Large room, comfortable beds, great location, good air conditioning in room. Pool area was nice overall with natural shade from the building + palm trees and additional shade available until the umbrellas. Comfortable chairs around the pool area. Friendly hotel staff. Location is excellent! One block from 5th Ave and only a 5 minute walk to Playa Mamitas public beach.

The pool water was a bit on the cold side. Not too cold to use the pool, but a bit chilly until you get used to it. Aesthetics of the small (shallow) pool could be improved with a fresh coat of paint.

We had a huge beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and bedding. The AC and WiFi were great. Breakfast was good although a little expensive and the pool area was lovely. Amazing location close to everything but quiet

We had a little issue for an accidental booking for the wrong dates and by message they said it was no problem to change the dates but then via booking.com they made me pay an extra fee for the change, which was a little frustrating and not very clear. But this issue can be avoided by booking for the right dates straightaway. Also it’s not clear but there is no private parking and the payment can only be done with coins, which can be annoying to find especially if you are staying for a few days.

The staff was very friendly, the plants and trees inside the hotel made us feel in the middle of the jungle (in a good way), the location is incredible, we could walk everyday to the beach and were 10 m away from fifth avenue. the room was clean and big, the housekeeping was cute making funny towels origami every day.

Breakfast was really basic and not tasty. The room was good, however we sent a message to have twin beds which they never replied to, they just confirmed reception of the message and when we arrived we had to upgrade to a bigger room paying more just to have our 2 beds, if we had known before we would have booked another hotel. We arrived late and they gave us a room that was very noisy, we could literally hear a concert until 4 am... When we upgraded the following day, the room was way better noise wise.

Great location, 300 blocks from Playa Mamitas. Also 1 block away from 5ta Avenida (lots of restaurants and stores). Overall nice hotel with nice pool.

I was expecting to pay my hotel stay with credit card but the employee at the reception demanded that I pay in cash and I read no such thing when I reserved the room using Booking. That left me with less cash than expected. That action make it look like a cheap hotel that needed cash. Very disappointing action by the receptionist. Not sure if that was the hotel policy or just her but I did not like that at all.

The staff was friendly. The location is close to the tourist spots. Upon checking in the staff helped us navigate the parking app. The hotel is not a 5star resort. But knowing that we didn’t have the highest expectations. However we weren’t let down.

Pool hours are not long. There is construction going on. They were done before it got dark and didn’t seem to be a bother. We had a long flight and kids were wanting to swim. But after getting some dinner we discovered the pool closes at 8pm. The walk to beach isn’t far but this time of year the sargassum is bad.

It is a beautiful landscaped property that is conveniently located close to 5th Avenue. It has a Small and intimate feel. The pool is lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable

Beware a couple of the upper rooms are very noisy at night because of music from a nearby bar. It’s not the hotel’s fault but ask for a quiet room when booking. The ones on the side of the pool are quiet. I didn’t like that I had to pay for coffee pods, 2 for $5US (quite expensive)

Good location, only a block away from the beach and from the main strip with restaurants and bars. This does come with disadvantages such as noise (see below). The room and general facilities were very nice and well equipped, very clean. Pool was also nice and a good temperature. They have staff available 24/7 to help you check in. Would very much recommend if you can cope with the noise and to be honest I imagine all hotels in the area have the same noise issue.

Because it's so close to the strip, you do hear the noise and loud music of the bars during the night. Most adults should be able to sleep through this initially, but the karaoke bar next door consistently got very loud around 2 a.m. which woke us up for about 30 minutes each night. If you have kids you might want to find somewhere quieter. Staff were very friendly but not great at giving recommendations. Breakfast was optional but slightly disappointing.

Just what I needed to feel comfortable without feeling like I was at a sterile commercial hotel. The property itself is small and quaint. Lovely accommodations, super sweet staff, felt safe, quiet. It's a block off the main street, on an even lovelier street with great little restaurants and stores....straight shot to the beach. Perfect!

The travel accommodations they offered was great but extremely overpriced compared to other options. Felt hustled.

Great location. Nice pool and very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and well looked after. We had five rooms as we were a big family group. Coffee making facilities and a good fridge in every room. Free beach towels each day was great.

It’s all well run but the property is showing its age and a little tired. It’s in the middle of the action in Playa del Carmen which we knew would mean some noise but there is a karaoke bar to one side of the hotel and one night it was pretty painful from 1am-3am. Even with ear plugs! Just to be expected based on location n

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the fifth avenue and Mamitas beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The hotel is not big, so it is very appropriate for families, since kids can walk around the hotel with no risks.

It's very noisy at night. Not because of the hotel guests, but because of the restaurants and bars very close to it. We were listening the karaoke show every night from the swimming pool or the room.
