Great little hotel off a very busy trade street, very helpful staff, free tea, coffee and water downstairs, quiet.

PRAG was one of the options given by the search for "hotels with a pool" on booking.com, and there were also photos of a pool and steam room. In fact, the hotel DOES NOT HAVE A POOL OR SAUNA. The pool is at the Baron hotel which is a few minutes walk, and it is not free (15 euros per person). My children were very disappointed

This is definitely one of the best hotels in price/quality. The price on booking was quite honest (while many other hotels play like you have a "huge discount" when conditions and rating are much worse). It's not a touristic season (February) but many hotels were overbooked. Very friendly staff is always ready to help if needed. Restaurant-like breakfast every morning (you can ask for special menu if needed), the rooms are cleaned everyday. Everything is clean and looks neat. Just like in the pictures. Spacious rooms. The receptionist we met on the first day has very good music taste. 🤘

I grabbed some instant noodles on the way to the hotel but there was no electric kettle in the room 😀. But you can use it in a cafeteria room on the first floor. I personally used filters to find a hotel with a gym (and a swimming pool) but it's not in the hotel and costs about 15 eur/one time which is expensive. Eventually I found another one in the city. Also the laundry service price is too high imo, so I also found a laundry room on google maps which was much more affordable. The area itself is like a huge wholesale market and takes ~12 minutes to get to the bus/train stop cause there's no public transport in these small streets. But it's often like that in Istanbul.

The equipment of room was really solid. The bed was big and comfortable. They have the optic internet, what I found really interesting. A bathroom was very beautiful. What I really like was the room itself because there was enough space to move around despise of the big bed. The breakfast was always tasty and the staff was always kind. Honestly I would not give 10 points to this hotel, but Habib was that reason why I decided to give such a rating. The owner should understand what kind of treasure he has at reception.

From my own perspective if there is double bed, it is better to use 2 blankets than 1 bigger. More hooks in the bathroom or you may install towel rack over the WC because 1 hook is not enough. Check the window in room 101. It seems like it cannot be closed properly at down position. It should go smoothly but it does not. It was not possible to lock the entrance room (room 101).

Staying at PRAG Hotel was an absolute pleasure! It’s in a perfect central location, close to Istanbul’s top attractions, but still manages to be quiet and relaxing. The rooms are airy, clean, and have all amenities one needs on their trip. The breakfast was also delicious! The highlight, though, was the amazing staff. Every person I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay easy and enjoyable: always available, always helpful, and genuinely warm. Outside the entrance, a few adorable cats have made the hotel their home, and it’s clear they’re loved and cared for by everyone there. It really made the place feel like a sanctuary in the city ❤️ I highly recommend PRAG Hotel and will happily return whenever I’m in Istanbul again!

the hotel is quite new and well build, with a side room where 24/7 you can have tea or coffee or(like it happened to us) chill after you have checked out,waiting for your airport ride. The staff is great, always trying to help, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is quite good with enough to choose from. important to mention is the private car park(4-5 cars), a rarity for that area.

the location isn’t brill as it is “at the bottom of the steep hill” you need to reach in order to take transportation. (15-20 min walk). the area itself is a little bit crazy with a lot of local movement as the pics uploaded will show.

The Prag Hotel in Istanbul exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast is truly excellent, with a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. One of the standout features of this hotel is its location in Fatih and the added convenience of having a parking area – a rare and valuable amenity in this bustling part of the city. Additionally, for those who prefer not to walk to the main shopping street, the hotel offers a golf cart service upon request, making it even more convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience that combines comfort, convenience, and great service. Highly recommended!

I will recommend the hotel to all my friends. Excellent location, very close to important and well-known tourist attractions, very close to taverns and restaurants where the Turkish food is exceptional. Right in the shopping center where the shops have quality and very cheap products. I love Istanbul and Prag Hotel. This is related to the location... regarding cleanliness, note 10. A cleaning lady came to the room twice in the same day, because she found us in the room and so as not to disturb us, she took the trash and left, after we left she came again and I found the room immaculately clean. And this every day! Breakfast... score 10 !!! Varied, rich, the buffet staff exceptional. Friendly and bouncy, the ladies from the kitchen are communicative and very skilled! Crazy cakes, extraordinarily good!!! The end... Reception staff... CONGRATULATIONS!!! Very respectful young gentlemen. They offered to show us tourist routes, teach us and recommend places to visit. We were sorry that we left and did not ask them their names and to keep in touch with them!!! Everything was extraordinary, we congratulate you for knowing and taking care of your business.

Staying at Hotel PRAG was a real pleasure! The hotel is in a great central location, has its own free secure parking, is located in a quiet area and is close to the main attractions of Istanbul. The hotel also offers an electric club car to the center. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts one needs on a trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very varied and delicious. We highly recommend Hotel PRAG and will be happy to return whenever our journey takes us to Istanbul. Greetings to the staff!❤️

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good, offering quite a variety of options. Free tea and coffee all day.

The lounge area offering tea and coffee could be better stocked. On most occasions there was no water in the kettle and bo milk. Thus area could be improved. The cleaning staff only cleaned the rooms at 15h00 every day which was quite late. The neighbors opposite the hotel, who I believe could have been the owners of the hotel, were noisy until late and early hours especially over the weekend. Totally inconsiderate to guests.
