Great location and very nice rooms. Breakfast is amazing and super friendly staff, they are always willing to help and will solve any question/concern you may have. My kids loved the hotel cat too, super friendly :)

The location was unbeatable—just a stone's throw from Sultanahmet Square, with countless restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance. It was the perfect base for exploring the heart of Istanbul. Breakfast was a highlight, with a divine spread of traditional meze, sweets, and an option for freshly prepared eggs—fried, scrambled, or as an omelette. Every morning felt like a feast! The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to cater to our needs. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Hotel Poem for anyone looking for a charming stay in Istanbul with fantastic service and an ideal location. I can’t wait to return!

It is a very, very impressive private hotel. We stayed in this amazing hotel for 5 nights. Located in the heart of old Istanbul, within walking distance from all main historical attractions. Our Andersen room was impeccably clean, with an impressive Turkish breakfast. Staff is readily available to help with priceless advice.Surrounded by dozens of restaurants and a short distance to public transport. It is truly the best boutique hotel I have ever visited. We spent there 4nights, and I literally cannot say anything bad about this hotel. I had the most standard room option so room had no view to the sea but everything else was fabulous. Big thick curtains which stopped 99% of daylight, amazing rain shower with proper water pressure, large shower area, nice cosmetics, fresh nice smell in the room and whole hotel, very comfortable big bed, quiet room, and 2 most important aspects: incredible breakfast, it is quite likely that you will not find better breakfast in any other hotel in Istanbul, and amazing people working in hotel. You absolutely rock - very helpful, very kind, very positive, no problems in communicating in English, giving advices far beyond regular call of duty - such as organizing jar of jam as a gift as soon as we asked what it is (yummy carrot jam) or giving us exact directions and contacts where to buy beautiful porcelain used to serve breakfasts in the hotel). Free bottles of water in the fridge everyday was also very nice. Regarding the location - it is around 10minutes on foot to Sultanahmet T1 tram station - the most central tramline in the city - so you can easily get anywhere from here. By the way - public transport here is amazing, forget about car, enjoy travelling by metro, trams, buses, funicular and… multiple amazing passenger ferries cruises through Bosphorus - cost per ticket is around 0,50 Euro! I absolutely recommend the city itself and Poem Hotel in particular to everyone. just book it for many days as we stayed here 5days, and it was still not enough to visit everything despite 60km on foot and more than 30tickets used.

Everything was perfection. From the room to the service, location. We really loved breakfast. Many thanks to breakfast staff (Eren is extremely kind and friendly) also the front desk staff, cleaning ladies, the manager thank you all for everything. The hotel is located only few minutes walking from Sultanahmed and aya Sofia Mosque and is really clean. I will definetly stay at hotel poem for my futurs stays in Istanbul. ❤️

Great location, amazing breakfast, and the guy at the front desk (I’m so sorry I forgot his name!) was extremely helpful in arranging a tour guide and making recommendations. We had a room at the top with a view of the city and the water, lovely!

Perfect, I usually do not write review but this hotel is amazing, the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast started at 8pm, but we had to go airport earlier. They still tried their best to prepare the breakfast for us. Excellent service, clean room, everyday our room was made very tidy. The bed is comfortable and spotless. Recommended!

I recently stayed at Hotel Poem in Istanbul and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel's convenient location allowed me to explore the city on foot, with everything easily accessible. The property is impeccably clean and very quiet, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. My room featured a breathtaking sea view that added a touch of magic to my stay. The breakfast was superb, offering a delightful mix of traditional Turkish dishes and sweet treats that exceeded my expectations. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the incredibly kind and courteous staff, especially Eeron. * This hotel is really well located in the heart of Istanbul and is quite intimate and quiet. The value for money is definitely worth it. We walked a lot and many things were accessible walking. * The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We stayed 5 nights and every day there was a variety of sweet and savoury treats. * Definitely worth using the 55 euros airport transfer as this is what we paid for the whole family of 5 and it was really well organised. Avoid taking taxis as they tend to scam you and use this service.

Not much, we really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was really lovely. The only 2 things I would say are : * There is no public access to the Rooftop. Only certain rooms have access to it and the room we had did not which is absolutely fine but worth knowing in advance ;-) * The lovely staff recommended us to go to a restaurant called Seafront Lounge really close to the hotel which was great for the view but the food was really average and not cheap so I would not recommend it unless you want to go for the view. We found a lovely small, affordable and tasty restaurant really close to the hotel called Valley Hill Cafe and restaurant that is much more pleasant in our option and worth trying. We had an amazing stay at Poem Hotel! The highlight of our experience was Eren, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and positive throughout our visit. He speaks Russian and English fluently, which made communication so easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, and the atmosphere is so cozy that we truly felt at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a great start to our day. Overall, the combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and a welcoming ambiance made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend Poem Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay!
