Location or the hotel is awesome. View from the room and restaurant were great. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfy. Street/ square facing rooms can be a bit noisy, but that's to be expected - we were able to rest pretty well anyway.

This is not really a complaint, more like...a suggestion. Rooms were cleaned everyday, but cleaning crew never left more than one toilet paper roll in the bathroom - the one in the holder. As the toilet paper was really thin, it made morning routine for my friend and myself...ummm...a bit challenging😅. Thankfully the situation was never truly dire, but, for less morning stress, either change the type of toilet paper used or leave at least two rolls in the bathrooms. 😂

It would have been nice if the hotel had a bar and spa facilities but appreciate that it is not really big enough to have those sort of facilities. The restuarant was nice and the rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.

Limited facilities and you really had to go out of an evening or stay in your room. There was nothing to do in thehotel at night. It would also have been nice to have had a spa or access to masage or pool. After being robbed by two separate taxi drivers and didn't dare take another taxi - although I understand that Uber are nowout there and treat an individual fair.

This hotel is in the most perfect location...right across from the river and surrounded with food options & marketplace! I got a room upgrade in my first stay upon arrival in Uskudar which had a nice window view to the river and a beautiful mosque. It was slightly bigger room in size on a Mezzanine corner level. They even prepared me a sandwich at 4AM as I'd to leave early to catch my flight! How sweet! On my return stay, I got a smaller room and half-size window...and I had fallen ill that day so it served the purpose to just quietly rest. The cleaning staff were quick and efficient to clean the bathroom sink etc.. quickly when I threw up there sadly. The staff brought me some fresh-cut lemons without any charge, and I paid for the sparkling water from the minibar. I'm grateful for their care & service. Elevator access is huge plus in Turkish hotels.

The rooms weren't as soundproof so I had to use my ear plug to sleep...not a huge deal though.

+ room was clean overall + two free water bottles and kettle available in the room + very central location close to Üsküdar ferry and Marmaray station + since I had a room facing the backside of the hotel, noise was not an issue for me (but I can imagine if it had faced the streetside it would have been very noisy, as one can read in other comments) + WiFi was fine most of the time

- when my friend was visiting me in the room (in the afternoon, not at night), the reception immediately called my room phone and asked for passport details to be shared - I didn't like this attitude of mistrust and total surveillance of the guests - TV in the room was hard to navigate (many channels were not available and there was no overview of the available channels) - breakfast could start a bit earlier (it only started from 7 am onwards)

The location is just back from the waterfront and we had the advertised view of the Bosphorus from our room. At sunset it was stunning. There are numerous restaurants and eateries to choose from within a single minute's walk. Ferries, buses, Metro and taxis are all within two minute's walk. Both the main and back streets are busy, lively and friendly places. It feels safe. Our room was of an adequate size. The air-conditioning worked well and is quiet. Attendance to a reported problem was quick; maintenance and repair were carried out in a timely manner. The restaurant is bright, airy and air-conditioned. It has a roof terrace option, which is great for an even better view of the Bosphorus and the European side of Istanbul over breakfast or dinner. All the staff were helpful, efficient and friendly.

Although advertised as soundproof, our neighbouring guests were noisy, but not excessively, so on a couple of nights but we could hear them through the walls sufficiently to wake us at times. Morning calls to prayer from the Mosque very close nearby occasionally woke us but that's part of visiting Istanbul, so it doesn't count :-)

Great Hotel, very clean and super comfortable bed. Staff is kind and helpfull. The location is perfect, in front of the bosphorus, easy to take the ferry to go to the european side. Area not as crowded with tourists as the european side, cheaper prices for restaurants, more authentic. I recomend 100%!!! Thank you to all the staff for their great work!

I had a few issues with the room when I first checked in as there was a staircase right in front of my window where staff would sit and chill and the AC wasn't working. Since I'm a lady travelling alone I felt very uncomfortable and spoke to the staff. They gave me another room and fixed the AC. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect!

The staff was not well versed with the use of public transport so whenever I wanted to travel by bus they were not able to help me. It took a little convincing to get them to change my room as I felt a little unsafe, but once they changed my room I had zero complains.

Hotel was Situated in a perfect location to explore the anotolian side of Istanbul at the same time giving you access to the European side with metro, marmaray and boat links. Lots of nearby shops restaurants and cafes make it even more ideal. Hotel was clean and tidy and staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good and lots of choice. The most amazing thing is its right next door to The Mihrimah Sultan Mosque which is a 16th century Ottoman mosque overlooking the waterfront  Would definitely book again.

Was content with the facilities. However a duvet on the bed would have been ideal as I'm not sure but the night can be a bit chilly and hotels here seem to just dress the bed with a sheet but wasn't too much of a issue.

The hotel is great, the bed was comfortable, the staff are very pleasant, but there is no car parking. We had to park in a public car park about a kilometre away. There was not a great view from out bedroom window, but there is a great view of the Marmara Straights from the dining room on the forth floor. There is also a great roof top area, where you can sit drink tea, and enjoy the view.

Thee was no car park as advertised.
