Location was perfect for us. A few steps from everything! The rooftop pool was warm and with great views day or night. Modern and clean room with comfy bed. Windows partially open. Nice, accommodating staff. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again when in Playa.

Noise: Do not stay at ANY hotel on 5ta Avenida if you're a light sleeper. Facilities: there was an issue with the A/C shutting off at about 3 am, only to turn on a few hours later. Thankfully there was a very powerful ceiling fan right over the bed. Windows need to be cleaned. There's a separate area for the toilet but the door is almost clear glass . Breakfast: Do not prepay for breakfast. There's many places to pick from with comparable prices.

Excellent location. They offer breakfast now 5 options. Food and service was excellent! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We spent two years in a row at this hotel and definitely be back next year for longer. The hotel is small, quite very well maintained. The room we had was spacious, and always clean. The hotel has to be proud of their staff and services they provide.

Liked everything

The hotel was clean and bed comfy. It was in a good location. The shower had hot water but you had to let it run for a couple minutes. No ice in machine is my only complaint

The hotel is located directly on the 5th avenue so it's perfectly in the middle of everything, a lot of restaurants and bars are around, as well as the beach is close.

It can get quite noisy, especially with a bar located directly in the hotel building and playing loud music until late hours. The windows are not soundproof so if you are a light sleeper like me, you won't be able to sleep at all. The elevator wasn't working during my stay which wasn't mentioned beforehand, could cause some trouble to some guests...

there were bugs in the room but we gently removed them w a cup. bring ear plugs

The elevator buttons don’t work well. Like at all!

Room was nice size and bathtub was great.

The towels were really raggedy. Plus TV and Internet didn’t work in the room. Luckily we could get a weak signal from Reef 38

The jacuzzi was great. There were two showers which is perfect for me and my girlfriend who prefer different temperatures. Very helpful and friendly reception staff and cleaners. The cafe that provides the breakfast is amazing. Their homemade breads are the best I've ever had. Don't forget about the pool on the roof!

The breakfast included is a little basic with only two slices of bread, three slices of melon and three slices of watermelon, with butter and jam. You have to pay extra for something else but it's only $100 pesos all really good. The jacuzzi was a little stained. The showerheads leaked a little. It's right on the main Street of Playa Del Carmen on which you will hear activity long into the night
