Loved the location; the hotel was close to the beach and had fun shops and restaurants to walk to and explore. The facility was clean, had plenty of parking. Staff was great. I also love how there was complimentary breakfast with plenty of seating in the dining area. My family also enjoyed the hot tub and the heated pool. Also ice machines and amenities like the gym were easy to find. We also thought that entrances to hotel were great; the hotel had various doors with key card entrances available other than main lobby entrance.

Saddened that on our last day of stay the hot tub had a not working sign. Also on the last day, the complimentary breakfast had the same option of food from the day before and the pancake machine was also no working.

Pretty much everything. Clean, comfortable, good water pressure, seamless check-in, nice selection in after-hours snacks, only two stories so no problem taking stairs instead of waiting for elevator to get to room… Felt safe for a solo female traveler. Easily accessible from the highway, close to several beautiful beach access points including seal watching! Close to shops and good restaurants. A direct pretty drive up into the mountains and Lake Casitas on the way to Ojai. Very close to Santa Barbara airport so convenient for early morning car rental and flight.

Only would have been nicer if it had been on the beach and/or any nice view from the window (was of the parking lot; just closed the curtains).

Conveniently close to restaurants, grocery store and the beaches. Rooms were large with a sitting area and a work station. Bedding was exceptionally clean and comfortable - I’m going to order a pillow online. It was that good. The bathroom was equipped with well placed grab bars and also had a fold out shower bench. Landscaping was well maintained. Parking had a choice of covered spots. The lobby was inviting with several seating arrangements. It contained a small library and a small concession area. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Breakfast staff was attentive and nice. I had requested an upstairs room facing west and was accommodated. Rooms facing the opposite direction would had freeway noise since the property is located next to the 101. My room was quiet.

The male receptionist working on 11/6/24 was curt. I got a sense that he was having a bad day. Some of the cleaning staff looked at me quizzingly when I walked down the hallway to my room - very odd. The rooms were a little dated with wall paper peeling in the bathroom and door veneers being chipped.

It was nicely landscaped. The pool and hot tub were clean. House keep were super nice and did a great weekend

There were no towels by the pool so you had to go to the front desk to get them before you swam. There was one front desk person who I think needs a vacation. He was not very nice. When I had to ask for things he acted very annoyed. The door lock was missing screws but did work. The pull out sofa very uncomfortable and they only had sheets and one blanket in the closet.

The front desk staff was helpful. They accommodated an additional night and had excellent dinner recommendations. The breakfast service was good, and the servers were attentive. We could use more toasters and a variety of fruits. The space was clean, and that was important.

The gym was found lacking. The light switch didn't work, and the front desk had to be called. Additionally, the television was not working. It was not a welcoming space.

The staff was welcoming and informative. We had our small dog with us and there are many sidewalks on the property and the street to walk him.

There was quite a bit of vegetation. It was very pretty. The building was clean and the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast selection was great! Breakfast timing was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating was excellent. Laundry facility on site was an excellent option. Rooms were very clean.

Pool area had students coming through the fence. Rules not adhered to - vaping by the pool. Our room did not have privacy curtains or shade! The room was rather bright at night...

Hotel was nice, clean and great value. Great location to stay in the nice town of Carpinteria. Enjoyed the included breakfast on the patio.

Our room slept 5 people (two queens and a pullout couch) but there were only about 3 bath towels in the room. For a room that size it would have been nice if it had enough bath towels in it upon arrival.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

The breakfast and need to have bottled water in the rooms. Suggestions: 1. Better coffee. There are self serve good coffee machines that serve espresso and cappuccino. 2. Better bread. White and whole wheat artisan bread. 3. Good quality cheese. 4. Waffle machine (self serve). 5. Bottled water in the rooms.

Great hotel with parking, little pool and hottub. Rooms are spacious and clean and toiletries and plenty of towels provided. Staff were amazing - so attentive and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was a good selection and plenty to fuel up on for the day.

Can't fault this hotel it was great
