The location on the Bosphorus and the spacious room with the small terrace to sit outside on were wonderful. The breakfast was also excellent.

Check in took a long time. The deposit amount seemed excessive. The volume of the music in the bar at night was too loud. It was not possible to enjoy a relaxing drink.

Very nice location next to Bosporus. Very wide and good breakfast. Very good Spa.

The servicelevel in the restaurants for dinner where poor, a lot of mistaces from the staff who didnt understand english to 100% and also seemed to dont have the professional manners. The allowance of smoking in the restaurants (all except Hakkasan) were unpleasant.

We stayed here as a family and had a truly perfect experience. The views of the Bosphorus were stunning, the room was luxurious and comfortable, and the overall service was world-class. I would especially like to thank Mustafa, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. His support really made a difference. A huge thank you to the Hotel Management as well for arranging a private boat transfer to Çırağan Palace Kempinski when the roads were closed due to the marathon. Thanks to their quick action, we made it to the airport on time. Truly impressive service!

The service, the view, the quality, the interior and furniture..

Service in the cafe/restaurant by the Bosphorus wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. They claimed that tables by the Bosporus are booked (which isn’t correct)and seated me further away, and when i ask them to book it for me for another day, they tell me its not guaranteed!

Everything about this hotel was beautiful and stunning. Location, breakfast, attention to detail and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and assisted with everything especially the Concierge and Ozer who were always helpful and efficient. We loved the views and the food at the restaurants was amazing. Our rooms, the spa and the hotel facilities were luxurious. We had a memorable holiday and look forward to staying the MO Istanbul again.

Absolutely everything was amazing.

Very clean and the room was beautiful and spacious. It was my mom’s birthday and they brought her cake and balloons. Our butler (a young woman named Beyza) was extremely attentive, helpful and hospitable. She was amazing. One of my favorite things is that the bathroom includes a handheld bidet (shattaf) which was perfect and accommodating to different cultures.

The location can be very crowded and a bit far from usual hangouts. Other than that was excellent.

I’ve been to so many ultra luxury hotels and resorts in the world but I must say this is my number 1. Being platinum member on Marriot bonvoy allows you many benefits but the services and benefits we got here are not like anywhere else. From the moment you arrive you feel special when the bellman offers to pay your limo and carry your items in a sec. Check in in less than 5mins you have your personal butler take you to your room while briefing you on all the amenities and facilities in the hotel. The decor / interior design of the hotel is unbelievable with a phenomenal mix of US walnut wood / OAK and Marble. The SPA and Gym are unbelievable with a great size indoor pool. We stayed in room 136 and it was fabulous with the views of the pool and Bosohurus from the balcony. The outdoor pool is amazing however the sun stays there till 2pm only. When you have Novikov and Hakasan in the same place you know that you’re in the right place. The Bosohurus views are stunning from everywhere. You will get surprised everywhere u go with some amazing cake slices / drinks / small bites at the pool or while having breakfast in Novikov. Super Mecit at the arrival offered to pay our taxi and helped us with the bags. My only comment is that the pool is not warm / hearted properly in the SPA and the outdoors one - water is cold. Moreover, we have asked for our room to be cleaned twice but unfortunately it wasn’t. Those are the only issues we faced. Atakan at the concierge was brilliant. Taha Karal the life guard at the pool is super professional and friendly. Ahmed, Duran & Ergazi at Novikov breakfast were superb. Rasul & Moustafa at the swimming pool are very decent & friendly guys. Tevrat in the SPA is a brilliant guy who knows about all the services and very helpful.

Pools not heated - cold the indoor and outdoors need to be heated and temperature need to be in the mid 30s

Staying at the Mandarin Oriental Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel was an experience my wife and I will cherish forever, especially as we celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The highlight of our celebration was the exceptional service provided by the concierge team, who went above and beyond to organize our special day. They expertly arranged a romantic journey for us from Kadıköy to the hotel’s own dock via a private water taxi, adding a touch of glamour and exclusivity to our celebration. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautifully prepared room by the butler service, complete with flowers scattered on the floor, sweet gifts from the hotel, and a stunning bouquet of flowers that we had ordered separately. The attention to detail was remarkable and set the tone for our entire stay. Our accommodation was upgraded to the Mandarin Suite from the Deluxe King room, a generous gesture that took us by surprise. The suite was expansive, with windows overlooking the serene inner garden and the road, yet remarkably quiet, offering us a peaceful sanctuary. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally helpful and polite, all fluent in English, which made communication seamless. Contrary to some reviews I had read beforehand, we encountered no issues with the staff; in fact, their professionalism and eagerness to assist surpassed my high expectations. The spa facilities at the hotel are second to none. I indulged in the Sultan Hammam treatment while my wife enjoyed the Oriental Essence, both of which were incredibly rejuvenating and added a luxurious touch to our stay. Dining at the hotel was a culinary delight, particularly at Novikov restaurant. The quality of food served during the Sunday brunch was exceptional, with a wide variety of seafood, meze, and pastries, all of which were of the highest quality. Our dinner at Novikov was equally impressive, as was the breakfast, with the freshness of the lokoum being a standout.

The temperature on the Novikov terrace could have been a bit more comfortable, as it felt too warm. Additionally, the shower area could benefit from more meticulous attention to cleanliness and a broader selection of shower gels and fragrances, perhaps including some samples from the spa. Lastly, while the restaurant terraces along the embankment were lovely, having a promenade for guests to enjoy would have been a welcome addition.

I used to go to Istanbul many times each year .. and this year I choose Mandarin Oriental Bosphor hotel to have a different experience by having a Bosphor view in the room .. when I reach the hotel unfortunately my room doesn’t have any view to the Bosphor although I book the room with Bosphor view 😢.. but “ Gem bey “ and “ yağmur hanim “ at the reception try their best to give us a better room with Bosphor view and they did 👍👌💕.. it was an amazing room with stunning view 😍❤️.. Also many thanks to “ Doğukan Bey “🙏❤️ and “ Deneiz Bey “ 🙏 ❤️they help us a lot through our stay by giving us a late check out and helping us to find a big taxi to take us to the airport and also giving us a beautiful and unique souvenir From the hotel 🤝💕💕 At all .. my stay at Mandarin Oriental Bosphor hotel was amazing & exceptional .. The hotel gave me the rest and relaxation I needed .. it was my first visit to the hotel but definitely it won’t be the last ❤️
