Eyran, our host, was so nice and friendly! The room was large and comfortable, with a double bed, a couch as well as a table. There was even another single bed so you could comfortably sleep 4 people there. everything was clean, and fairly close to Old Sultanamet and many restaurants. About 20-30 min walk from Hajia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. It was very good value for the price.

One thing that could be better is the blankets. They are individual blankets, even for the double bed, so that wasn't very convenient for my wife and I to have 1 blanket each. Otherwise it was great!

We loved staying at Meydan Suites! The host is lovely and responded to any requests quickly. The room we stayed in was cosy and spacious, very clean also. The terrace is fantastic and also big so we spent a whole day of our holiday sunbathing there even though we are not the type to ever spend time in the room on holiday. The location is very good, 10 minutes walk or so to the tram station (up a steep hill so possibly not accessible to all, but that's Istanbul in general). Many restaurants around and shops too. Make sure to get the fish sandwich in the square downstairs from the little stand, as it's the best one we've had and also cheap. There are cats that seem to have claimed the outside of Meydan Suites as their home and they're super cute and enjoy pets, the owner is really nice to them and let's them come chill inside in his office.

The AC is so powerful that it almost got too cold at night, but that's not really a complain, just make sure you bring a longer sleeve pyjama top if you want it on during the night :)

The location is good, you can walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The T1 tram is pretty close, to go to Eminonu and Galata tower. The rooms have AC, it was clean and cleaned every other day by the host, which is an always smiling dude with a good vibe. Next door is a market so you can buy some water, lots of restaurants close by, the parking was in a closed courtyard, that had multiple security cameras.

Sometimes the shower drain was drying up and some smell came out, but it only happened once and a second time we started to smell it and started the shower to fill up the drain. And the friends that stayed at last floor sometimes didn’t have hot water, is multiple people were taling showers. These are pretty minor things.

Superb location - within a short walking distance to main historic sites (including Hagia Sophia); a couple of minutes walk to a local hamam, supermarket and restaurants; peaceful location at night, good for sleeping. Large comfortable room with ensuite - lovely view to a small park with a water fountain; clean room with ample light streaming through the windows ; strong water pressure in the shower. Friendly and helpful manager - thank you Eray.

No lift - steep stair case with loose handrail on level 1, may pose a challenge for some travellers. Room wasn’t cleaned each day - it was cleaned once in a four night stay with sheets not changed.

Everything was great, our host Eray was very helpful and attentive, room was clean, bathroom smelled good, although it was a little small. Bed is very comfortable, bedding and towels are clean. Per our requests we were provided with iron and transportation card without charge. Wifi is strong, never had a problem with it. Location is good because it's not up the hill, there are two beautiful parks with fountains located nearby, one just across the road. Had a really great experience with our stay.

Great location. The Suites are with the view on park within a walking distance to a lot of historical sites. Its a nice and quiet place to stay. There are a couple of local restaurants nearby. Also there is a grocery store in the same building on the ground floor where you can buy drinks and snacks for the local price. I highly recommend to stay at Meydan Suites and visit the Blue Bottle restaurant located on the same street. The rooms and bathroom are very clean and in excellent condition. Furniture is nice and the beds comfortable. The AC is powerful and cools the room very fast. The host is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again when we decide to visit Istanbul again.

There should be a safety deposit box in the room but there wasnt. Anyways its a safe place and everything was good.

We had a comfortable 6 night stay. The room is clean, spacious, bright. The owner is really nice. The location is walking distance to the main tourist sights in the historical district, and we felt safe at all times. It is worth noting that the apartment is around 10-15 minutes walk downhill from the tram stop and other tourist sights.

The wifi was quite slow. It is personal taste but for us the pillows were too high.

Excellent location ,very comfortable beds, lovely terrace and you can literally see Blue Mosque 🕌 Very helpful and attentive owner, he waited to check us in around 1 am and was happy for us to leave our luggage ! Safe location walking distance to main attractions ,could not ask for more Restaurant 100 mteres from location is opened till 2 am very friendly owners and lovely service too We will definitely return when we are next in Istanbul Thank you !!

Eray and Erdem were fantastic and always available to help. The location is wonderful. It's more of a local neighborhood rather than just the touristy area. The park in front of Meydan Suites was great. I did my workout there on Sundays when the gym was closed. There is a laundry nearby that I was able to bring my laundry to. The Bergonville restaurant beside the hotel was a great place to eat and very convenient. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main Sultanahmet area, but that was fine with me as I loved walking up Pierre Loti street. Everything was so convenient, the store downstairs where I could buy water and snacks, there is even a large grocery store around the corner for other essentials. There are fruit and vegetables stands nearby as well as many other restaurants. I went to the gym, Red Line Fitness, everyday in the Sultanahmet area, which is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel. That was super fantastic as I loved the gym....it was better than most hotel gyms. I stayed there for one month and the people in the neighborhood began to recognize me. It's great when people see you and say hello. Everyone was so friendly. I also loved visiting the dogs at the police station by the park. I brought them my leftovers from my meals. :) I have stayed at the big hotel names like the Sheraton, Raddisson, etc. in Istanbul, but I have to say that my stay at Meydan Suites was the most pleasant experience that I had. I felt like I connected with the neighborhood and everything was super convenient. I will definitely stay at Meydan Suites again when I come to Istanbul.....which is about 2 times per year. Each visit is about 1month. Eray and Erdem are great hosts.

I can't really think of anything that I didn't like. I just had the most wonderful experience staying at Meydan Suites. Before I arrived, I was a bit concerned about the location and place, but all my concerns were gone once I got there. This is the best place I have stayed at in Istanbul.

This is the second time I have stayed at Meydan Suites and like the first time, I truly enjoyed staying there. The location was ideal for my needs and most of all, the room was great.

I don't really have anything I can say that I didn't like. I was satisfied with everything. All of my expectations and needs were met and I hope that Meydan Suites will always be there for me when I visit Istanbul.
