Apartment was a good size. Front view from balcony was amazing. Staff were very helpful especially Vanessa. Location was perfect for a walk along the boardwalk which is just across the road. Beach is just down the road. Town centre is a 15/20 minute walk. Luca’s roof top restaurant is just over the road and a worth a visit.

Unfortunately (and through no fault of the apartments) there is a massive derelict hotel (previously called the Dolphin Hotel) right next door to the apartments which is an eyesore, we could see it from the side view of our balcony and when we returned or left the building. It is a such a shame as it spoils the area.

Although a bit hard to find at first, Villa Doris is in a perfect location. Dona Ana, one of the main beaches (I guess the only close one with umbrellas & sunbeds) is 5mins of walking distance; the Old City is 25mins by feet, and the wooden panorama deck that follows along the shoreline starts right across the building. There's a huge abandoned hotel right next to Villa Doris but it appears secure enough. As I came in the "working hours", I didn't have to go fetch the keys from the sister hotel (400m away), and Vanessa at the reception is a gem, so helpful and positive. The flat is spacious, with coffee machine, oven, orange juicer and toaster..etc; and it was pretty clean. I stayed in a city view room; there's a huge balcony and clothes dryer rack, which was very handy after a long day at the beach. There's no noise around, which is a huge bonus point. If you're looking for a peaceful time near the beach instead of partying; it is the perfect location. There are only a few restaurants & shops nearby but the Old City is close enough.

The pool is very very small, but there are many beach options nearby, so it's not a big problem.

The room was very spacious and clean with two bathrooms. The location was perfect, it was only 2 minutes walking distance form the beach. A perfect beach vacation where you could spend hours at the beach and come for a quick shower and leave for the city, which was also 15-20 minutes walking distance. Vanessa from the reception was very helpful and accommodating, thank you for your warm welcome too!

As everyone mentioned the abandoned creepy building next to the hotel gave just a little feeling of unsafety in the night but that's all.

Location to the beach was great. Very spacious modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen which was great. Very comfortable bed. Great view from the patio.

It was attached to a very derelict building which was an eyesore but the side where the apartments were had been redone and were very nice. Was concerned at first if the abandoned building it was attached to would be a safety issue with potential squatters as there was also no staff on at the building lobby with it being their shoulder season. There was a vacant lot next door which also appeared to have had someone squatting there at some point.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Doris Suites in Lagos. The location was perfect, just a short walk to beautiful beaches, the historic old town, and many restaurants and shops, making it easy to enjoy everything Lagos has to offer. The unit was clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. A special mention to our host Vanessa, who was incredibly informative, welcoming, and genuinely a great person. Her local tips and warm approach made our stay even more enjoyable.

Location great. Great views from the balcony. Staff super kind and supportive. The area is very nice and you can find a lot of activities and entertainment. Great to visit and eat at Lagos Down Town. In one of the tour we saw the killer whales.

Very few to improve. We enjoy the place.

2 minutes from a lovely beach, not far from Old Town (15/20 min walk or cheap 5min cab). Comfortable room with cleaning every day if required. The staff are so friendly! They gave my boyfriend a bottle of wine as they realised it was his birthday (we didn’t even tell them).

A little coffee would have been lovely for the first morning before we went to the shops but that’s a minor thing.

Perfect location to explore the Algarve beaches. The apartament was spacious and cleaned every day. Jaccuzi in the bathrroom. Kitchen Fully equipped With top appliances and well maintained. Beautiful views spacious deck overlooking the Ocean. With confy tables and chairs. Definitely a place to enjoy and appreciate the stay. The apartament sparkling cleaned and refreshed every day by a Nice and polite cleaning person. A place to call home.

The proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches and the boardwalk too, is phenomenal! It also felt very safe and the hunt was tended to daily and kept very clean.

Wish there was a hot tub on site but there are jetted bathtubs in the units so that’s nice. We also didn’t like they it was connected to a very large deserted commercial building. Made the exterior atmosphere seem a bit sketchy although we did feel safe overall.

Huge beautiful apartment, all the necessary amenities ( except coffee which seems to be the norm) this is the most gorgeous beach I’ve ever visited. I live that there is a restaurant with a full bar on the beach. There is a little market basically next door for wine, beer, soft drinks, water and snacks. Old town is about a 15-20 minute walk. Beach is just a few feet away down a long flight of stairs. If you want water sports, boat trips etc go down to the marina, lots to do!
