The hotel is in a very central area, The staff is super helpful and kind.

The interiors are a bit old and the bed is not really comfy

We stumbled across this hotel by complete coincidence, and it was a really great coincidence. Rooms: The rooms were cozy and comfortable. My friend and I stayed in a twin room and it was big enough for both of us and our luggage. Bathrooms and beds were clean. 10/10 Location: it’s in an alleyway 15 seconds away from istiklal street and also a taxi hub. But at the same time it’s tucked far enough so the noise doesn’t disturb you when you sleep. Everything is close to you, there is even a small grocery store right next to the hotel. 10/10 Staff: The staff is what makes this hotel a 10/10. Everyone is so kind and every time I entered the hotel, I was met with a smile from each and everyone of them. Mustafa, Berk, Irfan, Sinem, Safak, and Zhura. They’re all absolutely lovely and kind. 10/10

The rooms are clean. Staff at the entrance know English and are very friendly. Berk was an excellent employee, always smiling even throughout his night shift, and he was quite helpful and energetic. He made our stay comfortable. For example, when we requested towels, he delivered them to our room by hand within a few minutes. To be honest, staff hospitality and approach toward guests identifies a place in Istanbul.

The room is small and appropriate for one person. If you are two people with two or three bags, it will not fit comfortably.

Wonderful helpful and friendly staff who always went the extra mile. Very comfortable beds and a superb location. I would definitely recommend to friends and would stay there again if visiting Istanbul.

The view from the window in my room was not the greatest but every other aspect more than compensated for this.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is in an ideal location, just about 50 meters from the vibrant Istiklal Street, which made it super convenient for exploring the city’s highlights. The room was spotless and maintained daily, so I always came back to a fresh, tidy space. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to lend a hand with any questions or needs I had. Their warm hospitality really made a difference, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The breakfast was a bit hit or miss for me, but honestly, it didn’t affect my overall experience.

Great location. Very friendly staff. And comfy bed with lots of pillows. It was also very clean. Loved the kettle in the room to make yourself a little infusion at night ;-)

The one thing I would say is - be prepared to have zero view or direct sunlight. It can feel a little gloomy if you're staying for a long time in your room. And also, I was on the 2nd floor and felt that the windows were not very good at stopping the noise. If someone was having a conversation quite loudly on the ground floor, then you could hear everything. But this is Istanbul after all, and nothing a good pair of earplugs can't solve.

I have stayed at The Westist Hotel more than five times now, and I can say it always feels like a second home. Every stay is comfortable, relaxing, and truly memorable. The hotel’s location, cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere keep me coming back, but what makes it truly special is the staff. Big thanks to Ms. Sinem and Mr. Mustafa at the reception, they are incredibly professional and helpful. Their warm welcome and attentiveness make a huge difference. Also, a big thank you to Ms. Ayşe for her daily smile and care while cleaning my room.

Everything! The staff were fantastic, from the front desk staff, the cleaners and the staff in the spa. We went for 4 nights for my partners birthday. Upon arrival we were upgraded room which was a lovely touch after such long travel! The rooms were super modern & immaculate! Fresh towels & bedding every day and the water and tea in room replenished when used. We were given a discount for the spa facilities and the restaurant next door (which we didn’t manage to get to visit but it smelt lovely) We had some cakes placed in our room as a birthday gesture for my partner which was a really really nice gesture. We visited the spa the night before we left and it was such a lovely touch to our trip! I opted for a full body massage and Turkish bath package and the service was excellent I cannot recommend it enough! Their spa facilities are really lovely, nice intimate settings and calming after the hustle and bustle of Istanbul! The hotel is perfectly situated about 500 yards from İstiklal Street which holds plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops etc. There is a taxi stand at the bottom of the road and beside that there is also a chemist everything you need is a stones throw away. 15 minute walk to Galata tower, and lots of quirky neighbourhood bars in Pera close by! Grand Bazaar is about 10/12 minute uber journey over the water super easy to get to! Will absolutely be staying here again when I return to Istanbul!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Mustafa and Sinem provided excellent customer service and truly went above and beyond – they made our stay experience much better. The hotel itself is in a very good location, just a short walk from Istiklal Street, which made it easy to explore the city. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The bathroom/shower could be a bit more up to date, but it wasn’t a major issue at all compared to the overall comfort and hospitality we received.
