Location

No late checkout just reserve one more night

Family room (1 double bed & 1 super single bed) was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, amenities as expected. MacDonalds just next door - handy when we had heavy rain on 2 of the 4 days we were there.

Location - something we were not aware of when we booked the hotel. It is located a short walk down a slope from Taksim Square. But the direct tramway to Sultanahmet where the main attractions were was a long, long way down a steep slope from the hotel which meant we had to walk a long way up, 10-15 mins, on the return journey. We later found out that we could transfer to a funicular to travel up the slope to Taksim Square to walk the short way down the slope to get back to the hotel. The funicular ride was only a 2-min ride, but the fare, at 20 TRY, was the same as the 6-7 stops to Sultanahmet on the tramway. The slope in front of the hotel meant it was difficult for taxis to stop in front of the hotel, so passengers were normally dropped off at Taksim Square.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Mehmet was the person that from the beginning contacted me directly and helped me setting up the airport pickup/drop-off, and a day tour. The breakfast was really nice and convenient. You cant beat the location for the price. The bottom line, the staff made us feel safe and comfortable.

The building is pretty inside, the rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. However, some small details could make this hotel even more fabulous for example, re-grout the tiles in the shower or new bathroom fixtures could improve.

The hotel is located in Taksim Square - in front of the metro station and near many attractive hubs …the room was good for the price….the food was way better than my last stay in the hotel….

The hotel needs some maintenance ( especially in the shower cabinets) , also more choices and enhancements are needed for the breakfast…some minor innovations will take Taksim metro park to another place

The location was excellent, the facilities were average. 

Before our stay, they offered us nice rooms on the fourth floor, but they actually gave us rooms on the fifth floor that were less than we expected. The room wasn't as nice as the one we saw. The breakfast was not up to a five-star hotel standard. It was average, and when we asked for scrambled eggs, they told us it's an extra cost.!! We couldn't lock the bathroom door with the key. 

I had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. I would especially like to thank Mr. Mohamed at the reception for his outstanding service. He was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. His kindness and hospitality made my experience even better. Thank you again for the great service!

Staff friendly and accommodating

Rooms very tired, bathrooms in particular in need of major renovation. Great variety for breakfast buffet, however 1 very old 2 slice toaster that takes 10 minutes to toast is not at the standard required.

Excellent breakfast

I had a bad experience at the hotel because they only accepted credit cards with a code or cash. I had to call my bank to enable code-only payments, which was frustrating, which I was not able to do, so, I ended up paying in cash!!! Not sure why the managers insisted on that instead of verifying the credit card with passport?!?! Super strange!

Cleanness, Staff & Location

It maybe not suitable for elder people because of the stairs you need to use to reach the hotel. But it is ok for younger people

Felt safe, secure. Check-in staff spoke English. In Dining hall, the supervisors spoke good English.

Breakfast choices could have been better, some days hot milk was missing and we needed this to make our Indian milk tea. If we went late for breakfast, some items would get over early and were not replaced. On Sunday's, service was a bit late , boiled eggs were served a bit late.
