Üsküdar Otel is a small hotel where you won't have the feeling that you are just an ordinary guest. It has friendly staff who always reacted to our needs, helped with the luggage and always asked if we need anything. You could always ask them for more towels, blankets, recommendations for the city, tea or other things. The room in the hotel has everything you need: an own bathroom, an air conditioner, a cabinet, bed table, table with chairs, and even a small fridge. We booked a breakfast for every morning which was nicely prepared and kept us full for the whole day. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It is located on the Anatolian side right next to the Üsküdar Marmaray station. From there you have the central metro line, various buses and ferries to all important Anatolian and European parts (e.g. Eminönü, Karaköy, Beşiktaş, Kadiköy, etc.). The journey to and from both airports was uncomplicated – either by public transport, taxi or shuttle. Although Üsküdar is a rather residential area and therefore comparatively quiet, there are shops and restaurants around the hotel where you can get food to way cheaper prices than in the touristic European side.

If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs with you as the walls are quite thin. Depending on your room neighbours, it might be clairaudient.

I loved the location and the fact it overlooks the ocean. Uskudar is my favourite area in Istanbul and it has so much to offer. The hotel is 5 mins away from my fav cafe payedar and walking distance to marmary metro that takes you to the airport and different parts of istanbul.

The double room is quite small but good for a solo. And its what you pay for

Breakfast is extra so I grabbed coffee and croissants over near the ferry terminal. The main point in favor of the Uskudar Hotel is the location, about 3 minutes' walk to the ferries to Europe. Price is very reasonable and rooms on the upper floors even have views.

Conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, and public transport. Staff was kind, helpful, and although not all of them mastered English, they all made an extra effort to communicate and make our stay as pleasant as possible! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Breakfast and amenities are basic but sufficient. Noise from urban surroundings and nearby mosques might bother some guests.

Hotel is close to everything. Easy to access metro, boats, shops, restaurants.

Beds are too firm. Elevator would be great, especially since dinning area is on top.

Nice staff, very welcoming and attentive. Room is ok for a 2-star hotel, clean. Location is excellent, the hotel is next to the small bazaar, very close to pier and sights. Nice terrace with a good view. It was a relaxing stay, I felt safe and welcomed.

hotel needs renovation

Located in the heart of Üsküdar, close to all amneties, attractions. Beautiful sea view from the cafe terrace. Great, welcoming and helpful staff. The room and hotel was beyond our expectations. Would definitely recommend without hesitations. Thank you

As the rooms don't have windows, some kind of ventilation would have been good

I felt really good in this hotel after staying there for 12 nights. They made me feel like home, always caring about me and giving me a solution for anything I need. They are lovely and very kind people, and they treated me like a princess. Everything is very clean, the food is good and they have free chai and coffee. The location is also perfect, as it's very close the ferries and one stop away with metro from the european side, so it's very convenient and easy to move around. Also Uskudar is a good place to stay as a tourist, a lot cheaper than the european side and the people are very nice. It feels safe and I will definitely stay here again in my next visit to Istanbul. If you are coming to Istanbul I recommend this hotel so much!! You won't regret it.

The breakfast was every day the same.

It is very conveniently located - right near shops and very good authentic restaurants. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Sometimes you can hear a noise from the outside.
