stayed at the Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District by IHG on Monday, April 14th, and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. The standout for me was the staff at the reception — especially Khalid, who was super professional, helpful, and just genuinely kind. The service felt personal and warm, not just “standard.” They even surprised me by sending complimentary food to my room. The location was perfect — really close to the exhibition centre, which was the whole reason I was in Riyadh. The hotel itself was spotless, everything super clean and well-kept. The bed and pillows? On point. Super comfortable. For the business purpose I went, this was was the right choice.

Honestly, there’s nothing I didn’t like. It’s rare, but this stay was just smooth and enjoyable all around.

Location was far from city centre. The facility was excellent and staff was exceptional.

The booking.com advertisement and confirmation email stated that breakfast was included, however, when I went to get some breakfast I was told it was not included in the deal. I was very upset and frustrated that I was misled. Despite the email confirmation stating that breakfast was included the staff insisted they cannot accommodate it and that I must contact booking.com. I will be filing a complaint about this when I have the time to do so.

The duty manager spoke English very well and suggested Boulevard city (not the Boulevard) which was very interesting. I was very thankful for the upgrade to a junior suite. The breakfast was fantastic and the bed very comfortable. The swimming pool is great and not too cold for doing laps, even in December.

A free hotel shuttle between the airport and hotel would be appreciated. It is in the vicinity of the airport though to get from the airport to the hotel requires one to go way past the hotel before essentially doing a U-turn.

The hotel is relatively new and offers excellent facilities and a high quality arrival experience. The staff are faultless and so friendly. I have to single out Mustapha on reception who was exceptional. My room was upgraded and so comfortable, spacious and well laid out. Pillows and bed was very comfortable. I was provided with a selection of soft drinks, bowl of fruit, nuts and dates which was a lovely surprise!! Quality customer service.

The only downside to the Holiday Inn is its location unless one just needs access to the airport. Connection by car to Roshn Front or the main city centre is a bit convoluted having to drive a few miles to the nearest U Turn, adding to time and taxi cost. Uber taxis may cancel on you because of the location as they did with me 4 times!! Its a shame there wasn't a dedicated 2 way roadway between Roshn Front and the hotel / Business District. Other than this, the only other disappointment was the main swimming pool and balconies on the rear of the hotel which get morning sun only and in shade from midday onwards.

5 star treatment inside the room i loved it. I would recommend this place to anyone,the drive from the airport is a scenic one. The room itself is remarkable it was well maintained no smell whatsoever and fully stocked with amenities like slippers,robes,water coffee/tea station an ironing board and an iron as well as a safe. You also have your own balcony with table and chairs the view though was a construction site.The hallway was well lit and kept immaculate a true benchmark of a Holiday Inn.

Breakfast not included. Staff could use a little bit more interpersonal skills but they were helpful considering i arrived early and can't checkin until 3 pm but they were able to manage to find me a room immediately(well an hour an a half to be exact). One staff in the dining hall was rude but everybody else was fine.

The stuff at hotel are amazing - very helpful, reliable, professional, welcoming, friendly. Hotel is very clean, breakfast nice with variety of options and not crowded during serving time. Specially am so grateful for the receptionists who always was arranging for car with driver, which was even cheaper that Careem or Uber. We were attending conference in very remote Malham location, and it was challenging to find taxi to get there. 5 min drive from hotel located Riyadh Front - a very nice shopping area with lots of good restaurants. We didn't face much traffic to get out of the hotel or back to the hotel from conference venue. Will definitely recommend to all my colleagues who's traveling for work or business trips.

The hotel was a little further from the airport than our normal choice so the taxi was a little more expensive but this would not put me off staying again

The room was clean and nice, they upgraded my room when mine was for twin and Iasked for a king size bed for free, so that’s was much appreciated. their room service performance was great and their food was good as well. Anyone staying here you need to ask for the lemon mint juice it’s just phenomenally fresh!

We were exhibiting at Global Health, we had many things that needed to be taken to, and from the car each morning, and each evening. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy, and especially helped more when they could see we were tired. The facilities, food, and beverages at the hotel was top class, and well priced.
