Great location and very nice rooms. Breakfast is amazing and super friendly staff, they are always willing to help and will solve any question/concern you may have. My kids loved the hotel cat too, super friendly :)

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Poem, and it was all thanks to the incredible staff who made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. eren, thank you for greeting us so warmly when we arrived early in the morning. You welcomed us with çay and coffee, and even shared what you knew about Japan — it made me really happy. Even on the morning of our checkout, you sent me off with a smile. You truly lifted my spirits, and I’m so grateful for that. ERCAN, thank you so much for your thoughtful help — especially for calling the Bosphorus cruise tour company for me. That support meant a lot. On the day we checked out, even though our flight was later that evening, you kindly kept our luggage and let us rest in the lobby after our walk. That small kindness made a big difference. Also, thank you to the staff member who arranged the taxi to Istanbul Airport. I arrived safely in Cappadocia, and I was able to enjoy the hot air balloon ride without any issues! The breakfast was amazing, and the view from the Hemingway room was absolutely unforgettable. I already miss Hotel Poem, and I hope to return one day. Thank you again to the entire team for making my stay so special.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Poem in Istanbul this November, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel was both comfortable and cozy, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location was unbeatable—just a stone's throw from Sultanahmet Square, with countless restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance. It was the perfect base for exploring the heart of Istanbul. Breakfast was a highlight, with a divine spread of traditional meze, sweets, and an option for freshly prepared eggs—fried, scrambled, or as an omelette. Every morning felt like a feast! The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to cater to our needs. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Hotel Poem for anyone looking for a charming stay in Istanbul with fantastic service and an ideal location. I can’t wait to return!

It is a very, very impressive private hotel. We stayed in this amazing hotel for 5 nights. Located in the heart of old Istanbul, within walking distance from all main historical attractions. Our Andersen room was impeccably clean, with an impressive Turkish breakfast. Staff is readily available to help with priceless advice.Surrounded by dozens of restaurants and a short distance to public transport. It is truly the best boutique hotel I have ever visited. We spent there 4nights, and I literally cannot say anything bad about this hotel. I had the most standard room option so room had no view to the sea but everything else was fabulous. Big thick curtains which stopped 99% of daylight, amazing rain shower with proper water pressure, large shower area, nice cosmetics, fresh nice smell in the room and whole hotel, very comfortable big bed, quiet room, and 2 most important aspects: incredible breakfast, it is quite likely that you will not find better breakfast in any other hotel in Istanbul, and amazing people working in hotel. You absolutely rock - very helpful, very kind, very positive, no problems in communicating in English, giving advices far beyond regular call of duty - such as organizing jar of jam as a gift as soon as we asked what it is (yummy carrot jam) or giving us exact directions and contacts where to buy beautiful porcelain used to serve breakfasts in the hotel). Free bottles of water in the fridge everyday was also very nice. Regarding the location - it is around 10minutes on foot to Sultanahmet T1 tram station - the most central tramline in the city - so you can easily get anywhere from here. By the way - public transport here is amazing, forget about car, enjoy travelling by metro, trams, buses, funicular and… multiple amazing passenger ferries cruises through Bosphorus - cost per ticket is around 0,50 Euro! I absolutely recommend the city itself and Poem Hotel in particular to everyone. just book it for many days as we stayed here 5days, and it was still not enough to visit everything despite 60km on foot and more than 30tickets used.

I loved everything about this hotel. Honestly I’m counting down the days till I can come back again. The staff and the breakfast were my personal highlights. A big shout out to Eren for being so helpful during our stay.

Everything was perfection. From the room to the service, location. We really loved breakfast. Many thanks to breakfast staff (Eren is extremely kind and friendly) also the front desk staff, cleaning ladies, the manager thank you all for everything. The hotel is located only few minutes walking from Sultanahmed and aya Sofia Mosque and is really clean. I will definetly stay at hotel poem for my futurs stays in Istanbul. ❤️

Great location, amazing breakfast, and the guy at the front desk (I’m so sorry I forgot his name!) was extremely helpful in arranging a tour guide and making recommendations. We had a room at the top with a view of the city and the water, lovely!

We Loved, loved, everything about this boutique hotel and in fact it made the Airbnbs we've stayed at in the past seem awful, by comparison, because of how helpful the staff was with our every need. These are truly professional experts on staff (Eren! Arif! Olga! And the Cooks and waiters!) Here's one stand out: Exceptional Turkish breakfast with fresh squeezed juice, special teas and coffees plus cheeses, fruits, figs, nuts, olives, vegetable dishes, honeys/jams/nutella and other spreads, yogurt, tahini, chutneys, fresh baked breads and pasteries, eggs cooked any way we liked--enough beautiful food to keep us full till dinner, really extraordinary. Also, Emerald, the cat, is ADORABLE

The Wifi Network was 'unsecured' so we ended up just using our phone plan for Wifi, but this was still a 10/10 exceptional Hotel experience.

The stay truly topped our experience in Istanbul! From the start, the warmth and professionalism of the team stood out—every member of staff, from reception to the kitchen, greeted us with genuine friendliness. Imagine being welcomed with a big smile every time you walk in! A special mention goes to Eren and Omar (apologies if I’ve spelt your names incorrectly). Upon learning it was my birthday, Eren surprised us with the most delicious cake at breakfast—such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Omar not only served us the tastiest breakfasts but also made us feel at home with his kind conversations. These little moments really elevated our stay and made us feel genuinely cared for. We were also delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful room with a view of the Bosphorus—what a dream to wake up to each morning! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to all the main attractions, yet tucked away in a peaceful and quiet spot. This has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the past year, thanks above all to the people who made our trip so special. Thank you Hotel Poem—I would love to stay again!
