Very good value for money in Istanbul, where hotels are often expensive. The room was surprisingly large, and it was very clean throughout. It’s a in a great location only about 5-10 minutes walk from the main centre of Üsküdar, and the staff are all great. We stayed there for three nights and had a very comfortable stay.

If paying with a foreign card, make sure you PAY IN CASH, since their card machine was unable to charge in the local currency of Turkish lira, and instead charged the card in GBP at a very old exchange rate (since currency devaluation in Turkey is very fast, this meant that this payment was £17 more expensive than if I’d used Turkish lira in cash) - despite this the staff was very helpful in refunding the card payment and letting us pay in cash. Also, on a bright morning the curtains still let a bit of light into the room.

Because the room was count as a studio, and it has all the facilities to make the breakfast ourselves. we were so happy about that to have a freedom to make whatever we like for the breakfast plus the shops are just next door.

Overall was good, the hotel is not a 5 Star Hotel therefor we didn't expect more than what it was. 1-Good and helpful Staff. 2- Good Cleaning. 3- Close to many facilities.

The room was spacious and clean. Everything seemed new, beside some small details in the bathroom that needed to be finished. There was everything provided - soap, shower gel and hair drier. If we requested anything, it was immediately provided. The receptionist from Gana was super nice and friendly, and thankfully he was speaking very good English. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was very fast, accept some occasions, where perhaps more people logged in at the same time. The location was great. Very convenient to restaurants, and there is 2 big supermarkets 1 min away. Very nice bazars 5 min walk, and some nice cheap shops.

There was some odd smell in the room, but nothing disturbing. Some of the staff at the reception was very unfriendly and didn't even greet us (or make eyer contact) when we were going in and out. The rooms showed on the photos were beige and bright, but we were in a room that was blue, and not much sunlight coming in.

Overall great experience. I even began missing the guy who sings every morning.

WiFi was a little dodgy in some spots but not bad overall. Power went out a few times, but they fixed it quite quickly. Perhaps the only negative is that the cleaning ladies would be talking quite loudly in the mornings.

Desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Clean and convenient. Great location, access to ferry close by.

Wifi is very poor, practically non-existent. No land-line is available if you need to make an emergency call (for example, if cellphone is inoperable). Some better maintenance is required in bathroom- rusty corners.

The hotel is based a 10-15 min walk from the Metro station and the river. You have two decent size grocery shops only a few steps away from the shops, an amazing local soup kitchen and multiple bakeries and restaurants on the way. During our two weeks travel through Turkey we have used 7 hotels and this one had the most comfortable bed, nicest staff, and offered a crazy amount of space. It could do with a little bit of TLC on the visual side of things like peeling wallpaper etc. but this is so unimportant really. The hotel room was clean, lovely warm, had a very nice view, good lightning, a functioning kitchen with all the utensils you need, including a tea pot! The bathroom was very clean, large with good shower head!

There is nothing to dislike about this place.

Good location, close to Üsküdar center, supermarkets and restaurants. Our room was on the back of the house, very silent and fresh. You can cook, wash your clothes and iron them there. The workers are very kind and helpful.

Instead of damaged Teflon pans, it may be more useful to put one stainless steel pan and something to boil water and make tea.

The guys at the hotel were so helpful. I was traveling with my daughter who had a cosmetic op in Istanbul. They provided us with extra kitchen bits as we cooked in the room quite a lot. They also gave us free ice when needed. The rooms were comfortable and spacious (furniture a bit tired but in keeping with the great price), beds were comfy, shower hot and decent pressure and plenty of fresh towels and loo roll every day.

The Wifi was a bit weak but didn’t stop us streaming Netflix 😁

Great position,very convenience!The bus station is at the front of the hotel.10 mins walk to the ferry station and metro station.A lot of resturants around. The staffs are very nice and polite.The bed is very comfortable.Though the hotel is besides the road,but it's very quiet at night. Recomended it!

Kitchen could have been a little better stocked with utensils, and less worn out cookware, but the staff were happy to provide when asked.
