This property was in the perfect location for my genealogy conference, just a quick walk from the Salt Palace Convention Center and the FamilySearch Library. (That the hotel provides a free & delicious breakfast buffet every morning was a very nice touch - especially as they had gluten-free options!)

If there was one thing I *had* to pick on? The fact that it was a little confusing as to what the “Green Option” for housekeeping meant. There were times I’d put the tag on my door at night to indicate that I didn’t need them to clean the room the next day & they’d still clean it - garbage emptied, bed made & fresh towels placed. (But, honestly, it’s minor & I guess they have to err on the side of caution.)

It was very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable.

It is $20 a night to park but parking is very limited. We returned from the football game and there were no parking spaces available. I went to the front desk and was told I could park down the street at a different parking lot and they also charged. They said they would not charge me for the one night. It was after midnight and we didn’t feel safe walking from down the block. Luckily the front counter person was kind enough to move his car and he had a handicap parking permit and made bed his car to that space.

Breakfast was great! Lots of choices! The location is wonderful, as it is in walking distance of so many sites. The staff was also friendly. When checking in, they asked if we wanted a higher floor for a better view. I called the night before to inquire about early check in, and we we arrived, the woman at the desk remembered me, referenced our discussion and had a room ready for us!

We paid for parking but their lot isn't that big. We went out one evening, and when we returned, there were only 3 spots left. (We returned at 9:00- so not super late.) By the time we parked, ALL slots were taken. As we went through the entrance, there were 3 groups to check in, all with cars. If they paid to park, there were no places for them.

The place is very convenient because it is next to the convention center in Utah, the breakfast is great, and it is very close to the mall and also has a lot of restaurants close to the restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. The first time they gave me a room on the top floor with a spectacular view and the price of the room was very reasonable but unfortunately this time they gave me a room that was too noisy, it was next to the elevator and You could hear everyone going down and up, in addition to that, the view overlooking the road, which is not pleasant at all. To top it all off there was construction all week, coming from the city of NJ the least I want is to be hearing noises especially when you pay a lot of money to stay in a hotel. On the other hand, the cost of the hotel was much higher than the first time, which considering the construction, they should have given customers a discount for the inconvenience or at least better rooms.

We were very disappoint at front desk staff. We arrived late (We suppose to check in on Saturday, but due to the traffic we called the hotel and let the staff know that we will check in late around 5-6 am next day late. To make it short we checked in 6 am the next day). When we walk in the lady at the front desk doesn't greet us, the first thing she said to us "We need to charge you $75.00 for check in early". Which is made us very disappointed so we explained our situation and asked her since we check in at 6am can we check out a bit late like 1 or 2 pm, and she answered "I don't know you have to call us around 7 or 8 am then we will let you know". We were tired and disappointed with her attitude, so we checked out at 10am.

Beds were very comfortable and I love that each one comes with multiple pillows to choose from, all of which were full and not worn down feeling. The staff was helpful and kind. Our room was extremely clean. Extremely convenient location, so many restaurants and stores within walking distance. We’ve had some pretty bad hotel experiences lately so staying here was a breath of fresh air. I honestly can’t say a bad thing about it. I appreciate that parking was in a secure garage, too.

Room was nice, clean, great view. Breakfast was great, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, small omlettes. So much more than just the usual waffles, cereal and breads

When I booked the room I booked for a king. When we got to the room we found we got two queens. I double checked the booking to confirm it was supposed to be a king. I called the front desk and he said there were no more. Not having a king room is fine, he just should have told me when I checked in

The hotel is absolutely beauitful and very clean. It is easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable!

I really enjoyed my stay here but the only thing I disliked was parking, the lot entrance can be easily missed and there is no direct access to the hotel so you have to walk all the way around with your bags. It was raining during our stay so this was a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Maggie was very polite and helpful as I called a couple days prior with some questions that she answered for me and was also there at the desk during check-in to get us squared away. We also had a fun conversation with Gerry as we were checking out and she was wonderful to talk to and helped end our stay on a positive note. The location was great since we had tickets to an event at the Capitol Theater and could walk there in just a few minutes. The breakfast was pretty good but we didn't like the hashbrowns which were a little stale/hard and the scrambled eggs had a strange texture but there were plenty of choices so we were able to get enough to eat.

Getting the temperature in the room set to a comfortable level was difficult. The thermostat on the wall didn't do anything so I had to manually set the temperature at the fan by the window. It felt either too warm or a little too cool for quite some time. But I turned the temperature down just before going to bed but it didn't cool the room like we expected and I woke up after an hour or so because I was too hot. It made for a somewhat rough start to the night but I removed the top blanket and slept ok after that. I've definitely had much worse nights at other places but it was a bit inconvenient.

A very clean and cozy hotel with friendly staff and a delicious, appetizing, and varied breakfast. Each room has a temperature controller, a TV, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee machine. Although the hotel is located in the city center with heavy traffic, the rooms have excellent soundproofing, so you don’t hear the noise of passing cars. This is the best value for money. We will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you!
