The location was great. Super central, and perfect for new year celebration. Banyan Tree hotel had the best rooftop in the city, and they had New Year’s Eve party, and it was amazing.

I got very confused about the changes as for some reason first booking charged me and then the hotel charged me for the second night. This made no sense. In the end I got charged 100$ more than what the booking com quoted.

The location was excellent as the hotel is linked shopping centres which are all fully air conditioned. Checking in and out was a breeze and service with a smile was the standard with all staff we met. The breakfast area was very relaxing and the varieties offered were to be commended.

Some of the specialty food in the courtyard was a little bit disappointing as they were a bit cold due to the food being made available for Muslims breaking their fast. Although this is very thoughtful of the establishment, consideration could have been given to keep the food warm as well as tidied up after the previous diners.

Exceptional breakfast spread! The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Complementary water in the rooms was served in the glass bottles, which made me extremely satisfied ☺️. Variety of tea and coffee pods for coffee machine in the room was nice. We’ve been very happy about the size of the king room. The location of the hotel is very convenient with direct access to the mall. Great housekeeping service. Special thanks for extending our check out time.

The breakfast is till 10:30am and the stock on some stations was not refilled from 9:50-10am onwards, which got refilled after asking a few times. Breakfast was extremely nice and it’s impossible not to enjoy it till the last minute 😁.

During the last 25 years, I have travelled twice a year, minimum, visited countries in the EU, Africa, Asia & Canada, I stayed in many hotels that are rated above 5 stars like Emirates Palace, Atlantis Dubai, Land of Legends, Rixos Sharm - Egypt, etc. Pavilion was not the luxurious hotel, but the facilities and friendly staff were really the best. Two issues happed to me at Pavilion hotel during my 6 days stay, first, cleaning staff thrown (by mistake) on of the boxes under the working desk, unfortunately, it was including brand new Clarks shoe. When I filed a claim about this, they were happy to give me full refund next day, second issue is that my wife liked a specific salad, I liked one of their tropical fruits as well and we were surprised that the restaurant manager and chef decided to bring it to us every day on breakfast when we inquired about these plates. It was a generous gesture from the hotel staff by responding to our requests free of charge. In addition to this, the location of the hotel is great, it is in the most vibrant area in Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Mall is in the same complex, very friendly staff and clean facilities. Pavilion will be my choice of stay. Wife and children were happy. Thanks to pavilion hotel team, you made our stay comfortable and enjoyable :-)

Have been to KL on many occasions. First stay here, great staff with a fantastic location. I chose to upgrade to a club suite (1106) with lounge access for a reasonable sum. This granted access to the club lounge (quieter then the main lobby eating area). Also included features such as reduced cost of laundry which was a nice touch. Modern features throughout with lovely art and a stylish infinity pool and well equipped gym (as far as hotel gyms go). Was happy to see AirPlay capability on the tv’s within the room to relax after spending the day in the city. Very friendly staff, especially in the hotel bar - The Cove. Above and beyond by the female hostess whom I forget the name of. Hit and miss with the bar tender skills dependent on the barman you land on the day. Lovely margarita on our last evening. Cleanliness was largely fantastic however cigarette butts left on the floor of the pool area are more the blame of other residents than hotel staff. Might suggest to not allow smoking there. One other issue that largely soiled the comfort of our room were stains (bodily fluids) within the toilet area of the bedroom which had been left by the previous occupier. I spoke with the cleaner on our floor whom directed me to reception about the issue and reception stated it would be resolved however 3 days later it had not. staff room convenience breakfast

even though i turned off the tv, it switched on by itself at 4 and 5am. also 1 of 2 sinks in the room couldn't drain because the plug couldn't be lifted.

Central to The Pavillion Shopping Centre and with direct access to an extensive food hall, enclosed access to other malls and possible to walk all the way to Suria CC /Petronas Towers undercover. If you want to be in the middle of the action then this is the place. Nice pool /gym on the top floor. Great breakfast selection catering to all tastes. Suaib was a great host in the mornings. Room was well equipped, modern, very quiet with a nice large bathroom, comfortable bed and dressing gowns Good value for the price

Nothing to fault but maybe the TV channels could be a little more extensive.

Clean and easy access to the Mall. Breakfast was awesome. Lots of varieties.

Check in just before 3pm and the room still not ready. Room only ready after 30-45 min. Same thing happen to my friend who check in the next day.
