Very attentive team, from the security check person (yes, you have to go through security ark), at the lobby, at the bar, and at the hotel restaurant. Room & bathroom are very spacious with a balcony, with views to the sea (not the beach as there's no beach nearby). We stayed in the 4th floor, in a corner, that was very quiet. Room was spotless, super clean, and we had complimentary water every day. Breakfast had many options, lots of fresh fruit, different honeys, marmalades, and Latte's are very good. We ate several times at the hotel restaurant (nothing nearby unless you go by car or using Uber - great and cheapest option). We tried the lasagna, the salmon, and the filet mignon. They give you a complimentary starter very tasty. A nice restaurant 20 minutes by car is Adebaye in the port. The hotel is 2 hours by car from Efeso and 2.5 - 3 hours to Pamukkale and Lake Salda (Pamukkale & Lake Salda are not worth it as it's not allowed to enter in the water - many people does it but there are clear signs not to do it, so you pay for just the views quite far away).

Price vs. quality is unbalanced. We come from Barcelona (which is a expensive city) and Turkey is even more, and the quality you get is okish but not exceptional. The beach is too far away, 1 hour by car. The hotel though has a special deal with a Beach club is Cesme but we didn't ask for the price.

Service are very friendly and professional from front door, Administration and Breakfast Cousine, where young and Beautiful girls/ladies provide You best of Hospitality and Respect to feel Yourself a very specials! Nice girls were so kind in Restaurant and make my stay even more enjoing and comftable (Ms. Suray and Caniya!!!). New hotel with near door to Shopping Mall make it resonable and usefull stay! Recomended highly! And VIEW from the balcone reminded me NICE, but with Turkish delicios taste!

The location, the view, amenities and the staff were all so nice. Seriously, there is no better location than this. You're essentially right next to a huge mall and all sorts of stores, plus the subway and bus station to go anywhere in the city centre. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they all spoke great English as expected in Izmir. The view was so good from the room as well! Definitely our new favourite stay when we're in the city.

First time I ever got charged for coffee capsules in the room. It’s really odd that they were made part of the minibar. We ordered pasta late at night, and it was the first fettuccine alfredo we had that came without creamy sauce. Just dry pasta. No condiments came with the schnitzel either, except some jam you'd expect for breakfast. We haven't tried their in-room sushi menu, but we did go to the restaurant that provides it, sushi barba, and it was the best sushi we had in a long time. Given that it's a relatively new hotel and it was off-season, we expect all this to improve.

The hotel's restaurant served a delightful array of dishes, from local specialties to international cuisine, each prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with exquisite taste. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, with a wide selection of both hot and cold options to start the day right. What truly set Hayat Regency apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, providing personalized recommendations for activities and ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my stay. So very comfortable! And staff was so kind when I was ill. Room is large, bed is incredibly comfortable(and I should know, I don’t think I left it for two days). The staff was amazing in the hotel, in the spa, and in the restaurant. While hopefully no one else gets ill on their trip, if they do, you want to end up here. As expected, the services were top notch: express laundry returned everything in only a few hours, they came to refresh the room whenever we called for things, they extended our stay three separate times. The spa, my husband reports, is amazing. Our room overlooked the bay, with a lovely view of Izmir from the balcony, as well.

Honestly? Nothing. It was fabulous. A bit weird not having a door on the bathroom, but doors to the shower and toilet made it just fine.

The modern facade and the facilities except the lack of designated car park

Lack of a designated car park in a 5 star hotel is unacceptable in particular when we spent more than 2hours being trapped inside the shopping mall car park in which the hotel doesn’t hold any reserved lot (see the welcome disaster we had to suffer on our arrival due to a local football game so they said)

We were upgraded on arrival and the room was very large. A large and comfortable bed, large bathroom with a warm and strong shower and plenty of space to put our personal items. The room had a balcony which was nice to sit on when the weather was warm. We had one hot day, but the room was very cool and the air conditioning was completely silent! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The hotel was very new and easy to reach from the highways and connected to a large mall with many restaurants to choose from. We particularly liked the food court on the top floor of the mall. Free valet parking was included during our stay. There is a direct tram connection to the city center, the journey takes about 20 minutes. Finally, the staff was excellent: friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and would like to visit again in the future.

We went to the pool, but because it's on a higher floor it was a bit windy and the weather wasn't warm enough to make us stay very long. The pool was not heated, which is fine in summer, but it was unusually cold when we visited. The staff was very helpful though. One of the control panels in the room (to control the hallway lights) was not working, the lights could only be turned off along with all the other lights. A minor inconvenience.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and had an overall exceptional experience. The services provided by the hotel were outstanding. Room service and cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, and every detail seemed to be meticulously taken care of.

I was disappointed with the reception staff. They were arrogant and their demeanor was poor..

It was sparkling clean, great location, easy access to İstinye park which is one of the best shopping areas in Izmir

The breakfast was not on the top and we had to ask staff to refill the juices, they closed breakfast earlier than usual, and the pool was closed last day we wanted to use it because of technical issues.

The swimming pool is very small, and impossible to accomodate not even the 1/10 of the residents. Very few chairs in the area (only around 10). We were able to swim only the first day. The rest of the days the pool area was full from morning till late PM hours.
