I stayed there almost two weeks. Most of the staff, including the manager, are doing their best to fulfill every request and ensure a pleasant stay, frequently checking in to see if everything meets my expectations. In particular, the gentleman who works in the morning was very helpful, even going so far as to drive my car out of the garage because of the steep entrance. The rooms are very spacious and clean. And the location of the hotel is amazing

There is a female staff member working in the late afternoon/night who didn’t seem interested in doing her job. She wasn’t answering the phone, was sitting on the couch scrolling on her phone, and gave a smirk with a lie as an excuse. The breakfast that’s included are two slices of toast, butter and jam. (It tasted still good tho) There is as well as construction going on at the moment right next door so sleeping in wasn’t really an option

Great location with car park included. (It's essential if you are driving to playa del Carmen as almost all private car parks have an hourly rate) La quinta avenida is right in the corner, so it's a very cool location for dinner, party, drinks, etc. Bear in mind that if you are a light sleeper, you will definitely need earplugs because there is noise coming from the street due to the centre location. It's 15-20mins walk to the ferry port if you want to enjoy a day in Cozumel as we did. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is ok. Overall prices were very decent for the position if you booked in advance.

Unfortunately, breakfast was very disappointing. We had a free genius breakfast, which included a small portion of fruit or lemonade, tea or coffee, and a toast slice with bread and butter. I am gluten-free, and I am used to carry my own bread around, but the waitress wasn't very accommodating for some extra butter and jam, very sad. Cleaning could be improved between guests as we found lots of dust and sticky floors

The location is fantastic. Underground parking was full when we arrived, but we were lucky to find street parking (free from 2200-1000 and then only 10 pesos per hour between 1000-2200). We only stayed one night so had to pay 20 pesos but for a whole 12 hr period, I can see this getting expensive. The room/balcony was spacious, front desk staff were very, very nice. The pool is 24 hours so a nice (cold) dip was welcome after a long travel day in warmer clothing. Highly recommend TacosMX and Chou Chous for eats.

Over half of the electrical outlets didn't work (but half did, so we were still ok). There was a very dirty mosquito net (?) thingy over our bed, which was falling off at the top anyways, so we made sure to tuck it behind and not have it touch us. Not sure of the point, unless you want to sleep with the patio door open but it didn't even cover the whole bed, so again, just an eyesore in our opinions. Everything else ok!

We stayed at Soho Playa for 5 nights and we were super comfortable. The rooms are big, have everything you need, a fridge, AC, big bathrooms, a little terrace, and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I had some requests and they not only provided what I needed but exceeded my expectations. I read many reviews and people were complaining about the breakfast and i do not undertand, it is better than nothing, you get coffe and bread take it or leave it, it is included, at least it is something. Also it is very convenient that they are next to a juice/salad/poke bowl place, we ate there a few times. The location was really good, they came to clean once every two days which was good enough for us. There is parking unpon availability and that was super helpful for us. I really wanted to thank Gabriela becuase she went above and beyond when i had a request, she helped us out so much during out stay.

The only thing i would say they could improve is the common terrace in the pool area, it looks like it needs more maintenance, but it works for the purpose of using the pool to relax for a bit.

I booked a room here last minute because I had an issue with my previous accommodation and the staff at Soho Playa gave me such a warm welcome and let me into my room way before the check in time. The location is also convenient, only a few steps away from Quinta Avenida and the beach. The rooms and bathrooms feel luxurious and spacious.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot. I loved the location and friendliness of the staff. It is close to everything, anything needed within walking distance.

Not really a breakfast, just cantaloupe and toast. i always felt like something was crawling on me in my room. Had to spray it down with bug spray. A little power wash and fresh paint would do wanders!

Very comfortable room and bathroom. Great that they have parking spaces available on site. Same lift from car to room. Staff is super welcoming and flexible

It is a very nice hotel, relatively central located but not in the middle of all the party. The staff was very nice and tried to help where they could.

There was nothing really, even unfortunate events (we had a power outage for 4h) were handled in a professional way.

Location was perfect, near 5th Avenue but without the noise. They allowed us to take a shower after our check out which was great after coming from the beach. The staff was really helpful since our TV did not work and they tried to fix it.

The mattresses were awful, the hotel should think about changing them.

Location is perfect! Next to Quinta Avenida, where you can find many restaurants and bars.

Breakfast was not incredible but included eggs, bread, juice and some fruits
