Room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Best airconditioning I have ever experienced in a hotel, managed to cool down the room within moments. There was also a fridge with a freezer compartment, perfect for storing groceries and drinks. No noise from neighboring rooms. Cleaning lady was very fast, respectful and did a great job. Staff was kind and helpful, especially Ibrahim who told us about places to visit, helped us find good local grocery stores & restaurants and managed to find us taxi rides for amazing prices.

The welcoming service by the young guy in glasses was exceptional, he assisted my mum and I in everything and was able to answer any queries we had with either our room or visiting points / locations and recommendations. As well as organising tours for us and transport to the airport. Amazing service, and the hotel was in a perfect location - all staff was friendly too and room was certainly value for money.

The bathroom, could do with an upgrade and deep clean. While on stay the bathroom was not cleaned so we had to asked for it to be clean as there was also a small from the drain, but it was not much fuss as we were not in the room often and it was sufficient to shower / get ready for the day to tour.

The staff is simply amazing and deserve more than 10 …Royal was very helpful and always made sure that all the needs are met very effectively same with Suna at Night she is very nice and so talented with speaking many languages also Mansour was nice and Hassan was great and always greeted us with his authentic turkish kind smile during breakfast

1- Breakfast is a set plate and can be better 2- room cleaning can be better (room cleaning is on demand and they ask you everyday if its needed but im talking about the cleaning process)

The apartment, although on the small side, was clean and comfortable. An added bonus was two balconies either side, one overlooking a lovely sea view and the other looking at the Blue Mosque (very close). There was a private lift that would have opened straight into the room but unfortunately they had lost the keys to it apparently. No real problem as there was only a short flight of stairs from the 2nd floor lift. The location is ideal, close to the main centre (about 5-10 min walk) but a very quiet area. No local shops as such but there are little supermarkets just off the main square. They have a 24 hour reception in the next street which while we were there was operated by a delightful lady (I forgot to ask her name - sorry!). I'd highly recommend this place for your visit.

We booked this property for our babymoon getaway, it was the best decision ever, not only it is close to all the tourist areas but each and everyone that worked there is one of the nicest people we met in turkey, the cleaning lady is such a nice lady, and khalil who managed the property is such a helpful and humbling guy he always made sure we had everything even if its midnight, he went out of his way to accomodate us, always had the biggest welcoming smile on his face. If we talk about the views, its soooo breathtaking one window opens to the beautiful sea views and one to the blue mosque, its ideal!!

Nice location. Close to the mosques. Nice staff. Suna from the front desk was great . Also the staff in general was nice 👍 They allowed us to leave the baggage at them even after checkout because the plane was at a later hour.

I wouldn't have high hopes for the breakfast option. I recommend having breakfast at a restaurant nearby

Mr. Royal is the best host I have ever had. He consider his guests like his own family and guides them for everything which guests just say to have it in Istanbul. Ms Suda is someone who never let you feel that you are in hotel and welcomes like you are part of his home. Thank you guyz. really enjoyed staying with ya

The hotel location was great! A few minutes walk from Ayasofya square, and you can reach the main objects by feet. Front desk manager Ms. Suna was such a friendly, kind, and helpful woman. Willingly answered all the questions regarding the stay and assisted us a lot with our baggage problems. The hotel's entrance and surrounding area is very tidy since staff always sweep it and are very serious about neatness as we understood. Very cozy and feels like home, thank staff and interior itself. So we had a great experience, and surely will choose Sur if we go to Istanbul again.

Nice staff, nice view to have with breakfast. The view from the rooms is not so visible, as there is a building / ruins across.

In our economy room on the third floor we had to ask every evening to get the heating started, so it tended to be a bit chilly. But it was still comfortable
