The staff is amazing, very nice and attentive guys. The breakfast is just amazing, all Turkish traditional food and there was even a chocolate Fontaine! A part of it the staff offered us a fresh omelette and Turkish coffee. Good location, close to the center.

Feels that hotels facilities are already old. The shower, bathroom seemed old, the hair dryer didn’t work. But everything was clean. In spite of the fact that the street is closed to the blue mosque, it is pretty quiet and dark, so I wouldn’t walk there alone in the late evening.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Air conditioning. Strong shower. Excellent location for easy access to all the main historical sites. Wide choice of local dishes for breakfast. The hotel provides an airport transfer service at reasonable cost.

The downside to the central location is that nearby restaurants are not the cheapest but the manager advised of three that were better value. Although I appreciated the diversity on offer, and the local flavour, it took a while to acclimatise to the breakfast options however they were all of very good quality and well prepared. These are just observations and not complaints.

Very convenient location. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. They helped with all arrangements, any last minute questions as well.

The only thing is that I wish the bathrooms were bigger. But I think all hotels in the area are similar as they are in the older part of the city

The hotel is in a good place. There are a lot of areas to stroll across near the hotel. Be alert of a pitfall I was not aware of - the restaurants near the hotel are way too expensive! It is a good idea to take a tram ride to İstiklal Avenue and eat there - it will be tastier and less expensive. The hotel provides a good breakfast, the room is well decorated, and the beds are soft and large, I also liked the shower because of its great rainfall shower head. The staff is very nice and smiley. The room lacks free space, but judging by the architecture of the city I think that other hotels in this area have the same disadvantage. Anyway, there is enough space for two people.

The bad thing was that the room service was not good enough. They didn't vacuum clean the floor.

Location is amazing, it is close to the main attractions, and the walk is through the small streets filled with restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful, supporting all our needs and questions. It had a very good sound isolation from the street, you could barely hear the noises of the city! The breakfast was very versatile for the hotel of this size. Overall, very good value for money.

We booked two same rooms, one had not very nice layout with entrance 50cm from the bed. Other room was having a small corridor area, which was perfect. So it seems luck based what you get. The bed was probably only 1.85m long, so if you are a tall person, you will definitely have your feet dangling.

My family and I had the please of staying at The Obahan last week. The hotel is located in an excellent central location, a few minutes walk away from the main sites. The room was clean, towels replaced and room cleaned whenever this was requested. There was a good variety offered at breakfast. Many thanks to the front of desk for always being so friendly and attentive. 10 out of 10 as no reason to deduct any points! My family and I had the best time, thank you :)

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. If you need any help planning your activities, they give useful advice and can help you to arrange various trips/ tours. The hotel has a transfer service which we used. It was comfortable and good value for money, and made getting from the airport to the hotel and back very easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice view of one of the minarets of, I believe, the Blue Mosque. The breakfast was very good. I'd say the best hotel breakfast we've ever had. The range of different foods is amazing and each one is perfectly prepared. The staff at the breakfast were all very friendly and helpful, especially Dilfuza who always brought us fried eggs and Turkish coffee. The location of the hotel is superbe. You are in very close walking distance of several nice restaurants, and all the main attractions such as the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace. We highly recommend this hotel and would like to return some day.

The cleanliness, furnishing, coziness of lobby, hospitality of the staff, sahur experience, and location.

No place to hang thick heavy winter coats/jackets/scarves. The wardrobe is not suitable/enough for 3 people's.

The staff at reception were great. Accommodated our special requests and helped us out with an international power adapter for us to be able to charge our phones and laptop.

While located close to the water, it is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the tram and the main attractions. Due to the road in front of the hotel being so narrow, taxis do not frequent the road. Group tours booked required us to walk up the road to be picked up as the road was too narrow for the tour bus to pick us from the hotel.

Very nice stay - a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. Very tasty breakfast with a big variety (: Bed was suuuuper comfortable! 24 hour reception worked perfectly!

Could be cleaned a little better & the room we had had a balcony to a construction site. There also has been construction noises.
