I really enjoyed my stay! The room matched the photos exactly and I was satisfied with the accommodations. It isn't the fanciest hotel, but it is a very sweet boutique hotel and was perfectly acceptable, clean, and enjoyable for my 3 days in Istanbul. I especially loved the little balcony, and booked the room specifically to have this amenity. I enjoyed sitting there and watching the activity on the street and having a coffee in the morning. The location of this hotel is very good, super close to İstiklal Caddesi but on a cute little side street. Some reviewers said the street was noisy but I did not encounter this at all. I slept very well in my comfortable bed. The breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the experience. I am honestly surprised at some of the negative or 'meh' reviews of the food. Maybe some people only want certain American/UK breakfast items and are not interested in trying something with flavor. I was happy to be introduced to some Turkish traditional breakfast dishes here for the first time. I am a big foodie so the food situation at a hotel where I am traveling is important to me, and I can tell you the breakfast was amazing! There was so much variety and everything was fresh and delicious. I even could not help myself but to come to breakfast the day I was checking out even though I was immediately heading to breakfast elsewhere. The very best part of the hotel is the staff. So friendly, professional and helpful, in particular Sema and I think his name is Furkan. They are truly wonderful people and I will always remember their kindness to me as I was traveling alone in a country I had never been to before. Big hugs to them! I also got a massage and hamman in the spa, which was very enjoyable and refreshing. I would absolutely book this hotel again the next time I come to Istanbul!

the hotel itself was comfy except having a short problem in bath. but the main positive point in this Hotel is the service desk management with Seher and Behrooz those are so kind and supportive. one day Seher made me an Iranian dish which was really delicious or we had a problem in bath and Behrooz came and fix it by himself without waiting for technician. the day before my flight Seher gave me an handmade gift as a memento. I am totally happy with the hotel and the reason I think is because of Behrooz and Seher and also the location.

For the low price that we paid for one week for two double rooms, the hotel was very good. We were very satisfied with service and the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady made a great job. The breakfast staff put great effort into preparing a nice meal. Our hairdryer was broken, but they fixed it immediately. Due to the great work of the staff, we had a great vacation experience.

Actually we were satisfied with everything, but we would suggest that the management buys some new coffee mugs for the breakfast room.

In my opinion, the best thing about the hotel is Sema – she is an outstanding host. Extremely attentive and helpful, she gave us excellent advice for every question we had. Honestly, if it weren’t for Sema, I probably would have rated the hotel a 5 or 6, because the rooms are smaller than they appear in the pictures. However, we stayed in Room 102, which was very clean, well-sized, and overall quite comfortable. One thing to keep in mind: on Fridays and Saturdays, the nearby clubs and bars can get very loud, so expect some noise. But during the rest of the week, it’s peaceful and quiet. The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal – very close to the metro, tram, and Taksim Square. We walked everywhere, including to Galata and even the old shoreline. It’s located on one of the best streets, full of bars, European-style cafes, and a great atmosphere. Huge thanks to Sema for making our stay so pleasant!

I didn’t like the fact that when I booked the room through Booking.com, the room we had reserved was already occupied upon arrival, and we were placed in a much smaller room — so small that we couldn’t even open our suitcases properly. Thankfully, the next day the very kind and helpful Sema moved us to the room we had originally booked. However, the price shown on Booking (with the crossed-out “original” price suggesting a big discount) is misleading — it doesn’t reflect the actual value. Also, the photos on the site appear outdated. Both rooms now have carpets, most likely placed to cover up the old flooring. In reality, the actual value of the rooms seems to be between €85 and €100 per night.

This hotel had a great location with a vibrant atmosphere and neighborhood. It is a side street from a popular shopping street called Istiklal. The metro sishane is very close, as well as many bus stops, so moving around is quite easy. There are many cafès and bars in the area, so finding a place to eat was a breeze. The nightlife had a great atmosphere also. The room had everything we needed, including great internet and a balcony with a seating area where we could enjoy the view and vibes from the street below where people go about their day. The bed was comfortable as well as having a nice and clean restroom. The hotel staff were all so very nice and hospital. They guided and helped with any inquiries we had and cared about us as guests and individuals. The breakfast menu was a very nice Turkish breakfast menu, with a lot of different food types that you could explore.

There is not alot to criticize about this hotel. If we had to put a finger on anything, is to be open minded about the breakfast, because it is not a westernized buffet, but you get to experience the Turkish breakfast. Because of the vibrant neigborhood there is noise from the street, so if you can sleep with noices remember to pack your earplugs.

The hotel is situated on a very lively street, by Istiklal, and literally minutes away from some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, and my favorite: Minoa Pera bookstore. It is only less than 10 min walk to Galata kulesi, and just generally close to everywhere else. The service is beyond my expectations. Sima is very kind and accommodating, I also find her very funny and friendly. Çok kibarsın! The other staffs are very nice as well. They were always very ready to help and make sure that our stay was comfortable. Our room was nice as well, it’s cleaned daily, and I enjoyed watching the busy street from the windows. When I turned on the TV, it immediately played an episode of Bahar, so I could not complain (Demet Evgar is everything). I ended up watching episodes of Bahar. The breakfast was good! Çok güzel! We got good options, and could enjoy our kahvaltı well. One morning, Sima went around and asked if we’d like Turkahve, and everyone in the dining room ordered a cup! It was lovely too! This is, overall, a very nice stay, and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

There was no spoon in the room (and we kept forgetting to ask as well).

The staff tries hard to please any person who stays here at this small hotel. Look carefully for the sign above the door down the narrow side street from the main shopping boulevard in order not to miss it. As you go through this heavily decorated glass door you will immediately face the reception desk which is immediately in front of the lift. There is currently also a clothes rack in front of these lift doors from which the owner sells her modified vintage dresses. A good healthy Turkish breakfast is served on the floor below. We appreciated the room, and foreign channels on the TV are available at an additional cost. This hotel previously received an award for its concern for the environment so the electric lights in the room and the electrified sign for room cleaning are designed to save energy. It is said that travellers and also many people from countries included in the Caspian region enjoy staying at this hotel.

A really nice room designed with style and beds are super comfortable, always hot water in the shower. Staff is very friendly and attentive to our requests. The very best location if it's your first time in Istanbul, it's 2 minutes walk to bus, tram, tünel and metro! But don't forget to buy an Istanbul card and it can be used for 2 people (on the contrary to a touristic card which also cannot be used to pay for public bathrooms).

The coffee at the breakfast didn't wake me up at all, but luckily there's like 5 coffee shops right around the corner.
