It is an absolutely wonderful and perfectly located hotel, with hospitable and accommodating staff! Amazing! Thank you soo much for such an amazing holiday, that I could have and fully enjoy thanks to you! Recommend anyone, visiting Izmir! The hotel has a perfect location, in the heart of Izmir, by the seaside. Perfectly communicated with the rest of the city, thanks to nearby tramways and ship trams. Close to the big bazaar, Ataturk Museum, plenty of restos and cafes - I will come back definitely!

This was our first time in Turkey and we stayed a week in Izmir based at the Marla Otel. We found it a great value hotel, the room was comfortable and clean. I have to say what really made our stay here was the staff. They are really genuinely friendly and helpful. Güneş the bell boy particularly went above and beyond to be of help and gave us lots of tips and suggestions for places to see or restaurants to try. Güneş English is really good and it added to our holiday experience to chat with him every day. Bersel was also ready with a smile to brighten your day and happy to help in any way and her English is also excellent.  We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. There is a good choice of cheeses, salad, breads and cereal. There is also different specialty dishes that varied each day; fried eggplant in tomato sauce, potato dishes, sausage dishes ( I don't know what the dishes were called but the ones I tried were all tasty!). Look out for the hotel cat that usually makes an appearance at some stage before she's whooshed back out the door! The rooms were always clean and comfortable and ours had a great view of the city from the 9th floor. The location of the hotel is excellent for heading out on foot and we walked everywhere in Izmir.

There was nothing I didn't like. The facilities were as you would expect of a three star hotel, maybe not brand new but overall the price reflects this. There was some noise from the street especially at the weekend but it didn't stop us from sleeping.

Reception lady and Mr. Goondy were great. They helped us to upgrade our room and get the best suit! Goondy( hopefully I am correct about his name) always problem solver ( good English speaker) and supportive and friendly person !

We got the best suit which it need a bit more attention with Spa ( jet waters didn’t work ) and toilet facilities. Also again, because of the electricity cost, mostly corridors where so hot and kept dark. Property couldn’t provide ice and anything which it need extra electricity usage! We got ice from next door restaurant!

Centrally located few meters from the ocean. Friendly staff. Nice clean hotel. Beautiful reception area and restaurant. Absolute fantastic restaurant in the building next door to the hotel. Best food in Türkiye. Very nice coffee/tea area.

Parking is a problem, although otoparks available a block away. Breakfast is not great. For someone that doesn’t eat bread or dairy, go somewhere else.

the location is great. it’s dead quiet, but you are in a center and the view is stunning 😍

they self-tipped themselves on the exchange rate and on fee occasions i tried to call them back, day time, several times with hourly intervals - no one picks up 🤷‍♀️

The staff was super helpful and lovely, they answered all of our questions and were always there if needed. Rooms were spacious and clean, the curtains blocked out the sun very well which was great given we were there in August. Amazing location, really close the to pedestrian street alongside the see and close to an amazing restaurant just on the corner.

The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly.

I stay to this hotel when I visit Izmir since 2014. The internet connection has remained the same although the technology has evolved. The owner should definitely improve the internet services.

very good location, very nice stuff. is a little bit noisy on friday and saturday but on sunday was very ok. the beds are a little firm/hard for my taste, for others it seems they were good

50 meters from the sea. Many km kordon ,60 meters to go to the bigest pazar of town very cheap,the taxis have taximeter you pay what yoy are seeing frendly people everywhere , careful drivers ,clean city , etc
