Apart from the first night where we didn't get to sleep because of the insane karaoke from a nearby bar, everything was more than perfect. When we asked to get another room, we were upgraded to a huge and very beautiful flat with a gorgeous view over the garden and the cute (and very clean) little pool. We actually loved the little cabin we had booked, on our first day we saw lots of wildlife from the veranda, but the noise unfortunately killed the vibe. The flat however was completely silent and we all loved it. It had plenty of everything we needed, very thorough cleaning everyday and the balcony was also huge with two hammocks. The staff were all very kind and attentive, and really did everything possible for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Location was excellent, the beach was great and not overcrowded in general, the pool was clean and well-maintained and we saw a lot of different animals on our week of stay. I don't think there is a better place than this to be found in Playa del Carmen, would definitely chose to stay here again in future visits.

The noise in cabin 121, don't book it if you like to sleep. A kind advice is to isolate the cabin more, because I know we are not the only ones to complain about it. And if your customers write in advance to ask specifically about this, then be honest instead of hoping that we don't notice - this specifically almost costed you a star in my review. The only thing making up for it, was your staff's flexibility and great customer service.

As always in Mexico, beds are a little hard. Would be nice if property had in-house bar/ restaurant but given these are all around not necessary

This is the third year in a row that we stayed at the Riviera Maya Suites hotel. We always select a room or apartment with a full kitchen because a huge grocery store is approximately 2.5 blocks from the hotel. This year, we stayed in one of their beautiful 2-bedroom apartments. I love that they provide daily housekeeping. The staff is very friendly and always greet us like we are friends. The location is unbeatable - just half a block away from Fifth Avenue. Yet, despite its location so close to Fifth Avenue and all its noise and music, the property itself is a quiet and peaceful escape. There are two lovely beach clubs very close to the hotel. For those times we don't want the full service beach club experience, the hotel has beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas for their guests. We definitely plan to return again next year. Having visited three years in a row, I have noticed a bit of wear and tear in the facilities and some of the furnishings. But the apartments are fully functional and comfortable despite the years of use.

I loved the setting and cleanliness of villa. I enjoyed the pool even tho it had pollen and leaves in it, not much but it was noticeable.

My husband slipped and fell when housekeeper was cleaning the sidewalk which was his fault but the housekeeper shouldn’t have let us in that area. I thank god it wasn’t me because I have a knee replacement.

Manuel at the front desk was so kind and helpful. We loved that they had chairs and umbrellas that we could take to the beach about 2 blocks away. Pool area and hot tub were beautiful

At first we had a smell in our bungalow, but they took care of it immediately. I think that just comes with staying in a jungle like environment and a thatched roof.

Everything fitted nicely: Close to the beach, to restaurants, shops, street no. 5. Apartment and rooms were spacious. Kitchen was fine. Washing machine and dryer available. And very nice terrace with view to the lovely garden and pool.

Location was excellent-close to restaurants, grocery store, beach, and shopping. The suites are tucked in a quaint rainforest! The vegetation was amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful and super friendly. Cleaning staff worked extra hard for our crew of people! We loved doing yoga on the roof top terrace!

The booking promotion’s description for the site said beach chairs were included but non were available when we requested them. Beach towels were provided so made due.

The property is gorgeous- very forested and it feels like a sanctuary tucked away from the busy 5th avenue

I stayed in a thatched roof bungalow my first night, and I could hear the booming music from the busier streets which I found annoying and loud. But the staff were vey nice and moved me to a different t unit that had a cement roof and it was totally quiet. Also, with the thatched roof bungalow, I was awakened in the night by an animal scratching on the roof right above my head. It freaked me out and again, the staff very kindly moved me to a solid roof unit for the rest of my stay.

The location was perfect, the hotel was beautiful - a tropical oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue. We travelled with kids and the children loved the tropical gardens and the beautiful pool. We had wonderful creatures come and visit us. The staff were so friendly and helpful- Manual especially gave me a much needed pep talk and hug when I was very worried about my daughter when she was unwell - he even offered to jump on his scooter to collect the prescription. Very kind staff and a beautiful setting. We had one of the huts and it was a great decision. They give you towels, deck chairs, body pads etc at reception for the beach which was brilliant and saved the expense of a beach club if you just wanted to pop to the beach for an hour or two

We loved the staff, the location is perfect to beach and the main strip, the pool, the 2 resort cats and our bungalow was the perfect accommodation for the week! It's so pretty!

The only complaints I have are the mold on the window shade and that there was no hot water or water pressure. You can hear whoever is above you and we just happened to have a family with young kids above us who liked to run laps around their bungalow. Even with these things, we will stay here again because of how kind the staff are, the location and for the vibes!
