I have reviewed the Nil hotel before, and it has become the hotel that I most frequent. The location is excellent and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. They have a nice breakfast each day and a very helpful staff. The hotel is located about 500 meters from the metro. The neighborhood has many shops, restaurants, and cafes, and in the evenings, you have a short walk to a number of small bars. I am always treated well at this hotel.

The managers were really nice and helpful. They provided everything we needed. They serve good breakfast and the hotel is close to the tourist attractions. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to Osmanbey metro station. Also, this hotel is really clean. The lady who cleaned our room everyday was awesome. The two managers who work there gave us outstanding customer service. They made sure we had whatever we needed.

The first night we got there the person behind the reception was a little unexperienced and not informed of all the facilities that the hotel provided, but the next day in the morning when the manager met us apologized for his lack of experience and provided everything we needed. We never saw that person again. There were only very experienced and nice staff.

I went to Istanbul for one day business trip, last minute booking .com I found Nil hotel which is center of the city. when I read good review I decided to give try instead of super expensive big name hotel. I am glad I did give a chance. check in was super quick and fast, They make sure if I need anything during my stay transfer restaurant reservation etc. Hotel Room it is very specious and clean after coming Paris little cubic room and so expensive I felt that I am staying in King suite. furnitures are very updated and bed is very comfortable after long day it was very good night sleep . Location it is the best in Istanbul. Şişli is Centre of town it is so closed the subway and public transportation. there are many nice coffe shops pastry and restaurants around the hotel. my meeting was in Taksim Square only 2 stop with subway It took me 5 min with subway. check out very professional my car was arranged to airport transfer with luxury, car no stress to find a taxi . During the check out-I get a chance to meet with hotel owner. Mr Ozbay he is true kind gentleman and making sure everything is running perfectly. I wanted thanks behalf of Mr Ozbay to whole staff for professionalism and great hospitality. I am looking forward to come back stay in Nil hotel and enjoy Istanbul

the staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was very clean, house keeping did a great job on daily basis. the breakfast was good. the hotel location was exceptional, just a couple minutes walking from metro and bus station. the hotel in general was amazing value for money.

bathroom requires maintenance. (i.e. bathroom door & shower)

It is very near to the train station

The bulbs were not functioning properly. The on in the main bathroom flickers whilst the other bulb in the shower is completely busted.

It's an amazing location just nearby to everything Metro stop is very close,, the Hotel is good the staff are very helpful special thanks to Harcan, Wesal they are very helpful and Husen of course all where very kind and helped as possible,, the hotel is very clean, showers work perfectly, i had a room on the top floor extra clam and nice.. Thanks Nil Hotel will come again for sure.

I liked everything

We stayed 7 nights and we are satisfied with the stay. The location is perfect. Metro, bus stops, restaurants, groceries, cafes… everything is within 2-3 min walking distance. The staff is friendly. Compared to other 3-star hotels in Istanbul, this is a very good hotel for its price.

The wifi was very good in the first days, but then it became very slow. Cleaning could be better. We saw a few cockroaches in the bathroom.

This hotel met all my main needs: - Location: great, safe, close to public transportation (3 min to bus, 5 min to metro, & if you don't mind walking for a bit, you can reach Taksim in 15 min, as well as the stops for Havaist and Havabus), - Safety: peaceful stay for a solo woman, - Staff: nice and helpful, always welcoming me with a smile, and they even surprised me with a cake for my birthday! Beautiful gesture that made my stay all the more satisfying. Special thanks to the reception lady for everything, her warm welcome after I arrived at night, tired after a long flight, set the tone for my perfect stay in Istanbul.

Clean and comfortable room. Very close to Osmanbey station, and you can travel from there very easily. Staffs are all supportive and help me to maximise the stay though some of them might not speak English.

Breakfast contents could be improved. Wifi is a little bit weak.

Perfect location, the street is relatively silent. Nice breakfast, probably a bit basic (same things everyday), but everything’s local and perfectly fresh. Comfy mattress in our room (204), black-out curtains, small balcony, spacious wardrobe with a safebox, room service every day (thus always clean towels), and very quick reaction to any request.

Bathroom facilities and all the furniture are very, very tired :-)
