The location near the Ancient Agora site in Izmir (making a visit easy) was the reason we chose the hotel. It is a gem! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Wi-Fi was strong. The included breakfast range was comprehensive and tasty. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The on-site restaurant had a comprehensive menu and the dinner we had was tasty. The evening live entertainment in the restaurant was a bonus.

Yes, L‘Agora is a noisy place. There is people and live music constantly in the courtyard and you NEED ear plugs or head phones to take a nap. But there is people and live music constantly… :-) very charming. There is also great food and the perfect location in the bazar. But most important, L‘Agora has the nicest, most hospitable and helpful staff you can ask for. Especially the desk manager Turken: He is full of useful information and suggestions and ready to help organize any excursion you might want to make. ***** Five star service!

The location of the hotel was excellent, everything was in walking distance! The metro an the bus stations were very close! During the day the restaurant/cafeteria were full with people from the bazaar! Also the live music was very nice! I was a bit worried for the noise but at 23:00 the music is off and you can have a good night sleep! The staff at the reception did an amazing work! Me and my girlfriend were asked and offered a complimentary tea or coffee from the reception almost every single afternoon! It is just those small things and thoughts that make you feel like home! Also, a big shoutout to the cleaning staff from keeping our room and the whole property spotlessly clean! Thank you for a very nice stay in Izmir! I would totally recommend your property to anyone traveling there and I personally would choose the same hotel when I visit Izmir again soon!

Not that it bothered me that much, but as a recommendation I would like to suggest you to have more option at the breakfast bouffe!

Lovely renovated old Trade-house in Kemeralti, very good beds, stylish rooms, fully equipped bathrooms with great shower. Very clean, towels are changed, good standard. Nice staff, very helpful and well informed. Good breakfast, Starbucks coffee! Within the court is a restaurant, always full and nice quality, higher prices than usual. With wine! Every day live-music in lounge-style, Jazz, Pop with excellent musicians and singers. Not to miss!

Smoking everywhere and it creeps into the rooms. If you want to sleep before 11pm there is talking and smoking and singing from the court. Please add juice for breakfast.

The location is perfect. A real gem, an oasis even, in the middle of the Old Town of Izmir. Here you can sense the history and splendour of the real Izmir. The location makes it ideal for a short walk to any of the local highlights and as soon as you step out of the hotel door you are immersed in the old town market. AND YET - once you are inside the hotel you have the beauty and opulence of a beautiful space with fabulous food. Every time we ate, there was live music, be it lunch time or evening. A real atmosphere and most definitely our "go to place" for future trips to Izmir.

Super spacious and comfortable (bed, shower, all in general was great) - we even got upgraded which was really nice! Incredibly nice and helpful staff Restaurant in the hotel - convenient when too lazy to go out for dinner - was quite good Airport was relatively easy to access within 50 min (2 metro lines)

Breakfast was ok - nothing too fancy though Had to walk through the fish part of the market to get to the hotel from the main road & can be a bit worrisome to walk in the market at night when all shops are closed

Given our short stay, the location of L'Agora was perfect. Nestled right in the middle of the bazaar and close to multiple modes of transport, it was ideal for exploring the old town on foot, and organising day tours out to Efes, etc. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. When we arrived, the concierge was kind enough to offer us the choice of 2 available rooms, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are as they appear on the website. Every room overlooks the central courtyard, which has live music and diners until around 11pm. The windows are double-glazed and we were not bothered by the sounds but earplugs are advised if you have noise sensitivity. Smoking is allowed in the central courtyard, and there can be a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the rooms, but that's something you generally can't avoid in the region. A few people have complained about the shower being cold, but you just need to run it for a few minutes to heat up. The water temperature and pressure is incredible. Overall, I would stay here anytime I visited İzmir.

L' Agora is a fun, cool and comfortable place to stay in the Kemeralti Bazaar. It feels like a secret place away from the bustle of the bazaar and is an amazing place to just sit, have a drink and people watch in the covered central atrium. They have live music every night until 11pm which creates magical and romantic atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming, professional, helpful and responsive. The breakfast was extensive with both hot and cold options. The rooms were finished to a high standard and particularly enjoyed the painted ceilings. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Izmir if you are looking for somewhere a bit quirky, with high standards and charm.

Beautiful inn hotel located in the heart of the city. Hotel’s restaurant is fairly priced and tasted. Stuff members was also always nice and gentle. We arrived to the hotel at midnight and the streets was basically empty. It may seem a little bit sketchy but it is totally safe in the neighboorhood. We always walked through the hotel via main road,which is only 50 meter away from the hotel. Public transports are easily reachable. A taxi is always there if you just walk to the main road.

Live music is pretty good but on the other hand insulation is poor. It can be challenging for the early birds. Price could be relatively cheaper compare to the fares of the five star hotels in the area.

The hotel is right at the edge of the old market. Great central location. Staff are very helpful, they also park your car for you, which is a great help in busy towns like Izmir! Big room, big bed, spotlessly clean and they gave us an upgrade to a suite. Breakfast was good and the hotel has a beautiful cafe in the old courtyard, always busy and well managed. The building is an enormous old stone lodge, beautifully restored. It is also very close to the ancient sites we wanted to visit.

Nothing really. We had a great stay. The market closes quite early and not great for wandering around at night we were told, but we felt safe the whole time.
