In my opinion, given everything mentioned above, it has more value than money demanded. Host is also very much approachable and replies on time. THIS PLACE IS A GEM!!!

The location and equipment of the apartment were exceptional. You are right in the middle of the action and can even reach many restaurants, bars and sights on foot. I would also like to mention the always friendly and accommodating communication with the hostess.

We had a room with a sea view, but unfortunately there were air conditioning compressors directly below our windows that were constantly running and humming. The annoying humming was constantly audible - even at night, which is why we had to get earplugs. Furthermore, we were not satisfied with the intermediate cleaning of the room service, as the floors and other surfaces were either not cleaned or only cleaned half-heartedly.

Upside apartments were great - clean, comfortable and Bosporus view as advertised! Beds are comfy, bathroom spacious, great to have a kitchen and washer/dryer. Right on the main shopping street with so many restaurants nearby to choose from! Vera was super helpful and arranged an early check in for us so we could sleep after the long trip from Australia! We had no trouble finding the place or checking in. Security was great and I loved the convenience of the digital keys.

I have no complaints however the location has some drawbacks. Guests should be aware that it is located in a pedestrian area, so the nearest pickup point is about 100m away, down the hill. It is super easy to get picked up though, and very near a major taxi rank. We needed the taxis, because it is also a fair way, down a steep hill, to the trams/buses. There is a train station close by but that is not very useful to get to,tourist locations.

Location, cleanliness, comfortable, decor, spacious.

The entry to the building is kinda strange. There is a restaurant downstairs, so once you enter into the building it’s kinda blocked by people sitting in the restaurant. It’s little annoying coz every-time you enter or leave you gotta go around these people who won’t leave the space for entry and exit. Also would be good to have some umbrellas handy for guests as it was raining and usually hotels/air bnb have some spare ones for their guests. We did end up buying from down the road but it was bit inconvenient to walk into the rain to get them.

Upside Apartment will forever have my heart. It’s my second time in Istanbul and I got to stay at upside again. I was lucky enough to get the exact same room you can image that I felt right at home. I left a review in June 2023 but I have to leave another one. Upside is in a very lively area, which means shopping, crowds, amazing restaurants and tons of attractions! The place is super clean and comfortable you won’t want to leave. It has everything you will need for your stay. This might be super trivial to some but I left some things home because I knew I was going to have everything I needed there (like a hair dryer and diffuser !). Being at Upside means you don’t have to worry if you need something at late as 1 am because you are bound to find something around the corner. The apartment is super comfortable and does not feel like a cold hotel room. Thank you again Upside team ❤️

The apartment was clean and bed was very comfortable and the restaurant downstairs was very convenient when we were hungry. The view was amazing. The bathtub in the room of the penthouse was very romantic. Tv with Netflix already on it, Great place to stay and a great location. The staff was very helpful, just contact them on whatsapp and they will help you with anything you need.

The only thing I didn't like was the building only has the name of the restaurant on it, not the name of the apartments and when we arrived in the middle of the night I had a hard time finding the hotel. I called and the staff helped me find it and we went to our room.
