What we like the most is the staff kindness and friendly. The Turkish breakfast was nice and varied. The restaurant at the terrace was also nice, however not much choice (only 3/4 to choose from). As for the room we stayed, in one side we had the view of the street and walls, but fairly compensated by the magnificent view of the mosque, especially at the restaurant terrace. We also loved hearing the prayers chant, it was so beautiful, calming and peaceful. The hotel is also located close to shops and restaurants and short walking distance of the tourists attractions. Overall we will definitely come back.

What I would say, it’s the place is not quite suitable for the wheelchairs users as there are steps before accessing the hotel entrance.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarnic Hotel. The location is amazing, just a 3-minute walk from the Sultanahmet Mosque, right in the heart of the historic city center. From the terrace, it almost feels like you can step right into the mosque, specially creating an incredible ambiance at night! The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast is definitely good, with plenty of options. The staff is super friendly. A big thank you to Emrah, Ridvan, Gülcan, and of course the rest of the team. The staff was very good, cooperative. Overall, our stay was perfect. Cleanliness was on top. They have provided kettle, tea and coffee material in room free of charge. Room and toilet was perfect without any issue. Heating system was also good. Our room have blue mosque view so that was amazing.

When we arrived at hotel, they said you booked economy room which do not have window but he upgraded without any charge. But the thing i do not like that they should mention in their post about it. Because when I booked a room it showed a room with window and blue mosque view. But other than this, we did not find any difficulty, staff was cooperative and helpful. Our stay was so good. And this hotel is very near to tourist attractions. So 10/10.

This is the second time my sister and I have stayed in this hotel, as we were already very satisfied with everything the first time. The staff is super friendly, helpful, always available, in short, no complaints. We had the most contact with Mr. Emrah, whom we contacted before our arrival and he fulfilled our every wish, helped us, advised us, always smiling, he is simply the best. Although the entire hotel staff is great, he is an exception and is simply one-of-a-kind. The location of the hotel is excellent, the food is delicious and varied, the cleanliness is top notch, the price is reasonable and acceptable. We warmly recommend it to everyone who wants to have the best location in Istanbul, a city of several million people, and everything that a hotel should offer to its guests. The location was great, close to everything, safe area, lots of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was lovely with vegetarian options. The staff were friendly & very helpful.

When I booked it, more than a month in in advance, I specifically asked if I could please have a room with a view? They responded & said they would try their best. When I arrived I had a very nice room but it didn't even have a window! I asked if there was any chance of moving me, it felt a bit claustrophobic. But they said the hotel was full, there wasn't another room they could move me to. A bit disappointing, but all in all the Sarnic was great & I would stay there again.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We arrived to the hotel around 1am and it wasn't a bother at all to prepare some food for us on arrival. On our last day, whilst we were waiting for the transfer to the airport, we have been offered tea and coffee on several occasions also with no extra cost. The view from the terrace is beautiful and very relaxing. The room was comfortable, with air con, and clean and with coffee, tea and mini bar available. Towels were changed everyday also. The location is brilliant and we ended up walking everywhere. We had a lovely stay with really nice food also.

Overall our experience was very positive. Just would like to mention we felt that the dinner portion was fairly small mainly for a man. On one occasion, at dinner, we were told that there were no glasses available and we had to drink from the plastic water containers (which wasn't a big deal really anyway).

The staff were incredible!! From allowing us an early check in (after 24+ hours of travel from New Zealand) to helping with lost airport luggage - the hospitality was top notch. The location was also perfect as it was super close to the Blue Mosque / Ayasofya and other attractions. The traditional Turkish breakfast was also delicious. Rooms were clean and provided what was needed for this trip.

The greatest thing about this hotel is it's location. It was 5 minute walk to Ayasofya and 10 minutes walk to Topkapi. A seafront also was nearby. We were taking walks from hotel and have seen all the great places. No need for taxi. The hotel itself is nice, and the personnel is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We also got dinners included, and this was a very good decision because food in Istanbul is crazy expensive at this moment.

Dinner is always the same: same 4 basic dishes you can choose one from, and appetizers were changing

It was in a brilliant situation, in walking distance from the major tourist attractions. The staff were very helpful, on reception they were friendly and obliging. We didn’t see the bedroom cleaning staff but our towels were changed and the bedding was changed after 3 nights of our 5 night stay. Kitchen staff were good too! View from the rooftop restaurant/bar/sitting area was breathtaking! Ahmed on reception was especially friendly.

At first it appeared a little care-worn. It would not be suitable for anyone who is not very mobile. There are stairs

A charming pensione in a perfect location to explore Istanbul. The staff led by Hikmet were warm, friendly, welcoming and so helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. I particularly enjoyed fresh local yogurt, delish fresh fruit, The fresh bread and amazing Turkish chocolate and nut spread with a fresh coffee was a great way to start the day. Hikmet was always available to support our group with everything from airport transfers, tours and finding a quality carpet shop.
