Very friendly and helpful host. The property is near the city center, but in a quiet street. It is a house with a yard (like atrium) with tables and chairs where they serve good breakfast. There are cats wandering in the yard (and I like cats). The room was clean and it had a private bathroom (I cannot comment on dormitory rooms, cause I never stayed in them). The Ephesus Museum (don't confuse it with the Ephesus archaeological site), St. John's Basilica and the Selcuk fortress are in walking distance. There're also shops and restaurants nearby.

Please note that cards are not accepted at the property, but for me this was not a big problem, cause I had cash.

Perfect stay. Hosts lovely, spoke fluent English and very helpful genuine people. Not more than 5 minutes walk from the Dolmus bus station and centre of selcuk, where you can travel to efes in 10 minutes. Tuncay is a little gem on the edge of the old part of town, which is very interesting. locals seem very poor but extremely friendly. Comfy bed very quiet , fresh produce for breakfast and reasonable rates.

We loved everything…Perfectly situated five minutes from the train, bus station and town centre. Wonderful courtyard to eat in and hang out in; friendly welcoming staff, beautiful room, spotless bathroom, peaceful quirky area, AMAZING breakfast that set us up for the day, helpful tourist information from brother and sister team who run the place, and probably more things I have forgotten🤗

There was nothing we didn’t like… it was perfect

Very nice location, 5 minutes walk to the center and very close to bus station and train station. Included good breakfast (bread, butter, jam, omelette, salad, olives and coffee). Room with private bathroom, air conditioning and the beds were comfortable with fresh sheets. Wi-Fi was good and there is a nice garden where you can relax

Good location very close to the Ephesus archeological site. A small family business. The host speaks very good English and offered us valuable information. In fact, we changed our travelling plans according to his advice, and we did not regret it! Clean rooms and bathrooms, enough toiletries. Breakfast based mainly on vegetables and fruits.

It was ok.

Excellent location, comfortable walking distance to bus and rail/metro stations as well as shops restaurants and banks/PTT. Room upgraded since 2023 visit. Cuneyt and Rose are excellent hosts. Breakfast on the cool terrace is a pleasure. Look forward to staying at Tuncay again inchallah.

Nothing worth mentioning

We love everything!! Perfect location to visit the main attractions. The hotel is absolutely clean, breakfast was perfect, rooms are big, hot water, the outside area is soo lovely specially at night. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owner is amazing, we had a great time here and we made a good Turkish friend, plus we learnt to play backgammon, have a lovely dinner and in general so much fun 2 night turned into 4 nights here just chilling💞 (Probably the owner wants us out by then XD kidding) Thank you for everything Cüneyt!!!

Brother and sister who run it are amazing' really helpful. It's all laid out round the central court yard which is really good for hanging out and meeting other people staying there and has nice shaded areas' also the breakfast was good as well. Really convienient for Selçuk and Epheses

The owner and his family were very friendly. The place was very beautiful with wonderfully decorated yard. They provided very good and delicious breakfast. They also helped with travel. Where most of the people there are not well conversant in English, the pension owner was very fluent in English as if you were in a English speaking country which would help other nationals to get good suggestions. Also, the property is located in a good place from where you can take a walk to the Archaeological museum, Basilica of St. John, Byzantine aqueduct and local street market. The place is only a few minutes walk from the Selcuk train and bus station. Furthermore, many restaurants are located nearby.

I wouldn’t say it negatively, rather it would be even better if the room size would be a little spacious. But still the room was good for couple.

Very good breakfast on a pleasant terrace. Jelil is a good host with a wry sense of humour. Tuncay Pension is centrally located close to St John Basilica and all bus/dolmuș/taxi services.

The room needs investment but this is easier said than done as visitor numbers from Western Europe (once the mainstay of the Pension business) have plummeted.
