Very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Almost unbelievable and never before experienced in extensive travel, the manager at the desk during check-in said we had a room with 'no view' when asked by my wife if she had a nice room for us. I thought she was joking! She wasn't! We were shown to a ground floor room with a patio door that opened directly into the car park and the associated windows with frosted glass so we simply could not see out. My wife complained and the room was changed to one with a good view after some fuss - but this should not have happened in the first place. How does a hotel with a 4-star label offer a room with frosted windows??

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is great being a little further from the center with around 10min walk to the main area in Sagres with restaurants and shops offering peace and quiet. The Hotel facilities are very good and the staff is lovely and helpful! The hotel or its partners offer a range of activities and the hotel staff will help you arrange them. They will give you excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants etc. We paid some extra to get a room with sea view, which was very nice but we did not end up spending that much time on the balcony as the hotel and its surroundings are so nice. The hotel pool is very nice and there is only a short walk to the beach.

Speechless! I had asked them to reserve the room with a sea view for me to celebrate my wedding anniversary; and, despite the well-known policies of hotels, for which it is impossible to be sure of a specific room, they not only accommodated me but had a bottle of sparkling wine with a HANDWRITTEN message of welcome and best wishes for our anniversary! Exceptional, all in all. From the comfort of the room to the fantastic breakfast. These days finding a 4-star hotel that really lives up to the hype is difficult; the Memmo Hotel seems almost like an old-fashioned hotel, when staying in a hotel was an experience in itself. Thank you Memmo and all the staff, we will definitely be back

I loved the dramatic landscape with the beautiful view over the bay and the Martinhal islands. Breakfast was rich and tasty, with enough choice to spoil even the most demanding. Our need for gluten free produce was met with freshly baked (or rather reheated frozen) gluten free rolls. The hotel's restaurant and bar were also well staffed with well mannered and exquisite personnel and offered both tasty meals as well as exciting cocktails.

The planning of the hotel leaves much to be desired. It's difficult to go from point A to point B and in most cases this involves using the slow and non responsive lifts. But all in all, this was a perfect experience.

Breakfast, room and restaurant are good. I would recommend them. The city is quiet and compact and the location offers a stunning view of the Atlantic. The lounge music everywhere creates a nice atmosphere. The staff is pretty professional although sometimes it might seem like you’re overloading them.

Even if reserving through Booking.com, the hotel should offer a solution for the airport transfer. It’s just too far. So, either offer a shuttle (at a premium price) or advise to get a rental car. Also it would be nice to transparently show the ocean temperature, for those who want to go swim.

The location and the facilities are top class. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is just brilliant. They have also gone out of their way to accommodate one of our party who is gluten and egg intolerant. The prices at the hotel restaurant were really reasonable considering how everything has gone up in price. The outside pool is heated which is a rarity and while it wasn’t steaming hot, you could stay in it for a while.

The kids play area is next to what I assume are the pumps and heaters for the outside pool. With that said our kids didn’t skip a day of going there so it clearly didn’t bother them much.

Very beautiful design hotel with great level of services. We stayed only one night but did enjoy the room - a bit small but good equipments and stunning sea view. I need to confess our highlight was the breakfast - that just was mind blowing. Very professional staff. All in in, a good option for this area.

Permanent scent in the air (probably this home lounge scents) that is giving headaches. Swimmingpool was cold. We did not like the area (Sagres) this is obviously a personal opinion.

This hotel is perfect in every way, from the rooms, breakfasts, grounds, and ocean views to the pool and sauna. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious and varied, offering something for every taste. The staff is polite and always ready to help. We absolutely loved our stay. There is a small outdoor area for children, including a huge trampoline where they can have so much fun! I especially want to highlight the sauna. It's quite rare to find a good sauna in a hotel in Portugal, but this one is excellent, with high temperatures—just as it should be. The indoor pool is also great, though not very large, making it a perfect option for swimming even in winter.

The breakfast buffet was very good, the pool was very nice with a private walk to the beach right beside the harbour. Great view of the harbour and the ocean. Easy to walk to the town from here and the main beach is just a walk down the main road from the resort. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious prepared by their chef who did an awesome job. Very small town but has a market and everything you need while you stay in Sagres. Very laid back place and easy to move around, very cool to watch the surfers, great place to surf or to learn, can get an instructor from the resort if you wish.

Room was amazing. Exceptionally clean. Great views. Breakfast selection was superb - only problem the hot selection was luke warm, or cold. However, if you order fried eggs or omelettes, they are cooked to order and are delivered to your table hot, but bacon, tomato, hash browns etc. to accompany were cold! We ate in the hotel restaurant for 2 nights and it was incredible.

I have looked back on other comments and couldn’t find any previous references to cold food, so maybe there was a problem at the hotel for the 3 days we were there.
