Location is great. just 10 min walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. We stayed for a week as we came to see the historic areas only. The hotel is in a walking distance from Marmaray station to travel to the Asian side and the same distance to Eminonu station for the boat tours. From Sultanahmet tram station with interchanges to metro line you can travel to any part of Istanbul. There is a lot of restaurants serving local cuisine in the area.

Although located in the touristic area, it's difficult to get a taxi. you have to walk to the Kennedy str or walk to the tram station and change to metro line. There is construction site near the hotel and it's quite noisy. The area is very popular and expect crowds of tourist there.

We were welcomed very nicely with coffee and team upon arrival, while room was ready, clean and warm. We were also upgraded with complementary breakfast during our 4 nights stay, which was much appreciated. We only had breakfast in the hotel, one day as it was rather poor in assortments and after 9.30 am the plates were not refreshed with more food and the bread basket either. The heating in the room was very good given the very cold weather of Istanbul during the days we stayed. The room was clean and the bed sets new and very well maintained. The area very quiet and most of all the staff are very pleasant, polite, available and to help at any time of day and night.

The hotel is very cozy and more like a guesthouse hence the rooms are small and quite close to each other. For the first two nights of our stay the neighboring room had very noisy guests who did not respect the late night hours of sleep, but were loud in the corridors and in the room every time they came and were indoors. The rooms are cleaned only if you put the sign at the door each morning or the day you wish this to be - hence not being informed on this we ended up with same towels and sheets for 4 nights, till we asked for such service at the reception. In some rooms where smoking is maybe allowed, it really affects the entre building when those doors are opened.

Room was very clean, friendly staff, room had all essentials you needed. Very warm in the winter. Parking right outside the hotel. About 10 min walk from the tram stop to get you to literally everywhere. And a 10 min walk to Blue mosque and the nearby attractions. Hotel breakfast was good, they served scrambled eggs, bread, standard turkish cheese etc. You can take your breakdown and head to the terrace if you want which has a great panoramic view of the city.

Didn't have a lift unfortunately but that's due to the grade listing of the building where the gov doesnt allow a lift, not the hotel's fault. Just means luggage must be carried up the stairs. The staff will help. Room was a little small, but had everything you needed. Slightly loud as it's by the train line but trains do stop at night.

Very polite staff, good breakfast, clean sheets. They changed our sheets twice in four days. There was always someone at the reception. Free parking spots around the hotel. Water, tea and coffee always available. Nice view from the terrace.

I will choose the hotel again, but in a different floor. Demisol was a little bit hard to air the room and we could easily be seen by the walkers, so needed to stay always with curtains on. Just an advice for staff is to keep also the doors and windows sills clean.

The hotel is located in the old part of the city. The terrace on the top floor offers an incredible view. The room was very clean and had everything you need, including a large bottle of water, coffee, tea and complimentary apples. The breakfast was typical Turkish, freshly prepared. In our opinion, the biggest advantage was that they offer unlimited coffee - espresso, which the staff kindly prepared. The other big advantage was that there is free parking. The staff was extremely friendly. All the employees provided us with full assistance with parking, accommodation and gave us directions for the best route to reach the places we needed to visit. We will definitely visit again.

Small Hotel, very clean, enough for spend 1 night. Nice view from top roof terace, location on some street hard to find it. Host was extremly friendly and ok.

Breakfast coffe was Nescafe...not on my taste. They offer you to take breakfast on roof, but you need to carry your food 6 floors on stairs, from -2 up to 4. Not convenient. In the morning will be wake-up by muslims religions procedure....it is loud enough!

First impression was t the extremely friendly staff . They answered all our questions with a smile. There was the promised parking space and everything was fine . The mattress in the room was very comfortable and we slept peacefully and comfortably we would love to come back again.Quiet and pleasant, one step from the centre

Was disappointed with the breakfast, it was very bland and served in a room looking like a basement , instead of the beautiful terrace with a great view - so we didn't repeat the next two mornings

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was small and surprisingly quiet.

The quality of the breakfast has room of improvement. The location is 15 min walking to the mosques but the road is no easy. It's a arrow road with almost no side walk and uphill. So if you are bringing big luggage like us, you might lose a wheel or two trying to get there.

The bathroom had a slight odor; the window wouldn’t open and the fan couldn’t ventilate properly. The windows open vertically with difficulty, and some don’t stay open (no stops). (For drivers) Parking is on very narrow side streets, making access to the hotel challenging.

The location is ideal, only 10 minutes walk from everything in the old quarter. (Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque) The staff were super friendly and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable . The rooms were spotless, and it had a kettle and a fridge (rare nowadays!) It was freezing in Istanbul, but the rooms were centrally heated and really cozy and warm . Would definitely recommend .
